@@Fretto-xl9bh For about 10 years I was used as profit for my dad by giving him all my earnings because I was trapped in an abusive situation with him and didnt know better. If the kid is truly alone in this and its his own then good on him but I have a feeling he's being used along with his brothers/sisters for money/income.

Damn this is why people need to start being more grateful for the little things that they have. I hope he gets a better life soon 🙏🏾.

The fact that he's 10 years old and doing all of the hardwork to make money, just to survive is such so inspiring to see. My Filipino mother told me that she used to be like him when she's about his age, it was really hard for her to make money since in the 1980's and living in the poorest conditions. Her family can't afford food because they have no jobs so they decide to eat rice with salt. Gladly she taught me very well and her love was the most important thing to me than anything else. The fries looks delicious though and I wished I can met him and afford some of that fries if I was in Pakistan.

Or will companies be insisting on those qualifications before they hire him. In other words, isn't this just stifling his potential? I'm from the UK and we have strict laws that stop children being 'exploited' for the reasons I stated. Are we wrong then to not allow children this experience over schooling them to achieve better? It's an interesting discussion that probably needs a full examination of the facts from both sides of the argument imo.

If Allah existed he wouldn't have put this kid in a condition where today he needs to do so much work to make his ends meet. Being grateful is fine. Plus did you know that in 3rd world countries (mine included), most families with mid to low income have to resort to make their children work especially when the pandemic hits. In my country, i often encounter children who had to work when the schools are on lockdown. Their parents mostly rely on daily income and their children are not doing anything except doing homeworks, so they had to make their children work just to get by daily

The big difference in Brazil is that people here made a lot of protests and now the government is paying some help for families who are having economic problems. These problems is not ours even mine, but the government of Afghanistan should be more open to help these poor people. The politics is the big difference, in all countries of the world humans pay taxes, the minimum of decency is the government's help in hard times like we live now.

But when it inconvenience them (prices go up, etc.) then they start to protest. Sadly my country's corruption level is so high up in the world ranking. We protest but government rarely listen to our pleas and the solutions they give us mostly result in more problems

@@someguy5261 In many cases the children survive only because they can work. It's not always as bad as it's portrayed in the west. Do you think this was different when Europe was underdeveloped? I am not trying to romanticize child labour... But you should never see a problem. From one perspective. Same with Thailand and many tourist country having problems with waste and people making vocation there pointing out. It's like we show these people out livestyle and go there for vacation but at the same time expect the same comfort as at home. Same products and whatever. You realize that you can't measure undeveloped country's by the same standard as first world. They don't have a garbage man whinis picking up garbage constantly. Same with child labour. They don't have social security. If the children dint work in many cases the family doesn't have enough to eat. So you from your western perspective are disliking child labour what means you would rather see children die of hunger rather than give them work. Ist that right?

Its bitter sweet, On one hand you see this 10 year old kid chef and on the other, we see our western influenced, instagram and social media addicted kids of the same age, who feel so privileged at the wasteful life they leave. Those kids feel so vulnerable "online" and peer pressured. What about this one ?
