I take exception with one point you made about being absent. Statistically we know that careers which take men away from home frequently have a substantially higher infidelity and divorce rate. Absence is a two edged sword. I suggest being present frequently is good but when your present be all the other things Rich Cooper mentions. When your present be in a state of meeting her emotional needs for conversation, affection (non-sexual signs and symbols of your care for her), a sounding board, understanding, entertaining/interesting, and the like. A person whos great to be around all the time is immensely valuable in her life. Its important for a man who is around all the time to fight his nature in terms of getting lazzy in the above areas of life that attracted her to you in the first place. A guy doesnt have to fight his lazy nature if he is around only once in a while becasue he will subconciously/naturally be on his best behavior for the relatively short amounts of time he is around her.

1 - Be irreplaceable, be her best option, don't be boring. 2 - Be absent, don't smother her. Scarcity = value. 3 - Be strong, fit, and lethal. 4 - Be a gentleman and an asshole at the same time. Be kind but not a "nice guy". 5 - Be captivating, don't be insignificant, have things going on. 6 - Rock her world in the sack. 7 - Do not live together. Avoid becoming familiar and common. Maintain distance. 8 - Put a dent in the universe. Avoid making her the center of your universe. 9 - Be attractive, don't be unattractive. Be someone men want to be and women want to be with. 10 - Let her know that she is replaceable, have options in terms of women. Don't be desperate.

Wife shit tested me the other day; we both woke up one morning and I went to piss and I came back to the bedroom room and wife says in a judgmental tone “you didn’t even make us coffee” I said “nope, that’s your job.” I walked away and acted as if nothing happened. Nothing happened; she got up and went to make coffee and we had a normal happy day. In the past I would have gotten pissed leading to mutual silent treatment or go make the coffee for her with resentment. Read Rich’s book; all of this is in there; great stuff… I am finding my wife likes me more; I’m getting my respect back slowly but surely. Thanks Rich.

My wife and i have been together for almost 20 years (we met in college) and have lived together for 15 years. We're still infatuated, have a lot of sex (3-4 times a week, she initiates most of the time), and have 2 elementary aged kids. The only secrets i can think of are: 1) She was an 18 year old virgin when we met, so ive imprinted on her 2) i didnt have a ton of partners myself. I had only been with 3 other girls when we met. 3) We both come from married families where marriage is the norm amongst all family members 4) We damn near grew up together, so we have a ton of shared experiences 5) We both go to the gym 4-5 times a week and take health and looking good for the other person very seriously 6) She's not a unicorn, because she can definitely be subject to female nature. But she's weirdly not into social media, not into constantly getting attention/validation from other people, isn't into drama (aside from reality shows), and she isnt a feminist either. Our relationship isn't perfect, and we've had our spats and disagreements and tough times, but we prioritize our marriage and work on it. We've changed and evolved as individuals and as a team, but we accept each others faults. And again, we have way more sex (that SHE usually initiates) than any of my friends who are married or living with a girl.

She's one of those women that never really had to- slim curvey petite. To address hypergamous, she's a Dr. We both went to college, make about the same income, live comfortably, nothing extravagant, and we're both frugal. She's a 7/8 on the crazy/hot matrix but what attracted me to her other than that was she could hold a sophisticated conversation and had similar values/beliefs. My ex was a high maintenance crazy/hot 9 lol. We're both first born so she does have a little alpha in her but is submissive with me. We're both independent in our own ways and that allows us to be ourselves in our relationship. I do my thing, she does hers, then we come together for each other. It's worked out quite well. Hope that answers your questions.

Married men are screwed cause women can cheat, be violent, take half your shit. Then get a new dick and now that asshole is with my kids more then me.

But why does everybody assume that marriage/partnership is so wonderful when vast numbers of them end up in breakups with all the financial/family mess that brings with it? You know there's some super good points and some real solid advice here. And I'd also say that some of it applies some of the time. Dynamics of a relationship change as you progress and have kids and have been happy together for ten years or so. That don't mean you can be complacent, but what a first year wife expects from her husband is wildly different ten years later. Expectation and the way it's fulfilled evolves. But this really isn't for folks that have solid families, it's for guys that haven't been able to find or sustain that so I get it.

I'm one of the rare happily married guys, and you're absolutely right, being absent and a little distant is key. A couple times a year I'll duck out for a couple months and go to another country by myself and work. And while I'm home with her, I'm so busy that there are several days a week where we may just have dinner and a few drinks, otherwise it's do my own thing. Honestly, men should be too busy anyway to hang out with their wife everyday in the house. You should have a life so busy that you simply don't have the time for her. Then when we do hang out, go golfing, go traveling, it's amazing. Most men just don't have much going on in their lives, and their wife ends up seeing him as a burden. She gets to the point like, why is this guy ALWAYS here? You have to actively create distance, and be so busy that she misses you. When she does get some of your time, she respects and enjoys it...

