AJ is good enough that he turned a botch into a mini-story in Chikara and rolled with it. I doubt AJ Styles would've been buried even if they tried, the only thing they could possibly do is to fire him. I think AJ would've taken the worst gimmick ever and just rolled with it. It helped that AJ Styles was allowed to pretty much do what he did in TNA but in WWE. He's like Chris Jericho, I believe that AJ could get the dumbest thing over and like Shawn Micheals, AJ could get a good story and match out of a mop.

Surprised at Eric Young and Samoa Joe not being there, in fairness. Like Kross, if you count their NXT stuff then, again, it wasn't bad but with main roster appearances then the ball wasn't just dropped but stabbed and stamped on. I'm convinced wwe signs the biggest stars outside wwe just to hurt that company. They don't care about the wrestler they just signed only that it lowers the value and star power of the company they just took them from. Than they water down that wrestler so much until they take away any value or star power they had. Then they fire them and their value had dropped so much other big companies don't see a star in them anymore and the don't recover. They don't care about who they sign because the made their name elsewhere so the jus ruin a wrestlers career just to get one over on the other company. It's disgusting how they treat wrestlers who grew up dreaming about being in wwe and they mean nutin to wwe. A few have come back but not many.

This is why I'm hoping AEW gets stronger, I remember Christian saying fans thought he retired when instead he was in TNA! It's clear WWE has a hold on the market and it's storytelling is not gonna get any better, too many brand partnerships rely on this storytelling "style" making every superstar look likeva product of WWE, that can't grow past them.

EC3's issue was being so intrinsically linked to TNA, given the original version of his name is Ethan Carter III. What else are they gonna do with the kayfabe nephew of the head of one of the closest things they had to a rival company. I know people make jokes about Nash's quads but his have nothing against Chelsea Green's wrists. She's injured them like four times or so in the past three years. Hoyt/Archer still surprises the hell out of me. He was and is a flashy big guy who can also play the monster heel. I will admit he was pretty skinny back then and WWE like their big guys to be bulky. Eh, more a big douche in a small pond. Or medium. We do have to account for his height. Monty Brown is an iffy case. I think he would have likely had a pretty entertaining run later on but you can't really say he flopped as he left for personal reasons before anything could get started.

AJ Styles did good only cause he went to Japan first. Had he not, they would've buried him. By the time he came to WWE, TNA was no longer the promising company it once was. Letting AJ Styles go over other talent proved that Hogan had accomplished what he did in WCW eventually ruined it, & abandoned it.

I would like to see all of SCU come to WWE. Since Kazarian would do better now and Christopher Daniels could get a proper run this time. Don't forget that Chelsea Green beat Charlotte Flair on Main Event. Problem with Kharma was that she went to WWE the wrong time. Didn't Aries get fired because of something to with Stephanie McMahon and not the writing team also it's sad how he had to job to Pac everytime in their rivalry on 205 Live. No no number 1 should've been Chris Hero sure Harris is a good pick but Hero deserves the spot we all know it

I always thought about EC3 first when it came to this topic and how he went to wwe and just flopped I wouldn’t put it past the old man to get EC3 over there so the TNA ratings would take a fall since they were going back up with that EC3 feud with Bobby Lashley and by them being huge stars in a company that was found dead a couple years before that so he had to snag them back up since they were hot and he was making money off them first
