Been watching for years. Back in the day you would provide informative use/cost information. Understanding that some of what you may do nowadays is sponsored, a “spitball” figure of cost for parts and/or labor for something like this off-grid electrical system would be informative as well. Another great quality video though.

Saw that puff of blue smoke on the bird when you pulled out on the main road. I have two high mileage 7.3 diesels that Archoil fuel additive did a great job cleaning up the old injectors. The Archoil oil additive is great in the oil changes as well.... Your channel is so welcomed in this current state of chaos. Thank you so much for the smiles as you all make miles!

Another great video! We just picked up an older class A motorhome few weeks ago that we are currently making repairs and doing some remodel on. We are getting ready to go full-time RVing and one of the things we need to look into in the near future is a better off-grid power solution.

We had 1000 amp hours of battleborn batteries, two magnum inverters, 2400 watts of solar, had some magnum inverter issues, wish we would have went with what you have, but the class A came with the magnum. We are fulltime and started our channel because of watching y’all. Love your channel and your family.

Your solar guys did a great job on your Bird project! You may want a couple more flex solar panels to put on ground like PVC mount for winter months or rain days. They are lightweight and will help Kw wise.

love the bird, however we have a 15 year old dutch star (newmar diesel pusher) with 4 slides that i recommend people take a look at, opposing slides open up floor space like you can not believe, love you guys and keep up the good work

Just had 1200 watts of Solar installed by Continuous Resources in Utah with the 100 amp Battle Born, wish I knew about the GC270 but hey, its all good! I also had problems with my lights on the the tow vehicle and it ended up being a bad plug on the tow. I changed it out and all the lights worked.

Nice setup. Mine is very similar. 1200 watts of solar on 2-150/45 Victron controllers , Multiplus2 3k, Cerbo GX, 824Ah of lithium batteries, BMV712 and a GX touch 50. Gotta love Victron!!!

They seem to do very good work - consistently, nice install. I had forgot they are in Elkhart 📌

My only reservation would be the interference that solar panels on the roof would do to to the Casita’s aerodynamics. Probably worth it to get all that power from the sun. Rock On

You can pretty much bet or bank on that all parts which are supplied from Battle Born including Victron are donated for media exposure. Labor was charged for the deserved professional at Future Solutions. Is what it is. All them social media “ Likes “ takes away the OMG! YIKES PRICE! from the normal end users. Thats a 20K + install for non KZread Stars

You probably figured out that tow electrical problem, already. But I had the same problem, but it works when I plug into vehicle, I just lean it to the right side and everything is fine with the connections.

So great to see Future Solutions growing. They did our upfit and were phenomenal both during and after. Wow that's a battery bank for sure, congrats!

We just removed our 6x100ah Battle Born batteries and put in 3 of their GC3 270ah batteries!! LOVE them....you will too!!

Very special, don't know how the common camper could ever afford!

I watch your channel every night. I need that solar system in my RV. Just starting full time RV as a single female.

They did a great job, I have installed some large systems but not in anything that old, I'm sure it had its fair share of challanges....

Nice video as always. To be clear power is in watts, energy is in watt hours, so your batteries contain 12,800 watt hours (12.8kWh) of energy when full. Sorry to nitpick, but its an easy mistake to make.

Absolutely PERFECT. I also have a very similar setup using all Victron and Battle Born. however I only have 600 AH of batteries and one multiplus-II inverter. after my install I quickly discovered that one inverter just wasn't enough power (2400 watts) looking into adding my second inverter ( to make 4800 watts) but not sure how to run them parallel. I will also need to add 4 more batteries. yes I do all of my own work. I will eventually figure it out. you must be floating on cloud nine having such an awesome system. congrats. one thing I did notice as a game changer was when I recently installed my Easystarts (Bluetooth) on each of my A/C units. did you install them on yours yet? safe travels.

All that Shag Carpet? The static electricity alone could make the Bird faster than Doc’s Flux-Capacitor Delorean!!

I am so psyched to see where the mother road takes the Bird. This season has a special feeling for me. Not sure why...happy travels and I hope you figure out the $*U#( wiring of a Subaru. Beat me for 7 years, but maybe you have the inside track for "Why does the turn signal only work every 3rd use?"

Love your stuff but For north of 25k I can buy a heck of a lot of gas for my generator. You need an engine upgrade or a turbo depending on engine condition I noticed it smoking a little. Not sure Ild put that kind of money in a coach that old. Pulling the Subaru is going to cost you a transmission sooner rather than later.

Very nice job on the solar Very few consider how it blends in You should consider upgrading your alternator to 200 (or more) amps then you can run the AC off the bus electrical system That’s what I did cost was minimal

Now you need to get the new Dometic 12 volt AC units. BOOM!

At 17:56 you had brakes lights on the bird and the subaru but you did not have a blinker on the subaru. At 18:09 brakes lights off when you let off to make the left hand turn.

Awesome install on the bird, Mark! Are the Battleborn batteries using a custom BMS? All the LiFePO4 batteries I've looked at cannot manage more than 110 Ah at a time, due to BMS issues. Sounds like a better way to go IMHO. BTW, you CAN get an air fryer head for your instant pot! Is that fridge a household type? Because it looks like one IMHO. Your toad looks like there's an OPEN circuit, most likely a pin not making proper contact with the cable. You guys never cease to amaze me in your travels, keep bringing it on strong! Safe, and hoppy travels from the Boondocking Brewer™!

Just wanted to throw this out there because we had problem a couple years ago with power not getting to our tow vehicle behind our class a and after many weeks of knocking our heads against the wall, it turned out we had the cord plugged in upside down! Apparently the cord can be plugged in upside down but only functions one way. Hope this helps and if not I hope you figure it out! Love you guys by the way! My favorites!

So I’ve been doing as much comparing as much as possible. I’m glad to see y’all got the 270ah batteries. Was curious why people chose 6 100s over 2 or three 270 ones. Now to choose bluetti ac300 or eco flow solar generator

Love seeing the progress with the Bird. How does the added weight from the solar install affect the driving, if at all? Hope you’re able to fix the issue with the connection to the Subaru.

Amazing to see how far Battery Banks have come. The technology is only going to grow in the future. Off grid homes must be the next milestone, EV being charged by a solar battery combo, like to see the effects that our northern climates If the cold would affect the overall electrical storage amount. Who knows maybe one day they might make daylight savings standard so we can have more daylight hours. Thank for bringing us along on the evolutional journey. Holly Smokes that is a huge system! Our current Class A is Fully electric no propane which makes is a bit harder to Boondock. This would be an idea system for us. FYI, You had us rolling with your foil hat! 😂
