Tbf he was a star in All Japan. Ace is a dick and a douchebag yes man but he did have some good matches with guys like Misawa.
In order to put into context how badly Johnny Ace endangered Undertaker's life, you need to know that hepatitis C can be spread to others if the carrier's blood came into contact with someone's open wound, such as cuts or scratches. Had Undertaker accidentally cut himself during the match, and Bob Orton Jr's blood came into contact with any of the cuts or scratches, Taker himself may have gotten hepatitis C as a result. Plus, Johnny Ace already knew this, and not only sent out Bob Orton Jr anyway to bleed, but also fired the Cowboy rather than take responsibility for his own gaffe. You want a definition of gross incompetence, this is it.
I imagine Taker making a react video to this

Most of these, I feel like Taker was in the right tbh. But you gotta be either super evil or super immature to find a way to _not_ get along with DDP.
Little detail about the HBK thing. That wasn't his first run. His first run was in 1987 with Marty Jannety, two weeks after they were signed they got fired. They went back to AWA, then a year later they went back to WWE, hence their second run. Then HBK split from Janetty during this run. So when HBK returned in '02 that was his 3rd run.
Mabel was just terrible all around. But taker had no right being a dick to Dallas. That man is a treasure.
Undertaker 😈👍 He was awesome but his heat with DDP & Kanyon sucked
to be fair undertaker buried ddp which was messed up , undertaker had no right to do it and deserves the blame as much as I love undertaker and been watching wrestling since early 1990

Yeah, lots missing from this list, 😮💨.
The thing with Big Show and Undertaker is a bit more interesting than what was mentioned here. There's a bit more to it, also it involved Kane too.
Some of these are understandable, as I probably wouldn't want to work with someone who broke my face or bled on me while having Hep C, plus Shawn was a prick back then. But others, like getting mad that Jericho called him boring or that Duke Droese was too good or DDP, in general, don't paint him in a great light. Really, from what I have seen, he kind of stunk during the whole Invasion angle, mostly because he didn't like working with the WCW guys. Though, from what I have heard, the DDP/Savage style of mapping out each move in a match did rub others the wrong way too, so I guess it wasn't just Undertaker.

*Especially* with DDP
That was actually HBK's second run. The Rockers were fired once.
I would not have lasted long back then as I’m not one to keep my mouth shut. Especially if someone tells me that I’m working too hard and I should tone it down because they want to be lazy. Also, there are very few people who didn’t have heat with Vince Russo. Though as it would turn out, maybe he wasn’t the worst Vince at that company after all.

The thing with the "tone it down" is those guys who would go all out and put on a hell of a match, didn't wrestle nearly as often as the main eventers/guys who told them to turn it down

I would not make it in the business, I would not play their games.
Oddly, Jericho might’ve been the first step in Taker switching to Biker Taker. He did say he felt his character was becoming stale and not relating to the new era of fans at the time.
Correction, 0:58 Shawn Michael's 2nd WWF run, The Rockers got fired in 1987 and then returned a year later.
I sympathise with Matt Hardy. He must've been miserable toward the end of 2005.
The Jericho segment with Taker was actually golden when Taker said he got more shower time then Jericho did ring time and that if he ever interrupted his time again, that he'd pay the price. It was brilliant shooting that I get a kick out of because this was when Taker was hard on Big Show's ass about his ring performance.
Duke drose was actually my math teacher in elementary school at centertown elementary in mcminnville Tennessee he had to have one of his feet amputated and then got caught selling his prescription pain killers to an undercover cop and ended up doing some jail time now he works for drug court in the 31st judicial system of Tennessee
1:49 Surprised Cultaholic didn't insert a hawk among the "staunch defenders"
Man. Some of these make perfect sense, but there's a lot of pettiness here I didn't expect.
good video
DDP deserved better in the WWF.
Seriously if you hadn't put a Cornette's pic when you mentioned Russo's haters i would had instantly report you for misinformation..
JBL was always starting some mess. No wonder he was always untouchable in WWE. Being friends with Undertaker 🤣🤣🤣
That thumbnail 😂 legit every 90s kids nightmare
Laurinaitis never cared about the health of the boys. Never forget when he made Hardcore Holly work with a staph infection that got so bad doctors told him he needed an arm amputated. Bob was fine with working hurt as he always wanted to give back to the fans. So he put off his treatment. Then he found out Laurinaitis wanted him to put it off to work battle royales at house shows that he wasn't even winning. He made this man almost lose an arm because he needed an extra body in a battle royale.
11:06 Correction DDP is a 3 time WCW Champion.

