I miss the Red Mist Easter egg in Randomland. I know it was pretty scary for the kids to see, but you got to hand it to them for having the guts to put that in for a few showings at least.

If you’ll notice, Cuddle E. Hugs was voiced by the same guy who played Murray Goldberg in Columbia and Sony Pictures Television’s The Goldbergs, and the Captain in Walt Disney and Pixar’s _WALL-E_ .

Spongebob in Randomland is a Kaz comic brought to life (he is the writer of many of the latest seasons so it makes sense to have an episode like this) There are so many references and cameos of his weird comic characters in this episode and it's just awesome. Also in 21:21 if you look closely on the top of the board you'll see his name written there (K=az²)

Red Mist Squidward was supposed to be behind one of the doors in random land but unfortunately they had to replace that clip because it was considered too scary for kids :(

It amazes me how even after 20 years, SpongeBob still manages to find unique and Unpredictable concepts for so many episodes.

21:43. This is the best line delivery ever! The dark tone, the alien sound effect, how serious Mr. Krabbs tries to sound while saying something completely silly, it all accumulates in a line that amazes anyone who sees it. I cannot decide whether to be in awe or just start laughing out loud. I guess I will do both. Good video by the way.

I remember while watching “Cuddle E Hugs” my sister said it is an “Acid Trip”

To be honest, Randomland is a masterpiece episode in my opinion.

My theory being that “SpongeBob in RandomLand” was based on an episode of Warner Bros’ Looney Tunes called “Porky in WackyLand” (1938).

In Karen’s Virus I’m pretty sure her image of Squidward is supposed to resemble a Blobfish.

I love how Spongebob gets progressively weirder. Even the movies (which have always been specially weird) get more absurd each time.

I love the really weird episodes because they are so creative

The race is so wacky. I cried myself out. (It has an adult joke on it... I forgot the literal speech but it has something to do that Patrick only wants SpongeBob to ride him. I literally want to put the TV off because I don't want my brother to know the humor on it...)

Randomland reminds me of early 90s Nickelodeon - the art style for a lot of it fits

Gary's got legs was so wrong in every imaginable way. Especially because there is no Arc throughout the episode. As soon as Krabs rios the limbs off of Gary he turns back into how he was. It really put a blight on Gary's character in my opinion. It makes you think Gary literally doesn't care about SpongeBob at all and it's frightening and sad in the same way xD

Did you know that when “Spongebob in Randomland” first aired, when Spongey and Squidward gat to the area with many doors, a cameo of the creepypasta “Red Mist” showed? But of course, they had to remove that because it was too scary for its young audience.

Not a full episode but there's a part in one where Spongebob puts his nose on a leash and it yanks him out of the Krusty Krab and this couple sees and the guy goes "See? I told you this town was pet friendly" and the girl pulls out a leash and collar and asks "walkies?" And then he gets on all fours and she puts the collar on him and walks him. Edit : The episode is "the ballad of Filthy Muck"

I heard Psychicpebbles did the storyboards for certain modern episodes, which that can explain the over the top animation

I actually love the Trash episode. It’s just refreshing because it’s not mind numbing or dumbed down for kids. Plus the animation team killed it with the garbage truck transformation. Trust me when I say it was animated amazingly.

The music that was done in dream hoppers and random land was by Jean Jacques Perrey, for those who are curious.

Does anyone else think that these newer SpongeBob episodes are far too overly-animated? ‘Cause I really cannot get used to it.

Yes! I think that's mostly my biggest problem with the new seasons. They focus on being too "cooky and experiemental!!" without making jokes that are actually funny. granted better and flexible animation is always a good thing, but too much of a good thing can become a bad thing, to the point where every scene feels like they're being overused.

Doodlebob came back! I actually really love that they seem to bring back old background characters, characters that appeared for a few episodes in the first few seasons, or Mrs puff and Mr Krabs being together. Modern SpongeBob seems to be very interesting and very creative, and this video helped me realize that. I actually giggled a few times when watching this video, seeing the way they decide to take things in an episode.

500,000 subscribers? I didn't know, but congratulations Strider! And hearing that old closing theme from your past videos is so nostalgic.

@@aralesystem6344 who can blame him? I watched a bit of Fairly Odd Parents. I was a preteen when the show debuted. I never liked it. I always changed the channel when I got the opportunity. I kinda liked earlier season 1 episodes of Danny Phantom but I didn’t like any of the other shows that what’s his name made. TUFF Puppy was just a massive disappointment... There’s way too many poorly made comedies on Nick trying to be the next Ren and Stimpy when Ren and Stimpy, while ground breaking in many ways, is not that great. So there’s all these shows trying to model after a show and somehow either not making a lasting impression and being forgotten (Mighty B and Cat-scratch) or being so terrible that it goes down in infamy (Bread Winners and Fanboy and Chum Chum). Meanwhile where are the successors to other genres like the story driven anime clone like Avatar and its divisive sequel Korra.

Fun fact:MY friend told me that the freal friends episode was there a unused scene where a fisherman get all the animals and in the restaurant the chef tried to Cook squidward larry mr krabs

If there was a list of darkest Disney JR. shows it would be filled to the brim with Lion Guard, Elaina of Avalor, Sofia the First, and also an episode of Bluey (the one in which Bingo is suffering from nightmares).

I'm gonna be very honest....I haven't watched Spongebob in a good while. I had heard that modern Spongebob was bad but never actually saw reviews for them on why. This list honestly made me curious on whether it was all nastolgia bias or not since I found all these episodes interesting(even the ones he said were bad). I think modern Spongebob is doing fine personally. It's probably doesn't have everything the older seasons has but it's not downright shite as everyone's making out to be.

I seemed to notice that most people that hate the modern seasons are people that have not watch it and ofc making assumptions thinking that it's bad or judge by one clip. Ofc there are some ppl that have watched the newer episodes and still hate it but those ppl are not that many tbh and fun fact the ratings of newer seasons are actually quite high despite it may seemed like it is getting a bunch of hate
