The Caddy sure is a funny looking gasser.
2 classic body styles here 39-41 Willys coupes/pick-ups and 51-53 Henry J . I used to see 'em both in drag races on tv in the 60s-70s when on wide world of sports and saw stock versions at car shows growing up in the northeast

My favorite gassers are the Post war cars from 46-54, IMO you just can't beat an old Henry J or Bullet nose Stude with it's nose in the air. Those cars started it all, not just in Gassers but serious drag racing period.

Alabama is rural and lots of cars/Trucks in yards or barns. Found a 1925 Chevy car last WK. They are cheap sometimes 😊

My favorite gasser was a 55 chevy 150 delux. Monogram model kits were once available for them. One of my teachers in high school had a burgundy colored one i dreamed about for many years. It ran a 327 chevy bored 60 over with a BDS blower. It ooozed cool. The model kit was and still is a favorite. ❤

Tri-five chevys are my favorite platform for gassers and obviously the 57 at the beginning was my favorite in this list!

To me the definition of gasser is a Willys in no. 1 position. Position 2, ‘40 Chevy. Position 3 Falcon. Good stuff I love gassers. The more unconventional the better.
My favorite gasser car...Its a no brainer, its a Blown 57 Chevy Gasser like the one I've owned for almost 50 years.

The Yellow Nova on the beginning is my friend Dan from NJ. He street drives it and races it regularly. We been racing in a gasser club since 2005
Built a 1948 Plymouth Gasser (Orange Monster) back in 2016 with a 413 c.i. engine, 727 trans with 3.91 gears, it ran a best e.t. of 13.13 at 106 mph, sold it in 2021. Currently working on a 1948 Dodge Gasser (Y-NOT) that will have a a 440 c.i. engine, tunnel ram with dual quads, 4 speed trans, Ford 9" rear axle with 3.70 gears... It's A Mopar Thing..... Understand?

My dad had a 41 willows gasser in Indiana he ran it in the 60s when we moved to Oklahoma in 1971 someone took it from my uncles farm car was never seen again 😢
