Фильм және анимация

[Spoiler Free Review]

There are so many HATERS disguised as critics!! I loved the movie myself. Argylle is a spy spoof and very well done , acted.and directed. Thank you for saying something positive about Argylle.

No regrets even if it was not a movie i usually choose to watch. Some complain about the actress but imho she was cute and looked like a normal human being.

She looks Like a slightly overweight middle aged woman. Big News Flash, that is what women look like. Not all women Look like Dua Lipa,... not all men look Like Henry Cavill. That was the entire point of casting Dua Lipa and Henry Cavill.

Loved this movie. Is someone paying the critics to say negative things? But I have found depending on the critics to determine whether a movie is good or not, rarely works anyway. This movie is fun, exciting, full of twists, entertaining, a fun plot, and extremely well acted and directed. Way to go Argylle cast and director.

I loved it. Critics are idiots. The twists were top notch and it was hilarious. It's obviously a spoof of spy movies. It was just a lot of fun to watch.

I think critics are way too cynical these days. They seem to forget movies are sometimes there to entertain and be fun. The role of a critic should be a love letter even if critical to the art form. Instead, too many are preoccupied with chasing clout and eyeballs, and they know they can do that by being pointlessly negative which only hurts the industry, making them even less relevant. Argylle was a uproariously outrageous film with stupid moments, but that's part of the fun.

I generally agree with you, although my critisisms are differant ones. The cgi cat (that looked better done in some scenes than others didnt distract me any) BUT there is a very fine line between humour & sillyness & at times ARGYLLE crossed it. I imagine he's parodying the action hero genra, & not for the first time on film.the film was fun entertainment, an improvement on BARBIE & DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS

Genuine question; why was it one of your worst theater experiences ever? I understand it's not for everyone (like most Matthew Vaughn films) but it's still a very well directed film with a lot of heart. There's literally countless of shitty studios products that are consistently out in theaters so what makes Argylle so bad to you?

I enjoyed this film too . Think it’s a lot of fun , Bryan Cranstoun and Sam Rockwell, stand out in this film The only criticism I would make is that I lost count the number of times that I thought the film was about to end only for it to start up again ! So I think they could have shaved a good 20 minutes off the final viewing time but I do recommend seeing this film if you get the chance as it’ll put a smile on your face

Thank you for saying something positive about this movie. I saw it twice in the theater, loved it! It's not perfect but it's a lot of fun and it's really quite clever. It's not a movie for everyone and that's ok. If you didn't like it that's fine, find a movie you do like and enjoy that but there's no reason to be so negative as so many reviews and comments for this movie have been. It's a very sad statement not only of how negative film critics are but of us as a society altogether. We need to stop taking ourselves so seriously.

I am just going to say it- I feel like I enjoyed this film more than my last time watching a Kingsman movie. I mean, I like watching spies kick butt and I really appreciate the humor breaking things up. I don’t like watching things that are too dark and serious personally, this just felt like a good time. The only reason I can think of is that it is a woman learning she was a spy who was manipulated? I mean, I feel like I have seen that idea with a male that people have liked? Im not sure.

@@NobleTreizeN13 The revelation that Rachel Kyle was The Division’s most loyal assassin raises the question of why they had to brainwash her at all and that doesn’t get any level of explanation

  • @thatdudekyle4509

It’s not the twists, it’s the fact that the twists completely contradict and undermine the point of having a plot at all. They twisted themselves into an illogical plot that literally is pointless to make sense of. She’s on the same team as the people who brainwashed her to get the information they already had to find the files they already had. Bugs Bunny has more logical plots.

I wondered if that was on purpose, because to me she's suppose to be what I call a CVS writer. The authors on the CVS shelfs are not great writers, but if you need to be entertained, they're the ones who are gonna do it (just don't think to deeply while reading it).

It's not just the critics, nor would I go by whether you liked Kingsman or not. Kingsman had good pacing, a fairly consistent tone, a plot that was reasonably coherent and humour that landed fairly reliably. In my opinion, Argylle was an something of an inconsistent mess in all four of these areas.

Not everyone has an agenda. Chill. Critics view movies from a filmmaking standpoint - script, editing, cinematography, sound, acting performances, etc. Their job is to be critical. General audiences just want a good time. I love bad movies and even buy the DVDs to watch them over and over. It’s not that complicated.

I'm a chronic glazer of Matthew Vaughn, his balls haven't left my mouth since I first saw Kick-Ass, but even I couldn't really enjoy Argylle. It was jus so un-engaging for most of the runtime, it only becomes a Matthew Vaughn movie in the last 30 minutes.

Nope, this movie is a disappointment of a film that baited Henry Cavill fans to show up, only for him to show up for about 5 minutes of the whole runtime, a garbage plot with as many dumb twists as Ryan Johnson movies, completely nonsensical action scenes disguised as comedy (failed) and CGI that is an assault upon the senses. This movie wasted 2 hours of my life and it’s best no one else does the same