Women don't just press you for more time together, their friends get in on speculating your motives and character as well. When I checked my ex's messages shortly before we split I saw she was having one conversation with one person where she was complaining she didn't see me enough and another conversation with someone else where she was complaining that I was over too often and it was overwhelming her. Same time same day, having both conversations. So that's first hand confirmation that when she's trying to check out she and her friends are always going to latch onto something and all they're trying to do is justify leaving. The reasons are usually not based in reality. It's better to get a coach with a more comprehensive perspective on where you can improve than to take you ex's perspectives and base your development on her feedback.

A car rally, or lunch/dinner out or a movie. I never tell her plans in advance, unless its a need to know thing so she can pack accordingly. I have never heard “No” in the bedroom and she is compliant in my wishes in that regard. That being said, I absolutely agree that there needs to be some “mystery”. We don’t share a bathroom and my wife has always been complimentary on my hygiene. I know these sound like little things but I am going on 10 years with her and we are very happy. Lastly, keep it interesting in the bedroom. Listen to her and figure out her buttons. Not only for her but for yourself. You will catch her staring at you and touching you all the time.

The way they stayed together and the reason marriages worked back then was because men were masculine and women were feminine. Women were traditional and both genders played their gender roles. If a woman was divorced society would shame her and no man would want her. And a woman literally couldn’t survive without a husband. That’s why marriages worked back then.

women had morals back then, before feminism unleashed the "sexual liberation" movement onto the world. now 80% of women are 304's. religion & lack of social media kept women's hypergamy in check. now they have unlimited options & they make no effort to make a connection with anyone who isn't chad. women will replace any man who gives them "the ick" at the drop of a hat. since women are so fickle & leave marriages 80% of the time, divorce extort men, men simply don't get married anymore. everyone is indulged in hookup culture & dating has devolved into 1 night stand, ghost, rinse repeat. this is how women wanted it to be, so it is what it is.

You will hardly find this with todays generations and culture. My parents married being 23 and 19 years old. My father was a chad (like people today call it) but he was also faithful to my mother, he already had his "wild years" before marriage and that was that (and he took an advice to heart from my grandfather: Never hook up with a girl that would make you feel ashamed or embarassed if she gets pregnant). He was the first and only man of my mother. I was born one year after their marriage. They both had a rocky childhood (especially my father), both having lost their mother at a young age. They built up their family owned business together, working side by side for almost 50 years. Only interrupted when my mother stayed at home for 3 years after I was born. When my father did get sick in his early 70's my mother took care of him, even though not having the best health herself. Not saying they didn't had their issues over the years, but the only thing both regretted was spending too much time working even at their later years and deffering many things they had planned to do. Today I can try being the man my father was, but I don't expect also finding a high value woman. They were a rare breed even back then. But I believe, their story tells some basic truths about how such a relationship may work: Mary young (if ever) - but choose well, follow a common goal, be family oriented, be loyal, stay humble. Hold frame.

Being a stray, she was very 'standoffish/shy'. But is SLOWLY getting friendlier. Cats of course work on the Food/Threat adage. When i am at home for a while, she gets 'distant' with her affection to me. But i regularly leave for periods (a friend feeds her) When i come back, she is super smootchy and continues to get closer. This is why relationships were so much more “solid” back in the day… in the early 90s and also the years leading up to that, men were always away at work, out hunting, out doing manly shit. They’d sometimes go days or weeks without seeing their wives or significant other. Today, men are spending way to much time at home or with their girlfriends, back then men didn’t have time to spend time with their wives cause they were out at sea traveling and conquering or hunting or hustling, these days men “work from home” and are infront of their girls 24/7. This makes complete sense to me as to why things have changed so much in modern relationships and why they fail so often.

It comes with extreme paranoia, sometimes violence, stalking, vandalism and borderline psychotic behavior. Be careful what you wish for, especially when it comes to playing with someone else's emotions. Especially a woman's. Just be a thorough man, be yourself and let the chips fall where they fall from there.

Trust, loyalty, shared values, mutual interests, merging hearts and souls, spiritual union, mutual love and respect for animals, celebrate and respect each others talents and gifts, honor the wounds. The business aspects need to be able to be handled by each as if anyrhing happens the other partner needs to step in and carry on. The foundation. The paetnership becomes an entity.

As a physician, It’s so common to see a LOT of my colleagues who well into their 70’s are still working and rocking it day to day. I always make the comment that this is probably better than being at home with their wives in each other’s faces. And it’s not that they need the money. They just focus on a purpose.

12:20 i said it earlier, so here it goes.... for the first 2-3yrs of that relationship there were zero issues. She pushed for us to live together, I was hesitant, I felt we weren't ready yet, maybe another year. Anyway, it happened, and within 6 months it all fell apart. So, if it is NOT MARRIAGE, do NOT live together.

after not dating for a long time I found someone to spend time with, ended up doing everything wrong 100%. Talk about a complete and utter embarrassment for me. Eventually I came to my senses and sent her on her way. Either way I'm so much more aware now about how to deal with women, which is better late than never. Never again!

Do you really think if a guy is the best version of himself the woman wont get bored? He is still predictable and follows a predictable routune. Casey Vander gets it, Rich Cooper thinks if a guy has money and a lambo the woman WONT get tired of him.

Brother, remember one thing, when a girl or woman knows that you are capable of replacing her at any moment and that you don't feel bad for a single moment, you are number 1 for her, everything else falls into the water.
