    1. Stop being afraid of using heat. Learn to use it correctly. Always use heat protection and wait 3 days between applying heat. 2. Overnight protection. Tie up in loose bun in invisibobble / silk scrunchie OR wear a silk bonnet 3. Match hair product to hair type. NB differentiate between hair type vs hair pattern. 4. Don't cheap out on the basics (shampoo and conditioner). 5. Stick with proven products. Most people are actually using their products incorrectly - update your knowledge of application. 6. Learn how to shampoo correctly. 7. Wash TWICE. wait as long as possible between washes. Apply shampoo ONLY to scalp. 8. Professional shampoo =/= drugstore shampoo. 9. Use LESS product after your shower. There is more detail in the video but this is what I got out of it. Major point is to identify the CORRECT product for your hair type and apply it correctly is 90% of the solution

And then, it just makes me happy that he is consistent with both his wig and character while wearing forementioned wig.

If you’re air drying your hair, just put it on after the leave in conditioner. And no you don’t wash off leave in conditioner, that’s why it’s called leave in. Put a bit of it on after the shower when your hair is still damp and brush it through. Then style it, then apply oil. Go about your day

    I’ve already just lost my breasts due to Cancer, and I am desperately trying to hang on to my waist length fragile hair. I can’t afford bad hair advice, so thank you for always giving consistent educated and helpful advice, especially because of the ironic and hilarious story below about another influencer that happened this week… So, this is a hilariously timed video because about a week ago an “influencer” who I’ve been following for over a year who does not possess any sort of degree or professional knowledge of hair, yet has a hair care channel, posted a video in which she did a 180 and completely and utterly contradicted everything she’s said in the past about products and hair care. She spent a few years telling people that brands like pureology, and other top end brands were the only shampoo and conditioner that not only had the proper pH levels, but also had the proper science and ingredients to truly take care of your hair. Then suddenly she posts a video last week about how Pantene is fantastic shampoo and conditioner, and pointing out that it has the same ingredients as the top end brands, and showing how beautiful and healthy it has made her hair after weeks of using it. I was shocked and confused. And naturally half of her followers were overjoyed to save so much money and rushed right out to purchase Pantene. I posted a fairly polite comment, pointing out my confusion with this obvious contradiction, and referencing some of the scientific facts she’s pointed out in other videos that she completely contradicted in this one, and attempted to ask why there was such a drastic change in her haircare advice. Quite a few people felt the same way I did. She obviously didn’t respond, but plenty of her “fans” attacked me for questioning her which I found appalling. Because how dare I ask her why she completely changed her mind about what she claimed was scientifically proven hair advice, which she also claimed fixed her own hair by the way, Lol. I even had one woman completely misunderstand something I said, and responded with a sarcastic comment about my current cancer treatment I’m enduring. I just don’t understand how you put a complete stranger from KZread on a pedestal and take everything they say as gospel, attack anyone who questions them, all while their source of information is google. Which is why I no longer follow influencers, and stick to professionals with licenses and degrees in chemistry and such. I know this was long and you likely didn’t read it, which I understand 😂. However, I wanted to thank you, because you already saved my waist length, hair once when that same influencer recommended a cheap product that caused further damage to my weak hair, and the Olaplex oil saved it. And now I come here again, and you coincidentally confirm my suspicion that no, Pantene is not a phenomenal healthy hair product. Lol. I completely understand that these people need to make their living off of KZread, but come on.

  • @roselynmvm

    @roselynmvm

    Жыл бұрын

    Let me guess who that influencer is…Uhmm…Lol. I stopped following her already a few months ago and only watched once in a while until I saw her video against Olaplex which was literally a line that she has been pushing for years but wasn’t trendy anymore to do so, so then she had to jump in the wagon to keep her popularity. I understand influencers need to make money but she has gone too far. The Pantene video pop up on my feed and I was utterly shocked. Definitely people should be careful who they listen too. Although not everyone is 100% right at all times, still, there is a line that shouldn’t be crossed. Plain lying for money is just garbage. Hope you’re feeling better :)