I think he's using 'one-time' as a synonym for 'former' here.
Mabel didn't hurt him with a leg drop. He missed timed a clothesline and punched Taker in the eye. At least, that's how Undertaker tells it
Lol at John Laurentiis in the pic! The heart of Jim Cornette grew THREE TIMES BIGGER that day lolol
That was Shawn's 3rd WWF run
As a character, lotta love for the Undertaker but when you hear some of the stuff about him backstage he actually sounds a bit of an egotistical twat in a lot of the cases. The DDP one in particular was just petty as hell. Really no need for any of it.

Especially true about DDP. Goes for the attitude (no pun intended) of the rest of the Fed Locker Room towards WCW performers. Just proving Al Snow right about the industry being dominated by prima donnas.

ikr like seriously bro you were probably gonna utterly dominate anyway stop complaining
Thanks 🎉
DDP was gonna do the script thing with Hardcore Holly, so Holly avoided DDP the whole day until they got in the ring, and just called it in the ring. This resulted in a pretty good match. I think Holly went about it better. Instead of ripping the script up he just found a way to make a compromise. Holly was old school and always calls matches in the ring so he did that, albeit doing certain key spots DDP wanted, as to meet in the middle. Unfortunately DDP over rotated on a Superplex he was hitting Bob with and hurt himself badly. But the rest of the match was good.
the hardys damaging a rental car on the order of jbl is one of the funniest things i have heard all week xD
Undertaker has said that actually, it was a botched clothsline that caused the broken orbital bone, not the leg drop. Also, remember Mabel was only 20 or 21 at the time.
Of Course the Deadman would say he was up for more angles and storylines. Like the Undertaker of all people was going to openly admit to burn-out during the hottest growth period in wrestling history. He had just unlived through the New Generation Era, which nearly killed the company.
Dude wearing the same shirt in every video is wild
Taker said he got the injury from a corner smash, not a leg drop…….
The trouble with DDP, like most of the WCW guys that came straight over, was they didn't have any real plan for them. Plus I don't think DDP was ready to feud with Taker.
The Undertaker comes for us all someday....... even the Undertaker

10 Times The Undertaker Had HEAT With Himself...
The only positive thing I could say about John Laurinaitis is that he invented the cutter.
Say what you will but I can definitely see Taker's point of view (some of these) because he was tryna help/keep everything a float. Hardy HBK and Show especially
They bout to be shitting bricks
Off Topic...but I'm still having a hard time accepting that John Laurinaitus is the little brother of Road Warrior Animal.
The WWE locker room was a joke!!!
Honorable mention of people who had heat with Undertaker; CM Punk because he didn't want to dress up in suits.
Some of these are fair some of these aren't. Of course DDP was BS.
Shawn Michaels and undertaker had plenty of classic matches before there B2b wresle mania matches .
For Mabel get your facts right, it was a clothesline not a leg drop.
In regards to someone in the last 20 years to not have a bad word to say about Johnny Ace I'd have said the Bella Twins until the sex scandal came out.
Mike awesome hates taker too. Taker tried to bury him for no reason. Taker was jealous of mike
5:00 just sounds so petty
The undertaker was and still is the law in the locker room
6:08 Why? Just, WHY? 😂
The Duke?
Nice twenty second thumbnail...
The concept of the main eventers being upset at the undercarders putting on better matches than them is so strange to me. If you're in the main event, shouldn't you be able to put on better matches than the lower card wrestlers without having to tell them to limit their matches? Is Taker's ego so fragile that he can't handle being out performed by a garbage man?
Respect for The Dumpster
9:10 bruuuuh 😂 that's hilarious in retrospect. May Mr. Frazier continue to rest in peace.
I wonder no CM Punk there
Undertaker had a lot of issues with WCW guys. I remember on TV he gobbled Booker T through 99% of the match, lost to a fluke, kicked out at 3.1 and still destroyed him. Then there was that PPV match with Kurt Angle...
Kanyon seemed to have heat with Taker simply for being gay.

That guy
i only wtch for adam
Shawn returned a changed man
No Brock Lesnar, Goldberg, Hulk Hogan or CM Punk?
Wrestler’s obsession with acting tough is very bizarre considering their job is play fighting in their knickers. Psychologists would have a field day
Duke Droese was right, GET GOOD!, It's easy to become the champion it's harder to stay champion, same goes for the top spot, want to keep it, always get better, that Mindset Taker and Hbk had is why the top star always seems lazy in their matches.
You don’t have heat with taker … taker has heat with you
Man Matt Hardy taking his punishment like a boss renewed my respect for him. That and him likely to stop being a Young Bucks stooge.
The more I hear about the undertaker, the more it sounds like he was insecure and struggled to do business.

Yet most people state the contrary about the death man
The heat he had with Big Show I get. Taker saw how good he could be and wanted him to be. Show was probably egotistical at the time and thought "whatever" so Taker had to teach him a lesson. But it worked and Show realized Taker's toughness was coming from a good place and everyone was the better for it.
