Good morning! How has the XLX2 been holding up for you? I'm about to order a XLX2 for my DBXL-E 2.0 but now I'm reading about faulty ESC's and cases of blowing up :(

One thing I really appreciate about your builds is that they always look so amazing. Wire layouts are always thought out, and your vehicles are showroom clean looking. Performance is awesome of course, but these extra details are what sets this channel apart.

@@InnovationRC As I type this I'm taking a break from mapping out a 2x10 I can screw up on the garage ceiling to hang my lasers and lights from. No one is going to see it but me, it's just a practice setup, but I'm already picking out just the right lengths of custom cables I've made. So it looks nice for me I guess 🤣. Measuring though so I can get the angles just right or it will light up and look funny... Details are everything even if it's just you that notices. HUGE CONGRATULATIONS Brandon 👏 I know how much hard work you put in. I started watching this last night, saw 1st run of 101mph then literally got pulled away on business. Just seen in full. 103mph on 2nd run... I reckon there's more in the tank, going by TP Can cool temps, is room for taller gearing. Man that CC XLX2 is a Monster 👾 New World Record is in the post 🏆 🏁 #N01 Oh BTW Brandon I use big pancake Graphene Panthers 6000mah 75C in my K8S & have to stand them sideways like you, its a struggle to get Strap through the Plastic Loop.. Can I ask did you remove the Plastic piece & use the original Strap or did you fit new battery straps ? TIA 🙏

Thanks on that man. I have the OEM battery straps. I just pull the forward through the top side and velcro it, after I'll adjust by sliding it back up and around to make it work.

I love the wing on the front for downforce. And it looks badass! Can you share what parts/mods you used to accomplish that? It would be so appreciated. I really enjoy your videos. Thank you! Edit: lol After looking a little closer I can see you did a lot of custom fab to get that splitter installed. Really looks good man. That road you're running on it perfect. It's nice and long and it has plenty of grass on each side if the car goes off the road. That thing is a beast! Now I need to up my Kraton 8s... (I picked the same body to.. :) Right now I'm stuffing a max 6 and an 1100kv into my Felony.

I have a arrma felony with a 5680 t.p 1920 kv motor. Had a 42 pinion with a 34 spool and ran it for the first time today and the esc caught fire! And I literally went about 35 feet not even half throttle. Seen ya video and was thinking of getting this esc

Sorry to hear that. Last time I ran an xlx in my Kraton it caught fire at only 83 mph, long ago. Haven't decided to push it until this new esc. It did the trick

Just watched Kevin Talbot burn up 2 of those XLX2's, almost back to back, and he didn't even get to run them yet. Seemed like he did the install totally fine. He even tried the TP motor. Anyway, your videos are awesome! I was thinking of using the stock 8s kraton electronics, for a limitless. I'm not big time like you. 100mph would be nice, without reaching thermal shutdown too quickly.

Man....... I’ll take rain on the back too if it’s going to be something fun and exciting. I love the rain tho at times.... in once took a shower under the cold rain with a bar of Dr Squach it was the pine tar. If your going to try ANY of their soaps get pine tar. It’s the only one that smells like a $7 bar of soap. Awesome vid.

I figured it out! The esc not the issue the max volts for the motor is 28.5 and I was running 8s which is higher than the 28.5 so I just gotta run 6 or 7 s and I’ll be good
