Stratia Liquid Gold used to be my holy grail moisturizer when on tretinoin, but I’ve noticed that the oil component in it started to oxidize. I replaced it with Skin 1004 soothing cream it has 3 ceramides/cholesterol/phytosphingosine/ centella/ tranexamic acid. No niacinamide and oils for people that are sensitive. Holy grail status

This brand is so underrated. It rarely gets talk about even in kbeauty subreddits. I really do love their soothing cream. It's a very good day moisturizer for my oily skin. And it plays very well with other products like it wouldn't cause any pilling.

Agreed! I also bought the entire brightening line because it was super cheap for Black Friday! $45 ampoule turned into $10 . The cleanser $22 to $6 and the toner was also $6. The soothing cream was 70% off as well!

It is because this brand was created and promoted only for southeast asian countries (humid countries) and now because of the internet they promoted it for all over the world now.

Skin1004 does great textures especially for hot and humid weather. Loving the brand so much

It's a multi-tasker!

Their Light Cleansing Oil is my go to. It seems to have the perfect balance of slip and emulsification. It rinses well without a noticeable residue and it doesn’t cause dryness. I have already ordered the Soothing Cream. I can’t wait to try it. Thank you for the reviewing these. I will definitely try the toner.

It’s great to hear about this new brand, thanks for the review! 🌻 I’m interested in trying the toner and ampoule; but the Madagascar Centella Soothing Cream has peppermint extract in it and that could be irritating for sensitive skin.

I love the Madagascar Centella Soothing Cream for the summertime! It layers so well under my moisturizing sunscreen. So smooth. No pilling! The light honey-like texture feels so refreshing when the weather is hot and humid.

The 100 Centella ampoule is just amazing. In 5 days It changed my skin. I can't wait to get the whole line. Centella Asiática is the new MVP of skin care. I hope they come up with more products with high amounts of Centella. Like an emulsion...

I love seeing your thoughts on this brand. I’ve tried it before and I think some of their products are real knockouts. I also like Apieu’s 100% Centella Extract Ampoule, it’s nearly the same to the Skin1004 but it also has Madecassoside

Nice to see your take on skin1004! I used to love the centella ampoule, until I found that my skin likes mugwort more (tonymoly artemisia essence, hello!). I do love the dr jart cicapair sleeping mask, would love to hear your thoughts on that line and product!

I know what you mean about mugwort, it's my HG ingredient too!

Have you ever heard of the Ceracolla Perfect Gel or the Rosette Ceramide Gel? Those are two other gel cream options that have ceramides and cholesterol but to my knowledge only the Rosette has fatty acids in the form of some kind of plant oil.

I'd love to try the cream, as it has so many good things in it like tranexamic acid, ceramides, radish root ferment and even phytosphingostine. But all of that goodness is undone by adding peppermint and ginger extracts. Why do companies do this??????? 😭 Especially when the product is meant for sensitive skin????? I'm also very surprised that Kelly did not mention in the cons about the peppermint extract because she doesn't like products that contain possible irritants.

Hey! I can't always talk about every ingredient and their potential to irritate since I already create very long videos. I always focus on the main ones and I do my best to create the ingredient cards for the video so you can easily pick out what might be a red flag for you.

I have this cream and honestly I don't smell anything at all. There is no scent of peppermint or ginger. I don't know the function of those extracts in this formulation but my nose can't detect any fragrance whatsoever.

Extracts is not the same thing as peppermint oil. There isn’t any tingling effect or irritation

@@juhnetmickerdy Anything peppermint extract or otherwise is irritating for me. Also, simply because an ingredient doesn't cause a sensation doesn't mean that it isn't irritating. Always remember that everyone's skin is different.

Thanks for recommendations Kelly:) Just purchased the Centella ampoule, centella soothing cream & Cica Sleeping Pack they really looks gorgeous for summer time. TBH had my eye on these ones for a while know and felt confident as you have given them the thumbs up:) If anyone use Stylevana they sell the ampoule in a 55ml and 100ml for about the same price? Weird right! Make sure you purchase the 100ml!!!! Can't wait OMG!!

Hi Kelly an interesting video as I had looked at this line, but never actually bought anything. The ingredient lists were what attracted me, as I am ultra sensitive (rosacea and eczema). However seeing the textures has been really helpful tbh, as this isn't for my very dry skin. In the Summer I do use something a bit lighter, but my normal is very thick/rich creams and i only go down to a medium weight cream - even at this time of year. Gels and gel/creams aren't for me - they just aren't nourishing enough. We get SOME nice weather here in Scotland and high humidity in the Summer, but it's not really really hot. There might be about 3 days in the whole season, where a cream is a bit much for my skin lol. I am super dry though and can see these textures working really well for those with more normal or especially oily skin. I always find the portion of the videos where you show the texture close up on your hand very helpful, especially as I am so dry. At night for most of the year I use a body cream on my face, as it's so dry and I need the heavier occlusive ingredients in body creams (or a balm). best wishes.

The line is definitely more geared towards oilier skin types, working well for American Midwestern summers now but I feel you on needing the nourishing layers! Really glad to know the texture shots help you out, they take extra time but worth it!

Me too, I have acne prone OILY DEHYDRATED skin…and it’s been SO difficult trying to find a product to suit my skin bc things for hydration seem to heavy and just lay on my skin making it sticky, and things that are for OILY skin r too try! And I need more! So this is interesting and maybe it will be a holy grail? I just bought the travel kid on Amazon for 26 dollars, comes with 6 products of their line! So I can see what works for me

I have been using it, it is so light weight and it absorbs so fast, it really hydrated my skin after started using this one i didn't need to use toner, also it little bright my skin

Is this for any acne? I have tiny dots of acne on my forehead that won’t go away. I’ve been using CeraVe to get rid of it, unfortunately theres no improvement. 😔

I didn't see any % information on their website about the compounds, just the centella extract.

There can't be much centella in there tbh because proper centella asiatica is really dark and brown, and its scent is very herbal.

Their cleansing oil is just SO GOOD! Sadly their foam cleanser is too harsh for me, their centella cream is not too moisturizing for me (I used it when its still in green tube) and their toner is meh for me. But oh my God their ampoule?? Holy grail! Currently on my 5th bottle! I personally do not like it to be used as an ampoule because you can barely feel the effect. Please please try it as a spot sheet mask! I use this when my cheeks get irritated and red, oil splatter or hot water burn it always works!! 🥺🥰 I always have this in stock because I really can’t live without this 😩

Been loving ur content so much, however, I really don't know clearly about chemical suncreen yet. Can you please do a detail video about it? I would recommend Japanese sunscreens to you, most of them have the new generation filters which means that they are more stable protecting from the UV rays

How does the toner compare to the Cosrx cica toner?

Cosrx is way more soothing, calming and hydrating! Skin1004 is more for light exfoliation/brightening.

I like the centella mask. It feels good. But the centella ampoule did not agree well with my skin.
