Dude -- I have seen "Gimme Shelter" a bunch of times. Hunter arrived at that concert with his white girlfriend--and them guys (H. Angels) IMMEDIATELY had a problem with him. He didn't jump on stage, from my recollection. Drunk Angels instigated a fight with him, and as he pulled a gun from his inner, left jacket pocket, that particular Angel stabbed him in his neck, from behind. Later on in "Gimme Shelter," you can see Mick Jagger and some producers/band members sitting & watching the footage and expressing disconcerting sentiments about that tragedy having occurred at their concert. Not once did they say anything about him jumping on stage, nor did Hunter pull a gun while allegedly on stage. He pulled that gun (which looked like a .32 or a .38), as he had been jumped by several of the Angels, seconds before being stabbed.
