With the guy who shot the two men in the woods story, [ends 24:31], I think it could have been a hallucination created by a Wendigo, hence the demonic laughter the man heard later. If it was abnormally loud laughter, it must've been from a large creature, and Wendigo are about 11 foot high, so.... they can create hallucinations, the fact the man never saw his attackers' faces but darkness makes me think dark sorcery was at play here and it was a Wendigo's power.

You don't mess with boar. They're dangerous, especially if you make them mad. My mom almost got killed by one when she was hunting. She missed the shot & it charged her. My uncle managed to hit it instead. It would've been very ugly if he hadn't.
