Oooh, by the Christ Jesus, my dad back in the 70's had a buick sport wagon with a vista dome! Im not lying, even my neighbors remembered that rootbeer matalic beast of a car that only had a 300ci v8. I want this Buick!

We had either a 1965 or 1966 Mercury Park Lane. Green exterior, with matching green interior; featuring green leather seats, headliner, carpeting, dashboard, including a green steering wheel. I thought it was a beautiful car. That model and design, began my attraction to cars!

Barrett-Jackson destroyed the car industry as far as the prices go..Back in the days you can pick up basically any car-truck any Motorhead car anything out there used for under $5,000 tops.. I sold my 67 GTO 400 motor 4 Barrel in perfect condition-$1,000 Dollars.. 1970 Mustang Fastback put a new engine new transmission rear, tires and rims sold that for $2,500..You could pick up any car or truck you wanted dirt cheap- drive it around for a year sell it pick up another car..The only two Motorhead cars I keep in the garage are two-1963 split window Corvettes-427 motors 4- Speed they are both in pristine condition like they came off the dealership floor.. I picked them up in 1987 for $12,000 each..The one is completely stock the other one has over 1,000 horsepower coming out of the hood..In the 80's I picked up three Motorhead cars from my neighbor 69 Chevelle SS 396..$1,000.. 1966 Chevelle Malibu convertible-V-8-$350 dollars a 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass with the rocket engine it looked good ran good it was just an ugly color.Pea Green.$50-Bucks.. picking up cars like that that cheap them days are long gone.. looking at the prices now I should have kept them all in a temperature controlled Warehouse I'd be a multi-millionaire selling them all now..I'd say I went through between 200 to 300 cars and trucks..Some I would pick up cheap do a little bit of work to them and then sell them a week later..Buy them cheap sell them cheap..Was the way to go..😳👍

Back in 2004 I had to move across several state lines na desired to sell the last 3 remaining classic autos. One was a 64 Merc Super Marauder 2 dr hdtp. I had won several trophies w/ this Merc. It was a 1 owner when I purcahesd it, I changed color to a GM "blue green"/ had frt bucket seats reupolhstered in orig peacock leatherette. Had orig 3 bar spin Merc hubs / 390 /4brl/ 3 spd ctr console trnas. / dual exhaust. rechromed bumpers Sold it for 8500usd along w/ mant manuals na all trophies. I think the Merc still be in east central Alabama.

Interesting fact 59, 60 Canadian Pontiacs used chevy frames chevy engines power glides . notice the rear wheels are set in, a us spec Pontiac with its "wide trac " why this was done no clue , lot of world wide export cars came out of the Canadian gm plants
