Yeah, I Found this on Fandom Wiki: Toy Story 3 34294412969239siddy Sid as a garbage man. After 10 years since Woody has been rescued from Al and Stinky Pete, Sid (now grown up) makes a cameo appearance in Toy Story 3 working on a garbage truck as he comes to pick up the trash from Andy's house (including Andy's toys who are also in a bag and mistakenly got put outside by Mrs. Davis, whom Woody hurries out to rescue without being seen). Sid is mostly heard scatting to music and is identified by having the same skull T-shirt that he wore as a kid, along with a yellow vest, goggles, a goatee, and a big set of headphones. He is seen again near the end of the film after the toys escape from the incinerator at the Tri-County Landfill and hitch a ride on his garbage truck to get home. During his brief re-encounter with him earlier, Woody apparently did not recognize him as being Sid as he was more concerned about saving the others.

A good plot for Toy Story 4 is the toys look for Bo Peep, and return to Andy's house. Then when Andy comes back from college, he'll be like "what are they doing here?", and his mom walks in and says "exactly where you found them", which is a reference to the first film and will be a happy ending

Just watched the video by the SuperCarlinBrothers and that is what the reason his dad was not there. And the ring? Maybe she put it in a jewelry box for moving; as you can accidentally snag a ring on things and cut your finger, or worse. I think the guy you mean is the late Joe Ranft.

It'd be interesting to see Disney and Pixar do a Toy Story prequel. Story would predate the events of the original Toy Story movie. Woody and Jessie's backstories, and a glimpse into who Andy's dad is/was, and if Andy's mom is/isn't Emily. Another story that would be worth exploring is Sid, from his toy torturing origins to events between Toy Story and Toy Story 3. Stories would need to be good.

My dad died when I was a toddler and my mom didn't wear her wedding ring because she's the type of person who doesn't like to wear jewelry and weirdly enough we didn't really have any photos of my dad around the house. So from my own experience it is possible that Andy's dad died rather then divorcing from Andy's mom.

Here's where it gets really sad. Andy Sr., already sickly, came down with polio, which meant that all of his belongings had to be burned-including toys. But, he stashed Woody away before he could be burned. Eventually recovering from polio, he met his wife as an adult and had Andy Jr. But then he died after molly was born and the year before Andy jrs. Bday.
