She was probably doing too many other things. Movie roles and PR everywhere at the height of her career. Takes the head out of the game. Losing also damages the mindset, especially if you're highly critical about yourself to begin with. On the other hand, WWE might have been a good move for her anyway. There was probably some serious cash involved, less risk of injury and not as much time in the gym. Brock didn't seem to mind either.

Not really. Hendricks was seen as a beatable champ, good but not great. Askren however had the army of wannabe hardcores (who are really just anti UFC people) screaming on every forum that Ben was the top WW. He even had a slew of reporters outright or all but making the claim. UFC fighters were supposed to be being "protected" from Askren as the excuse his huggers would give for why he was not signed before going to One FC to get gimmie fights which his huggers used as even further ammunition that he is the best WW ever. To come in and almost get starched by Robbie then rolling that to a controversial win followed up by a matchup that should be tailor made for him ending in a 5 second KO to then be choked out by a +40 year old on the downside of his career..... If Rhonda had not had such a fantastical spiral with the media hype that came with it I would say Ben should be top of this list.

Not really. Lost in March of 2016 to Diaz, then avenged the loss in August and in November was fighting and beating Alvarez decisively. 2016 was a pretty good year for McTapper. 2018 was kind of bad for him, but a loss to Khabib happens to anyone, he wasn't radio silent like Ronda was, the MMA game didn't evolve past him, and when he finally returned (only to take yet another year off after taking zero damage) he looked like the best Conor against Cowboy. If you mean 2017 or 2019 that he was inactive or 2018 that his only fight was a loss, those years didn't affect him as much as 2016's Ronda
Hearing him talk about masvidal now, he could be on this list
Still makes me chuckle the whole Wandy was undersized thing. He weighed more than Cro Cop for that fight lol. Undersized for the whole tournament maybe, but he wasn't the light guy in the ring on that day. Nor did he appear to be carrying much fat or water weight. He was pretty damn lean.

I don’t remember Wheaties being “sugary” though. 😂

@@jasoncottier About 12 grams if you add only a cup of skim milk. But it's likely if you're eating Wheaties one would be adding bananas or berries of some sort. Even then that would still be slightly less or equal to a single soda I'd imagine.
Pls do best strikers in ufc history , would love that
When that guitar rift hits in the beginning of each vid you know shits about to go down.
A bad year, yeah yeah... How about a bad decade? *cough* BJ Penn *cough*
In the end Rhonda deserves a lot of credit she really put woman’s MMA on the map she had a great run but there is shelf life in this sport .

Crazy how so many of them were undefeated and could never recover when they finally lost just once.

I think because at the time it was more important for the UFC to build a division around her and get a name in peoples mouths than to try and push female fighting into the mainstream with no household name. The way it played out was perfect, WWE couldn't have written a better or more engaging story. An unbeatable force stopped so suddenly and sent into a tailspin only to try and regain their stature, all while wondering who can top the woman that beat the Goliath
Wheaties maybe has 5g of sugar bro
Can someone explain to me how can you miss weight ins? What is the point to do it when you know that you over or under? To hope that scales will malfunction or what?
