Okay not to detract from this kid's talent or the band's generosity, but this wasn't totally impromptu. I went to check out his channel. That is Jake's guitar they handed him. STILL one hell of a performance, kid's good, and I still think Slash would be impressed.

Slash would so love how he inspired another young kid. ❤❤❤

I used to not really care for Slash. Until I saw a video of him chatting about skateboarding with a young kid. I am not into skateboarding but Slash was really down to Earth and a great person.

I am 68 I have seen Hendrix LIVE Page and almost every great picker, This kid will is the face of ROCK for the Future

There IS hope for the young generation to carry on Rock into the future. NO auto tuning there! These so called STARS of today's music should sit up and take notice...THAT is how it is done.....Showed this to my six year old grandson and he became SO inspired. He wants a guitar for his B Day........Thanks Jake for this awesome inspiration!!!

He is amazing. No fear of the audience nor playing with such a tremendous group. So cool and calm about it all.

School was never the same for Jake after that Saturday; girls in the hallways seemed to view him... differently... the lunchroom bullies avoided him now. Life was better... much better, for Jake... Rock on, dude... KDM

Anybody know Jeff??? I've been looking for a new home for my 1959 Gibson hollow body magic guitar. Some instruments are imbued with seemingly magical qualities and this old guitar is one of them. The neck was supposedly broken in a bar fight on around 1960 in Memphis. Some craftsman, on a budget, grafted the neck off of a Gibson SOLID body guitar on to this guitar. Not necessarily pretty but has held for over 60? years. I've protected some of the most famous and talented musicians and several played the guitar and all wanted to buy it but wasn't for sale. I've had it since 1972. I cannot do it justice. My time is winding down at 70 and 6 time cancer survivor but trauma and 36 surgeries have been tougher on me. Much of it to my wrist and fingers. So unless already has his perfect guitar it's possible he might make my list of potential new owner. At no cost to his parents. Maybe. rick in Tennessee. I can't believe what I just saw.Super star is born.

Yeah But!... Jake's amazing! (and polite) The singer has total kudos for letting Jake play... But the guitarist = what a man for moving back of stage to support Jake with rhythm guitar. He also (i reckon) asked Jake if he was Ok with the complicated lead, Jake said 'yeah' and he stepps back again. That is the perfect example of how music positively connects people regardless of age, colour, creed religion or race or anything else. Truly wonderful. More music in the world is needed more than ever.
