I have to say but they are cuties when they are pups

The lady at my mom's job breeds Yorkie pups and my mom talked to her about getting me one. They were having trouble finding a female dog to breed with Simon (her dog) but the recently found one! So now I just have to play the waiting game.

My suggestion would be to find a dog who is from a shelter who needs a home. I have heard they can make wonderful emotional/support dogs for people. Best of luck.

Hi i have a few questions i wanna hear from someone who’s more experienced then me, where do you keep your yorkie when you have to go to school/college/work? I feel that play pen’s are too expensive where I live, but I don’t want to trap it in a crate for 4 hours. I’m planning on getting one soon, but i’m just trying to do as much research as possible as I don’t want to do anything wrong or that will harm the puppy. I’m afraid to use PEE PADS as the puppy may mistaken a carpet for it’s PEE pad, so should i get artificial grass instead? And is it Okay to leave the puppy in a large garden that is fenced while I am busy? Please could you tell me your schedule with your pup with feeding it, getting it out to play ect, THANKS!

@@Hello-ke4xl people steal dogs out of Backyards so you have to make sure it’s really secure. You could have a room she can run freely to keep her in have the room set up for her With Pee Pads trust me Pee Pads will save you and your dog a lot of pain and sorrow The dog loves to pee on carpets but that doesn’t mean pee pads aren’t a good idea. It’s best that they have an option especially if you leaving the dog for hours. What state are you in? Each dog is different

@@Hello-ke4xl also if left in the back yard they can be exposed to Birds of Prey and Coyotes. So really be careful. My dog was attacked by a coyote.

There are PLENTY of dogs of all breeds that need good homes and are available through ADOPTION and rescue groups. Please don't think that because you're getting a dog from one of those methods, that you're getting a "second hand dog".... On another note, if you can't or won't pay "all that money" for a dog, you might want to reconsider getting a dog altogether..... dogs are absolutely a lifetime commitment and once that cute puppy dog phase wears off, you're left with something that's your responsibility to care for for the next 12-15 years. Bathing and grooming, the expense of QUALITY dog food (it's NOT cheap) and REGULAR and proper vet care. We have two dogs. A yorkie who was purchased from a breeder and a 10 year old Maltese puppy mill survivor. Our yorkie has severe allergies and over the years for immunosuppressive therapy, medications and vet visits, separate from the typical wellness exams have cost thousands if not ten thousand range and up. If you on the fence about a dog because of price please reconsider and ask yourself why...

sarah alvarez this is off topic but purebred dogs last shorter than mixed ones. I have a lab and he is mixed, still going at 14 and most labs die at 10. And by saying to "go adopt" a dog instead of having one bred, that's like saying don't screw around and get pregnant, go adopt a kid.

Manrique Molina I remember I had one, thing is when some stranger would arrive it'd bark, BUT this dog was such a scaredy cat it'd run away, hence why we called it MR COOCH

I had one of these shit breeds and it was the most annoying piece of shit dog ever it stank like mung and it ate my flashlight and a tire. it also ate a pin and some rubberbands.

These little ones are like children. You are supposed to keep those items out of reach so they don't get them and eat them and hurt themselves. Even larger breeds eat things they should not. As far as the smell, there is something called a "bath". If their breath smells, there is something you can do for that, it's called "brushing their teeth". Before bringing a yorkie puppy into your home you need to educate yourself on the personality and the specific needs of these little loving wonderful dogs.

Yeah I have three Yorkies... one is a micro. They are so cute. He's 2.4lbs. Can't stand the Yorkie heat then get outta the kitchen. They're high maintenance.... u don't have the money, better think twice too
