Although he can be stubborn at times, Vince McMahon should learn that just because someone is muscular, a giant, has name value, or related to you in the case of Shane, doesn't mean that they're automatically ready to be pushed to the top.

Poor Undertaker having to work with Giant Gonzolas
I'll say this about Vladimir Kozlov. He wasn't that impressive but for some reason I liked him, and I'm not usually a fan of wrestlers who are only there because of their size and not because they can actually wrestle. However, his match with Festus was really cool to me, because Festus was also one of those types of guys I actually liked. I thought they put on a decent match or two. But yeah, he definitely belongs on this list.
IDK what happened to Khali. But there are matches of him in other promotions where he was doing moves off the top rope and everything. He was GOOD. He might have suffered either a bad injury. Or his bones did what Andre the Giant's did. As for Mabel. He was a joy to watch in his final run as Big Daddy V. I used to love to see his spinning heel kick. He had great matches on Smackdown and ECW.

Ezekiel Jackson was the original Ezekiel in WWE
The Ruthless Aggression Era had *Luther Reigns* The Modern Era has *Roman Reigns*
Watching Shane McMahon do his thing in WWE is always entertaining. Its like hes been winding up for years and he lets all that energy out in two matches. His match with Kurt Angle was epic in my opinion. I thought they both were gonna die at that match. That was the only match i ever seen where every move was terrifying and real. How they walked out of that building I have not a clue.

Bro that sounds terrible
Vladmir Kozlov should've had a manager to do his talking for him and represent him.
For Big Show, I like to think of his WCW run as The Giant. He could definitely go then, and was surprisingly agile for such a big guy that could do moves off the top rope no less. Of course even then his booking spun him around the heel/face revolving door even then which didn't change when he landed in WWE... I didn't hate Jinder Mahal as WWE champion as much as most, but I agree that they pushed him too far too soon. Maybe if they spent awhile building him up as a credible threat...

Unfortunately I think he said he had to stop doing those moves due to them having long term effects that he was starting to notice.
That power slam reversal of Old School by Kozlov is one of the best I’ve seen
Diesel vs Mabel is one of the Worst main events ever and should have never happen if Kevin Nash is the agile one in the match that's a huge problem he definitely wasn't the guy to carry him and him almost breaking Nash's back was proof his push was a bad idea to begin with
Vladimir Kozlov was always one of my favorites back in the day in WWE you always have potential to this day WWE just didn’t use him the way they should have. It was also interesting seeing Ronda Rousey in this lineup as well because no one including myself liked her in the main event picture.
ryback was so over with the fans it made sense for him to get a push

Ok but Khali was actually pretty decent before he got to WWE. There were, however, a few problems when he was in development. If I recall he did have some injuries before his call up, plus there was the incident where someone was killed. It's almost sad because he could have been so much more than he was. And Jinder Mahal is actually really good, but not TOP STAR good. He's always been mid card, or at least IC title good. He would also need a mouthpiece of sorts if they ever pushed him hard again.

I always found it wild how some of these guys got pushes but not John Morrison or Shelton Benjamin. Jinder Mahal really?
No disrespect to Jack Swagger but there was absolutely no reason for him to win MITB whatsoever especially when Drew McIntyre (even then in 2010) was ALREADY far more over with the fans in just a few months of his debut than Swagger was in his first year in. I was even shocked Randy Orton of all people put Swagger over at the next ppv.

They were investing in a star they saw potential in. That's all, it's just a shame it didn't work out.
No point justifying , but a look into Khali's work in NJPW would prove how agile he once was. But by the time he was signed to the WWE, he lost his power in the knees due to gigantism and has never recovered since.
I'm glad Big Show has a happy conclusion lol I can understand why they put the title on him, the first 'big' defector from WCW who was amazingly agile for a giant, it was a major signing they needed to exploit. But Big Show seemed to switch from heel to face and back again whenever he started to build momentum. He was getting good pops as a face in mid-99, they could have kept him as a kind of hero putting bad guys in their place, or turn him into a true monster heel. Instead we ended up with a tweener champion and his match at the PPV was clearly treated as not that important. Vince was probably a bigger face than Big Show right then. lol
No Giant Gonzalez? He's easily top 3 on this list. He was cool to watch, but very Khali-esque as far as ability. Great video, as usual 👍
Keep these top 10's circulating mah boiii
Fair play to the big show for been one of the few people to develop and become a great in thw wrestling world.
I liked kozlov, and felt he could have been a good heel, and an imposing figure, but just never clicked, sad 😢
I don’t understand how Luther Reigns can make the list over Jack Swagger. And Ronda is too big of a name not to push so that one makes no sense. I would add Kevin Owens and Nakamura. Both have horrible physiques and Nakamura failed to deliver in every feud they put him in.
Hard to believe Mabel, as Big Daddy V, was feuding with The Undertaker on WWE TV *13 years* after injuring him in their 1995 feud...
I think most of these guys could have had monster runs if booked right and WWE brass would actually listen to the fans.
I never liked Jack Swagger back then. He was a dork. Looking back now, The Great Khali could've been booked better. I'm surprised they never had him win the WWE Championship, he could've been the 1st Indian WWE Champion instead of Jinder, The Intercontinental Championship, ECW World Heavyweight Championship, & the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal match. They could've had him in more Pinjabi Prison Matches against guys like Kane, Umaga, Bobby Lashley, Mark Henry, & Big Show. It's too bad he didn't get to wrestle The Undertaker inside it. I'd have love to have seen Taker beat him at his own match For Mabel, in my mind, King Mabel, King Kong Bundy, & Ted Dibiase facing The Undertaker at Wrestlemania, & Taker Burying them, & Taker getting payback for Mabel injuring him. For Vladimir, They could've had him start off by winning the Intercontinental championship 1st. I was glad that Taker got revenge on Smackdown. For Ronda Rousey, maybe she could form a faction with Shayna Baszler & Sonia Deville & have someone manage & speak on their behalf for them. I was hoping that Drew McIntyre would've faced Jinder in a Punjabi Prison match at summerslam 2021 with Drew winning.
I like Ezekiel Jackson.
Disagree about Big Show, maybe too early for the first push but not beyond his merit. Everyone else on this list is spot on.
I’ve always been a fan of Swagger, not sure why, but he definitely was pushed before he was ready. He had pretty good technical wrestling abilities, he just needed to make it exciting. I thought pairing him with Colter was a really good idea though. He had potential, just didn’t work out.
Hard to believe they left Nash's reaction to nearly having his back crushed on the audio of every version of SummerSlam '95, from VHS to WWE Network...
I actually liked Mabel's push. I was 10 at that time and as a child watching I leaned towards more to the character work than the in ring action.
Here's my list 10. Heidenreich 9. "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey 8. Brodus Clay (2012) 7. Solo Sikoa 6. Eva Marie 5. Michael Cole 4. John Cena (Early 2010s) 3. Shane McMahon (2019) 2. Mabel 1. She definitely wasn't pushed for her talent. Vince love to push medicore talent. She managed to get worse in the 3 years after she quit. She immediately quit after wm35. Hard to blame her. She ruined what could've been a great main event at WM. Even though it should've been Asuka vs Becky vs. Ronda. The finish was changed too. She was originally supposed to tap out.
