(although i love Shift and Shift 2 even more, but these are NFS in name only, and i rather consider them a part of Project Cars series, they were made by the same studio). But older games are also my favourite. PS2 and Xbox 360 are my favourite consoles, it's crazy how many awesome titles were made back then. Obviously same goes for pc games from that period. If I pay them, they give me 100% of the content. Those were the days. There was DLC for some games, but it only added more fun to a 100% game.

I recommend: Deus Ex Kingpin Soldiers of Fortune 2 Max Payne Medal of Honor Alied Assault Sim City 2000 Far Cry (1 and 2, if it's not to new. 3 was cool, too, but from then on it's always the same game) Diablo I & II + Lord of Destruction Mafia (the original one, though the remake is good, too, but it's not from the 2000s) Star Wars Jedi Academy II Age of Mythology Age of Empires II Silver aaaand many more.... (not a game) well, almost every game from back then was good when it came out haha...

And remember kids, most of the best games of all time were made before the last decade and a half

I`ve played Tiberium Wars the other day and it still looks awesome.

That singular crash from LA Rush was better than any crash ive seen in any Forza game.

Unreal tournament, S.t.a.l.k.e.r, Devastation, and Counter strike 1.6 were my favorites.

I was glad to see Freedom Fighters. Id also recommend Conflict: Desert Storm and Second Sight. Really fun games from my childhood.

This list was cool, but when I saw Brothers In Arms 8:45 it even became perfect. I love this series, so good to see it mentioned somewhere

Thanx! In my older videos, I included more information about the games, but it often led to misunderstandings. For example, GTA San Andreas was released in 2004, but for PC in 2005. I used the PC release date, so you can guess what the comment section looked like: "Hey, you id*t, GTA SA was released in 2004." ..etc 😐

I generally create content for low-end gamers, helping them find games that are less-known and don't require a NASA PC to run. Of course, this can also be nostalgic if you're older person or simply enjoy older games.

Chrome was such an underrated game. I wish it get more attention because it was an awesome game with huge maps which you could explore without being forced to follow certain path in order to complete the mission.

I always thought Area 51 would be a good action horror game to remake with todays technology. Pretty cool game back in the day. Also two more games to add to that list is Mace Griffon: Bounty Hunter and The Thing.

I highly recommend Blod Rayne 1/2, The suffering 1/2, Cold Fear, Rogue Trooper(there's also a remaster) and The Matrix(the original)

Even if some of them aged bad in terms of graphics, on pure "fun" and entertainment part most of them are 100% better than the AAA we have today. What's impress me most is the incredible variety of genres, whereas today every game seems to have the same formula. 2000-2010 was truly the golden age of videogames!

agree 100%. I think the last send off for this generation was in 2013 where we got GTA V and ARMA 3. It went downhill after that, probably only RDR2 that was exceptional.

it's just that most games now are free-to-play games and fps/online games. And a lot of mobile games and commercial stuff. But among the very good games they are way better than the games of the 2000's. Even just indie games can be very pretty, artistic etc Now you have some games where it went downhill because they focused way too much on graphics and not physics. Like Watch dogs 2 (2016) or Cyberpunk (2020) have lower quality physics than GTA IV (2008)

But honestly, it doesn't make sense to question why CP 2077's physics isn't as good as GTA's. Who cares about physics in a game where you spend 80% of the time reading and only 20% shooting?

i remember the days when i had to look for the old games to run and even pirate them bcs i didnt have steam, good times

I got a lot of games for free. I remember, back in the day, when we used to get bonus CDs with gaming magazines. They often had full games for free, demos, and other stuff on them.

My rig is a 4x4 4570, 16gb, 870 ssd, audigy 2 & 9800gtx+ running 7. Absolute prime for these games 😊 I've been thinking about doing SLI on this z97 if the price is right.