  • @vanbriannemodel

    @vanbriannemodel

    Жыл бұрын

    @@roselynmvm 🤣 hahaha! Omg, I’m so glad someone else sees it. I saw that video on Olaplex too, she bounces all over the place. Doesn’t reek of sponsorships at all. And you’re right, she just follows what people want to hear. But before when she would do “dupes” she would always say that if you really wanted the best result you had to stick with the high end products which is what the science shows. And she’s done some sketchy videos here and there that have annoyed me, but this Pantene video was like WHAT??!! And of course half her followers run right out and buy it and those of us who raise their hand and go “but you said….” are treated like some evil monstrous bully that’s picking on her (which she depends on, so she doesn’t have to explain herself). Umm no folks, I just happen to expect a bit of integrity. But she was working at target when she started her KZread channel and now that she’s able to make a comfortable living off of it people don’t understand that in order to keep doing that you have to have paid sponsorships. So I totally agree with you that it’s one big lie for a paycheck. I’m done with these so-called “influencers”. Then she got really upset because she said she was almost cancelled on TikTok so she came back to KZread and did a video complaining about it and how mean people are to her, and literally said that she’s such a nice and genuine person. It reminded me of those guys that go around saying “I don’t understand why women don’t like me! I’m a nice guy!!!” 😂 yeah, if that were true, you wouldn’t have to keep trying to convince people (then have to post a 30 minute video crying about it specifically so 100 people will say “I’m so sorry I love you” in the comment section 🙄). Granted, social media is a vicious place, but those of us with a brain can see through bullshit. And what annoys me more than people like her are the sheep that follow and support people like her, no questions asked. One woman essentially mocked me having cancer. Whoa dude lol. Glad at least we both possess the intelligence to finally unsubscribe. I’m on the hunt for more serious hair experts now. Any recommendations? And thanks for the kind words. I’m in the middle of reconstruction and having some complications, but pushing through. But that’s totally not as bad as someone being mean to her on TikTok 😐🤣.

    I'm not normally one to comment on videos, but I just want to thank you! I have pretty thick wavy/curly hair and it's generally pretty unmanageable. I normally have an absurd amount of frizz and my hair has never felt as soft or silky as many of my friends with straight hair (whether or not they take good care of their hair). I've recently started taking care of my hair not by what is most popular or everyone says they love, but rather what is good for my own hair, and what feels best for me. I started using the trinity hair routine and my hair has never felt better! My hair can now AIR DRY without frizz, which to me is insane. It's feeling softer and silkier and I really have grown to like my hair, and I believe it's because of this channel! So seriously, thanks.

    Thank you, Chris. I am really grateful to have found you and your solid hair care advice. It's only been a month and I am happy with my hair now. Things I have implemented - shampoo and conditioning once in 4-5days, once a week hair mask, weekly cleaning of my hair brush and scrunchies, regular leave-in conditioner, regular oiling of the hair ends, and no more tumble drying of hair. The results so far- less hair fall, negligible tangles, my hair has become manageable and a lot less dry than it used to be. Wondering if you have any advice for premature grey hair? It's another major problem I struggle with and don't know what to do. It's mostly new grey hair on the forehead. I want to fix the real problem and don't want to rely on root touch-ups or coloring. 🙏 Please

    Speaking as a long time follower who really listens to what you have to say, I would like to say that after all the changes and one's hair still isn't improving.. there is a 4th option as to why: your body. I had to go get my blood work done SPECIFICALLY asking about iron levels and other things (bc basic blood work they do does NOT tell the full story). I learned that I do not absorb a lot of things that FEED hair. So in addition to buying all the things listed, using them as modeled AND giving it over a year... finally I am now taking supplements to help feed my hair to right the absorption problem I was having. And a lot of women do not know this about themselves bc basic blood work isn't cutting it. You need to ask about ferritin levels. Female: 12 to 150 ng/mL I was at an 8. And 12 might be the start of that spectrum, but I was told to be feeding hair (bc your body feeds it last) you should be somewhere above 30-50. So, I would like to let all of you know struggling with hair after listening to Blowout Professor (bc he KNOWS what he is talking about but isn't a dietician/or doctor), go see a doctor and ask about these levels specifically. Thank you Blowout Professor bc without trying everything you teach, I didn't know to look inside myself for the reason my hair just keeps breaking.

