@Ziad Khaled He didn't. Back in the early 2000s, the storyline goes that HHH accused Kane of killing his girlfriend in a car crash and had sex with her dead body, while Kane said it the crash was an accident. This angle lead to one of the most infamous moments in WWE: HHH entering a funeral home wearing a Kane mask, stripped down and stared to dry hump a supposed corpse. And yes, you can find it on KZread. Type in HHH Katie Vick funeral.

I hold fast to the theory that Brock was not supposed to win. He gave Undertaker a concussion and after the match it takes Taker a couple of tries to even stand. Paul Heyman (I know he's incredible) looks genuinely shocked. The referee said he didn't know that Brock was going to win, that's why the third count is slow. I think Brock did real damage, Taker couldn't kick, and the wwe is covering to save the Phenom's rep as well as their own. All these Taker decided to end it stories came way later. Considering the wwe has more leaks than the Titanic not one person tipped off that Lesner was going to break the streak? Hogwash

Personally I felt it was great giving the title for the first time to Mysterio and having them dedicate that win to his friend Guerrero, but then they dragged it right on and killed the pop of the angle stone dead. No doubt behind the scenes they kept feeling like they had to continue Eddie's legacy, keep his family in the spotlight and all that, but when Rey won the title they had done enough as that was great. But it went from being nice to being low rent crap, cuz they didn't end it right.

Brock or Bray were my only 2 choices to end the streak if they had to have it broken, Bray's new face of fear supernatural thing has gone south beyond repair with Taker winning all their major encounters but Lesnar is still a beast, which is good for whomever ends up beating him clean.

The Demon Of Hell And Darkness can't change the past though, With Bray being about as intimidating as somebody wearing a white sheet and saying boo these days there's no one who fills the supernatural threat void and that's a shame. Sting would of been great too but it's not like he would stuck around for the fallout as his remaining matches are numbered too and as we saw WWE just won't let him win in the end.

The Demon Of Hell And Darkness and I'm not saying that you are wrong, just that I was taking my picks from year to year options from when I started watching before WM29 because I can't change how things were booked before (not that I can now, but it feels different to pick fantasy booking between past and in that moment upcoming events xD). With Undertaker not getting any younger but still coming back the suspension of disbelief becomes harder and harder that nobody could end streak using raw power, even with all the respect in the world for his contribution. About Bray, I think they had struck something when he started using mind games against Reigns involving his daughter but unfortunately chickened out of it, and then did the whole harvesting of powers which went absolutely nowhere too, shame really. Wyatts are a lot like Big Show, they are only a threat when storyline demands for it and it could of been avoided, in my opinion at least.

Completely disagree with someone who walked out on the company after being given everything throughout 2002/2003, and working only part time while WWE suffers through its worst ratings since pre-Attitude era defeating the streak that involved legends like Shawn Michaels, Ric Flair, etc. Brock didn't need it, neither of them looked good because of it, and it was ultimately a publicity stunt that gained nothing at all, which is why it's in this video countdown.

Lesnar was always seen as a big tough badass but honestly him beating Taker is what made him what he is now. Before his match with Taker he was not seen as this level of scary unbeatable. Before his match with Taker we saw Lesnar face The Big Show at the Royal Rumble and instead of actually facing him he just beat him with chairs for awhile before leaving. Before that he had a little run in 2012 where he lost to Cena and Punk. Lesnar's current unbeatable presence is entirely because of him breaking the streak. I think it has paid off becuase without that we would not have the Lesnar we have now.

+Turk Aslan While I wouldn't say that I wanted Brock to beat the streak, I certainly didn't think it was the disaster that this video makes it out to be. The problem was in the setup and the match itself: 1. There wasn't any real reason for the two to be fighting. If memory serves, Brock was about to go away, having been denied a chance at the WWE title by the authority, when UT comes out to challenge him. It would have made a lot more sense for Brock (or rather Heyman) to say that if the Authority was going to deny Brock a chance at the title, then Brock would go after the only other thing that matters in the WWE--UT's streak. 2. With both guys being part time wrestlers, there was very little opportunity for interaction between the two in the buildup, and I can't remember any of their interactions being interesting. I do remember them having a pretty good pull-apart brawl, but I can't remember if it was during this buildup or during their 2015 feud. 3. The match itself was mediocre. Now that isn't entirely the WWE's fault as UT got injured earlier, but still a match that ends UT's WM streak should have been a classic, with UT doing everything he can to prevent it. The ending was simply anti-climactic. The reason I say this angle didn't backfire is that it gave Lesnar some credibility after two years of pretty bad booking, including losing his first match back against Cena--for no other reason than VKM's pettiness at Lesnar ditching the WWE in 2004 in the first place. Then there was the three matches against HHH, none of which were particularly noteworthy, not to mention booking him against Big Show. The only match in which Lesnar looked more like his old self and won was against CM Punk Beating the streak made Lesnar into an instant title contender and set the stage for him to destroy Cena at Summerslam 2014 (which is what he should have done two years prior), and become a dominant champion (as dominant as you can be when you are not on TV for four months).

Brock will always be a title contender even WITHOUT beating the streak. So what's the point of that? Plus, Undertaker's WM matches aren't burial grounds for talent. Even if you lose, you'll probably in a great match and will be ready for a push.

I like how it is a few years later, and #1 has paid off monstrously. Haha. Oh if Adam could see him now.

one that backfired is when McMahon got "blown" in that car but then Benoit dies in real life and Vince had to blow the story and address what happened to Benoit

i remember million dollar mania... i remember the first phone call Vince made the ring back was Rick Astley "never gonna give you up" and Mcmahon was just lost and fans and even the commentators were laughing... then he hung up on him prompting to call back XD

On the Stone Cold Podcast Show discusses his frequent turns (Which are over 30 now) and says that he basically does it to fill whatever roll is needed for a particular match. It doesn't suit the continuity of his character but it always means there's a big guy to fill space.
