Hi, I’m a brand new subscriber, and I am really into Aviation, and flying. I am only 13, and all I want to do is start school to be a pilot. My overall dream is to become and international Airline pilot, or a pilot for a place like Fedex. This is the first channel that I have found that is good quality, and has GREAT information about aviation. Thanks a lot for making such great videos, they really make me what to get my license and start my Career!

Forgive my ignorance, I'm only at the point of "wanting" to start Flight/Ground school. Is this time of year the only time people can take their checkride? I was a bit taken back by the beginning of your video when this was insinuated. Just curious that if I start school within the next 6 mos. will I have to wait until this time of year next year or perhaps this time of year in two years before I'm allowed to do my checkride? Thanks in advance for any information.

Hi 99GTsleeper! The opener was just a bit of Halloween fun! You can take your checkride whenever you finish your flight training. You’ll just need to pass the written test, have the proper amount of hours flown, and receive an endorsement from your flight instructor. Different pilot licenses require different things for eligibility, but once those are met you can schedule your checkride at anytime! Thanks for watching!

Thanks so much for responding back so quickly. I kinda figured that was the way it was but got confused after watching this latest video. Thanks so much for the great videos, channels like yours is what keeps me motivated to moving toward my goal of entering the aviation world. My only regret is that I wasn't introduced to aviation until I was much older and only wish that I could have started this journey much sooner. But none the less, my passion and excitement grow and motivate me to move forward each and every day and channels like yours plays a large part in that passion and excitement. Please keep them coming! Hope you all had a Happy Halloween!!!!