    After 1 year of my hair breaking off and me trying to fix it and getting so demotivated because nothing seemed to work, I stumbled across your page. Now 6 months later, I’ve watched all your video’s and listened to your advice and my hair has grown 5cm (2 inches) already!! I know it doesn’t sound like a crazy number, but to me it means so much.. I am now on the right track, my brush is not full of broken hairstrands anymore and from now on it just takes time and patience to grow my hair back the way it used to be. You’ve helped me build my confidence back, thank you Chris ❤️

    @@ccmjd2132I started off switching to different products and not using too much (I thought more was better because I was so desperate at first haha, so I would use olaplex nr 3 + a deep conditioning mask + too much leave in conditioner and olaplex nr 9 which made my hair weigh down and made it greasy very quick). I also switched to a different hair brush (wet brush) and began brushing my hair gently (!!) in sections working down to up. I sleep with my hair up in a loose bun as most breakage and broken ends in my case come from rubbing my hair against the sheets at night and I brush it and use Some Kerastase elixir oil before I go to bed. The next morning I again brush my hair very gently and if I have any dents because of the silk scrunchy (I have very fine hair) i wet my wet brush a little bit and wet my hair and let it airdry so the dents are gone. I am going to buy a silk bonnet however because I think it’s better. Then I wait at least three days to wash it again (and yes thanks to Chris I found out it’s possible hahaha, aka two washes and rub the shampoo between your hands before putting it on your scalp) and If I want to curl my hair I will sleep with those curling robes so I don’t have to use any heat. I now use Redken Volumizing Shampoo and conditioner, K18 as a bond building mask, Pureology leave in conditioner spray and i top it off with some hair oil on my mids and ends.

    I did a few things that really improved my hair. I switched to Moroccan oil products. My hair loves it. I bought a Leifen hair dryer, wich is so much less damaging than my old, older technology hair dryer. It’s such a difference! I bought silk pillow cases and put my hair up for sleeping. My hair got very damaged at my mid lengths after being on pregnancy bedrest for many months, to save my baby ,trendelenburg position) That was so bad for my hair, specially since pregnant, you’re supposed to only be on your sides, preferably left side, so my hair constantly rubbed against the pillow in that area. Now it’s growing back much healthier and already grew a couple inches in a quite short time. I use heat twice a week now, instead of daily and now my hair holds a curl etc. I also started K18 and it absolutely saved me from a big chop. After three months, the breakage is almost gone, my hair is stronger and healthier. I love it.

    Thank you thank you thank you. I’ve always had “healthy” hair. I don’t get a lot of damage. It’s low maintenance medium straight. But I always washed every day or I would get the oil build up and then air dried because my hair was otherwise too dry from so many washes. I’ve since taken your advice… ALL of it.. and I’m now going 3 days between washes. I can’t decide if I love my hair more right after a wash or 3 days later with all the natural oil. It actually feels healthier than ever. Im still learning the techniques of the blow dry brush but I think I’ve been doing pretty well. Pretty soon I’m going to experiment with curling. I never could get my hair to curl but you’ve been right about everything else so I’m ready to try. My niece touched my hair the other day and said “WOW! Your hair is SO soft!!” I didn’t tell her I had been trying something new. And both my nieces said my hair was like doll hair. Such a wonderful comment from two young ladies with youthful, beautiful hair. I can’t wait to pass on your advice to them. ❤

    Thank you for saying the obvious regarding hair pattern/type. I had AMAZING curly hair and was taking care of it for 38 years before the "natural hair" trend started. I always bought products for my mixed hair (oily scalp and normal hair) and my curls were beautiful. Then, Deva and its "products for curly hair" happened and people fell for it. Suddenly, you had a whole pool of NEW brands... and influencers to match... telling people they needed to buy products "made for curly hair". Then, products and techniques started failing because the hair type was never considered. I am a chemist, so I shouldn't, but even I fell for it... and destroyed my curls/scalp... and had to spent a pretty penny to recover it. I am now back to my old routine and my hair is happy. And there is very few "products for curly hair" in my products. It seems the new trend for brands is to sell products for dry, porous, fine curly hair or dry, porous, medium/coarse curly hair or... or... or... at least in my country. They keep widening the market and lying to people. Only in my country women are back straightening their hair due to this caos.😂 I tell them to identify their hair type and roll with it. Forget the whole "product for curly hair". By the way, love your sister.😂 By the way 2.0: It is incredible how Redken doesn't bring the goods to Brazil: the volume shampoo/conditioner, big blowout and the heat spray ain't available here.

    Are there any hair types that get oily fast even after following all these steps, or should this work for everyone?

    People with oily dandruff are the exception. This can fix dry dandruff, but oily dandruff is a medical condition and the best solution is to wash daily with a medicated shampoo. Other than that, I would be shocked if this didn't work for someone. It's solid advice.
