@@RavenStorm332 They only have so much runtime to work with. Slowing down the pacing ultimately means cutting out more stuff. It's tough, because fans will be disappointed either way.

I see people saying here that they were mid or didn't care for Wolf Pack but I have seen lots of people online not happy it was cancelled as they genuinely enjoyed it.

Avatar wasn't "cancelled", it's just adapting an existing 3-season story. Then ending. A story being finished as planned is not the same as being cancelled.

Thank you I've been arguing with people for years that agents of S.H.I.E.L.D was not cancelled lol

The thing with Our Flag Means Death was it was all set up to have another season, messages were sent and calls to hire actors were made, but over Christmas, things started to go silent (As they do over the holidays) then suddenly they were told there would be no season 3. (This was all confirmed by one of the creators over Twitter)

I’m really sad about Wolf Pack, honestly. It was a mid-tier show that did nothing special and had its fair share of kinks to iron out but I still really enjoyed the first season, admittedly, mostly because I was thrilled to have SMG back on my screen. I’m beginning to think she might be cursed though as this is the latest in a line of shows with potential that she’s starred in to be cancelled after one season. I just want her to have another success 😢

I too have watched all her one season shows. Wolf Pack, Ringer, The Crazy Ones, and even the pilot of Cruel Intentions.

Same. I think there are way too many streaming services now that no one wants to pay for so most of these shows go unnoticed by people who can't afford 10+ streamers. It's a shame

I haven’t even heard of most of these. I think so many shows are struggling because there are SO many platforms now. The world is over saturated with so many shows that it’s nearly impossible for anyone to know about ALL of them.

That's what I've said about streaming. Netflix puts out too many shows which hurts them because shows don't get the attention from Netflix to get a chance at growing an audience or even get advertised.

The real reason why Wolfpack got canceled is because it wasn't on regular TV. It was done on a streaming Network and alot of people that watch Teen Wolf didn't have the Steaming network

I don't think that a show that ends, after 7 seasons, can be considered to be "cancelled". Traditionally, 7 years is the the aim for most TV series, in America.

@@williamdixon-gk2sk That was the weird goal for "Community". Thanks to Yahoo picking it up for season 6 and the fact that they are now making that movie, they have met that goal.

The problem with Wolf Pack was that it's pacing was terrible. My roommate and I kept waiting for something to happen. They used SMG as a selling point to draw in viewers, but she was hardly in the show. Finally, by the end of the season, there was enough intrigue to have us wanting a second season, but I doubt most viewers made it the end. No one talked about it once it was done.

Avatar: The Last Airbender is getting a "full series order" in much the same way Lost in Space did as well.

The main problem with tv shows these days is there's just too much. I remember back in the day when you use to be able to remember everything that came out for each season because theere wasn't so much. I don't think that I'm in the minority in saying that I haven't heard of more than half of these shows. Let me just say that I'm not homophobic by any means but it seems like everybody on tv seems to be gay these days....

If you weren't homophobic you wouldn't be complaining about the three CANCELLED shows with gay people as main characters in a sea of hundreds of shows with straight protagonists.

People/Companies that make shows need to realize that the reason the views are low on their content is because most people, myself included, will not watch a show untill it has been on for a few seaons because we do not want to invest our time in a show that will end up being cancelled.

Or simply wait to have a season available in its entirety before watching it. And often, it takes a few months before watching it with the considerable offer we now have and the possibility to stream it whenever we want. I think they base their decisions on outdated viewing/rating scores.

I liked everything on Upload except the romance part. Romances on tv shows and movies almost always feel rushed and forced to me. Saddly this is like 50% of the show.

Taika had been knocking them out of the park..... he managed to get one of his series over the finish line with Reservation Dogs (which was excellent, by the way). It's really sad he couldn't do the same thing with "Flag," or "Shadows." The man is a genius.

I'm sad about Uncoupled. The first season was really good and I've only ever heard people talk positively about it.

Netflix cant keep his good shows apparently.

This video should be retitled as it isn't really 10 shows that have just been cancelled. Death and Other Details is disappointing but not surprising as it seems not many people actually use Hulu.

We don't even get Hulu here in Canada. I ended up seeing it just recently on Disney+ and was disappointed to learn it wasn't coming back.

