Shout out to Scott Steiner, who despite being a multi-time World Champion and having two stints in WWF/E never had a _singles_ WrestleMania match, his only appearance being a tag match with his brother Rick at the oft-maligned WrestleMania IX.

Great tag team, but the gimmick had a pretty low ceiling, especially once they started to move in a more pg direction. During the attitude era they'd have had multiple title runs imo.

I wouldn't say Brian Pillman is underrated, as everyone that knows about him will always speak highly of him. I think it's more accurate to say he is unknown to many fans. He unfortunately passed away way too early before he could become a major star. No doubt Pillman's career in the Attitude era would have exploded. RIP indeed

Paul London and Brian Kendrick Were Entertaining On Smackdown loved their matches

What I really like is how the video voice over guy sounds completely genuine and authentic. He clearly isn't just putting on some ridiculously phony and completely over the top excited voice.

I’m actually not surprised Lanny Poffo never had a Wrestlemania match. He got several pushes during his run as Leaping Lanny but never managed to break through the lower midcard, and when he got involved in high profile storylines as The Genius it was always as a stooge for the main heel (usually Mr. Perfect).

Stevie Richards main evented Wrestlemania 2000 in the four way match against Triple H, The Rock and Mick Foley

I totally agree. Even the '90s tag team M.O.M(Men On A Mission), which consisted of Mabel(the soon to be rechristened Viscera with Undertaker's Ministry Of Darkness faction, followed by becoming WWECW's Mastodon in 2007, Big Daddy V🖖🏿) held the WWF tag team championship by accident, just to drop the titles, if I'm not mistaken, to The Quebecers(Pierre & Jacque). Even Chainsaw Charlie(Terry Funk) & Mick Foley as his Cactus Jack character held the WWF tag team championship for one day at WM 14, just to lose them the next night on Raw back to The New Age Outlaws(Road Dogg & Billy Gunn) in a cage match, which resulted in the formation of the new incarnation of D-Generation X known as the DX Army, in which the group were a babyface group for the first time & Triple H was the leader.

I vividly remember Monsoon putting Douglas over on commentary at the RR.

It's actually a disgrace that Jacqueline never got a Wrestlemania match. I heard a rumour that originally Jacqueline was supposed to enter Wrestlemania 2000 as Women's Champion and defend it in a Fatal Four Way against Tori, Ivory and Luna. Instead they had her drop the belt to Stephanie McMahon of all people on the Smackdown before WM and had The Kat and Terri have catfight at WM instead. They also could have easily made the Six Man Tag at Wrestlemania X-Seven into an 8 person Tag and have Jacqueline team with APA and Tazz against all four members of Right to Censor including Steven Richards. Both accompanied their respective teams anyway and it would've given both Jackie and Steven a WM match.

Why the fuck would you expect Stevie Richards or Spike Dudley to get a Mania match!? I guess this video idea came about before you did the research eh? Jesus, Crime Time? Of course Crime Time don't have a mania match, they were an undercard act for a very brief length of time, stop this vid immediately.

This was a decent list until Shane. The only place he got over was in ECW, because the talent level wasn't that good.

He was scheduled to have a match with Bam Bam Bigelow at Wrestlemania 9 but for some reason that match was cancelled. If you watch the Collesium video version of that event it mentions it at the end of the tape and shows Kamala with some elephants that were brought in as part of the whole "Roman" theme.

I mean. It’s not hard to figure out why most of these people never got matches.

He got buried by the Kliq. If they didn’t like you or they saw you as a threat, they’d go to Vince and get you buried. How did McMahon ever become a billionaire if he was that gullible? If those Kliq guys hadn’t left and HBK hadn’t bailed to deal with his addictions, WWF might not have rebounded. They were set to bury Austin and The Rock. But Bret Hart decided to work with them and help them get over and find their place in the company. Hart set WWF up for the Attitude Era. Unfortunately, he was rewarded by being sent to WCW, where they misused him terribly and Goldberg kicked him in the head because he couldn’t wrestle. But Shane was a casualty of the Kliq. So talented, but he didn’t get along with the politicians.

Shane Douglas was never a draw in wrestling. He was upset and said that the Kliq had backstage pull. But all the Kliq did was come up with ideas about things and didn't have the stand off type of meetings. Jim Ross said it best "When you go in there be conversational and don't confront him. If you are confrontational he will shut you out and can do without you." That says it best about little whiners like Shane Douglas, the late Bam Bam Bigelow, or any other people that complain about the Kliq.