I was actually looking forward to a second season of wolfpack. Wanted to see more and since things were left unanswered

I dropped The Good Doctor many seasons ago. Guess that i was getting really tired of medical dramas back then. There must be like 50 or more running right now.

Traditional network shows had 26 episodes in a season and less than 3 seasons was considered a flop. Now with 6-13 episodes of shows with years of waiting between seasons it's no wonder they can't maintain momentum.

Agreed. I think some shows should go back to the one episode a week format. It allows for a build-up and gives people something to talk about in the mean time. A perfect example is X-Men 97

I'm surprised Julia was renewed while The Time Traveler's Wife was canceled, both being MAX shows.

I still can't believe there's still zero word on the fate of Unicorn: Warriors Eternal. We've already seen the promo for season 2 of My Adventures with Superman...where's the other good stuff we want

Honestly I hope wolf pack ends up being picked up by someone else because paramount makes probably more mistakes with their shows than the other streaming services while some bits of it were stupid it had potential

I will always treasure my time on the good doctor being one of their covid nurse during the pandemic. And while I was being rotated to various TV shows like motherland, a million little things, upload S2, the flash and supergirl that are being filmed in BC during that time, the good doctor and upload S2 stood out to me because they had a great catering 😂🤣 and not all shows has that.

7 seasons of the good doctor is a pretty solid run

About Uncoupled: Netflix cancelled it after its first season, but then Showtime saved it. Sadly, they are the ones who just cancelled it because of filming difficulties, even though the whole season was basically finished writing

We should have gotten a second season of wolf pack. I loved that show

You scared me a bit there with Upload. As soon as I saw that I was worried it wasn't going to continue and it wouldn't be resolving the cliffhanger. I wouldn't call it a cancel if they got to finish their story unless they wished they could have done more and they had to rush an ending like they did with Angel.

Can you really even put Netflix shows on this list they cancel like 90% of everything after 1 season. I completely forgot about Ratchet.

"What we do in the shadows" series was much better than "Our flag meas death" IMO. And the former had a satisfactory ending.

I was hoping for one more season of Julia!

A tragic cancellation this season was CBS' quirky legal comedy "So Help Me Todd" after 2 seasons. The show averaged in the Top 22 in the Nielsens, but CBS decided that it was too close to the reboot of "Matlock" with Kathy Bates which has been in Production for a year and will premiere in the Fall. CBS owns the show and has stated that it will not be shopped and also will not be sent to Paramount+. They may regret this decision If "Matlock" cannot pull comparable ratings.

Wait! What we do in the Shadows is cancelled?

Finding out that Upload is getting cancelled was a gut punch. The show deserves at least a 6 season run. I guess it's not "Must Watch Television" enough for Amazon. But it still has its place. Its easily one of the best Comedy-drama's around.

Shame about Death and Other Details. It was on Disney+ in my country.

Crossing swords need a season 3

I was really hoping Wolfpack would get another season. It was a very good show.

Well, two shows that I’m saddened that got canceled was the reboot of quantum Leap canceled after two seasons. NCIS Hawaii canceled after three seasons.

I was absolutely furious when I saw that first scene of Prince Zuko and was fuming for 3 stinking minutes waiting to hear its a full run but no more. I would LIKE to have seen more of Aangs future before Korra ruined it, BUT it does open up the only logical avenue left available for the franchise to move forward thanks to what Korra did. Avatar Roku, and retracing the avatar cycle which it does feel like might well be the intended plan for the series. As for the rest of the entries, yeah, I sense a very clear and logical theme.

Dang, I really wanted a second season to the brothers sun but at the end of the first season, I didn’t think they left any story threads dangling but I thought it deserved a second season

I've only heard of like, 3 of these shows. Avatar, Ratched, and The Good Doctor. Upload and Wolf Pack look interesting though.

I feel like the fact I hadn’t heard of any of these, minus Avatar is part of their problem. How many others can say the same?

I’m starting to think Michelle Yeoh is either a time traveller or there are 4 or 5 clones of her. She’s in so many films and TV series I swear there isn’t enough time to make them all 😁

Upload was pretty fun at first, yet I hope to end its arc well in the 4th season. As I said, stories are not meant to last forever.

The Conners was just announced as getting a “six episode final, seventh season.” Many were worried s6 would be it, with only 6-8 eps this year, due to the WGA and SAGAFTRA strikes. I’m unclear on the bts details, but many Barr psychofants have been claiming its cancellation since s1. Or her eventual return. 🙄 That is NEVER going to happen, esp after her recent “skit” filmed in Bergdolf-Goldman. 🤬 Goodman may be out of both his jobs, as I hear The Righteous Gemstones is currently filming its final season, as well? Last season saw the aftermath of Eli’s retirement from the family’s public show. Not sure what else can happen this upcoming season?

Death and Other Details and The Brothers Sun are both excellent. Upload and Wolf Pack are both good shows as well.

People have to make a leap of faith watching anything these days because you never know if you will get to the end.

AVATAR has one problem. It feels rushed and it would have a stronger fan base if they didn't skip sooooo many episodes of the original series opting only for the more climactic episodes of the series. We want to fall in love with AANG AND THE CREW ALL OVER AGAIN. "GO FOR THE ENTIRE SHOW NOT JUST 8 TO 10 EPISODES. WE CRAVE ENTIRE 24-25 EPISODES NOT THESE INTERNET CUT OFF SEASONS. WE WANT TO SIT ON THE COUCH IN OUR UNDERWEAR AND BINGE WATCH FOR 2-3 DAYS NO SLEEP ON 1 SERIES MAN.

A full series order is not a cancelation it's accepting and respecting how long their story will take to tell. Thats best case scenario.

I'm really sad Uncoupled is getting cancelled. Finally there was a show about a gay man that doesn't take place in a high school. I would love to watch more gay friendly shows that takes place after the age of 25

Man, I’ve been waiting so long for season two of Ratched. This is really disappointing.

Ware wolves that have a specific power took me out!! I was into it , and then that dumb idea came up! 1 is strong, 1 can hear great , 1 can heal ,1 can run faster , and only 1 can make more wolves!!!😂😂😂 Those are treats they should all have!

Looks more like bad advertising since I have not heard of half of these shows.

Wolf Pack was ... interesting. But most of it felt like the worst of Teen Wolf. And Teen Wolf was never a A grade show in my eyes too.

I was hoping it would get a second season to find it's footing and have a chance to improve. If Buffy premiered nowadays, it would also be cancelled after season 1 and that would've been tragic lol

The brother sun finished, it really didn't feel like it was ever meant to have another season

Bugger question is will law and order and the Simpsons ever get canceled or end?

I can't help but notice a certain pattern with a lot of these shows that got canceled. I'm not saying every single one had it in it but I would say at least 50% of these did. I'm sure most of it was just budget cuts though, budget cuts and trying to rein in spending. But I have to admit certain content that was prevalent in most of these were just a coincidence I'm sure. Half of these shows I wasn't aware of and stuff like our flag means death I was aware of but now I understand why people mostly steered clear that's waititi for ya.

The only show on this list I watched was The Good Doctor. I guess that makes it two shows I watched this year that are cancelled. The other being CSI: Vegas. Cancelled because CBS didn't have room on their schedule. I guess the shows I like to watch are much different than what the majority of people like to watch. Judging by this list and ads for shows there seems to be a heck of a lot of shows I have absolutely no interest at all in watching and the ones I do don't seem to last very long.

Our Flag Means Death is a bit of a surprise. Although I didn't really think of it as a Rom-Com, but I guess it fits. Don't remind us of What We Do In The Shadows ending.

Netflix likes seeing viewers reach the end of series. . they cancel shows with 60% of audience reaching end of certain series. So if u got a show where less than 30% that watched the first episode reach the last.. its def getting the axe.

Why are you saying Avatar is "Cancelled"? The series is 3 seasons, ending the story. Is like you say that "Shogun" got cancelled... after the first season. Hollywood's course is that in Comic book flicks nobody stays dead, and the rest they always want more seasons. The characters are ageless... (Just look at the Simpsons), instead of completing a satisfactory arc, greed rules them until they spoil something that could have been great if it ended when it should have. With few exceptions... Breaking Bad comes to mind from the top of my head.
