That's one of my favorite things about traveling in Vietnam, cheap(er) accommodation. I don't think I've ever spent more than $40/night on a hotel here (usually in the $10-$15 range)

Knowing simple phrases would be a big help
I went to a hospital in Saigon - the Tam Anh Hospital near the airport. I found the care to be excellent. And not expensive. I think I paid under $200 for three visits, scans, and prescriptions.
I wish I watched the video before my trip to vietnam. Tip #1 would have helped me tremendously and save me thousands of dollars.
I’ve been to Vietnam many times, and I love the country. I have to say that you put a very nice objective video together, you did a really good job without coming across as a ‘know it all”, as you see it in many other travel blogs, especially US based. I think a lot of people will appreciate your videos.

"If winter in Hanoi is too cold for you..." Oh my God, I nearly fell out of my chair laughing at this. I miss Vietnamese winters!😂

Which tip ? Everything everything and everything.. this is the first video the one has to see before planning a trip to Vietnam .. you are amazing. Thanks a ton . You helped me a lot .......
Thank you for this very informative video. I was a soldier based in Nha Trang during the war and am returning in January thru February 2023. I learned a lot from you! 💐
great video Van.
Another tips for menstruators, tampons are hard to find in Vietnam, although big supermarkets or shopping centers have them, there're mostly non-applicator ones. There's one brand called Sofy that has the applicator ones but there's only Super available, so, if you're gonna travel to Vietnam and have to be specific with the brand ur using, make sure to bring your own!
Yêu lắm Vân Vũ, cố lên nhé...cám ơn bạn rất nhiều!
Van, thank you very much for this video. While I had to learn off the cuff when I lived in China and during my stays in the Philippines, I had some help from friends to make my time more pleasant. I found the video amazing. I had Kidney cancer and within a year I needed a heart valve replacement and had to have teeth removed due to possible complications, so the medical part really helped. I'm doing great now. I was able to go back to China but Covid broke the next month after I returned and I had to come back home to America. I miss Asia and would love to go back to live. Anywho, thank you again for your hard work, pleasant attitude, and informative videos. 👍✌️❤️🤟😊☕
I have been personally to Vietnam once on the holidays and as a Vietnamise person born in Czech republic i know barely anything about Vietnam and don't know how to read or the Vietnamise alphabet but i hope to move there (For personal reasons such as connecting with my county more, feeling suffocated in my current home, etc.) when i'm 16 years old as currently now i'm 13 years old so i'd really appreciate any kind of tips, advices and to be educated! Loved the video!!

Hi! i will go to Vietnam in July first time. is it possible to for you to produse a video about the most important phrases ? Would be great! Especially its short time till than.
I am going back to HCMC again by May! This time, I will go to Danang which I was not able to do so due to the pandemic where I have to return to my home country!
I love your videos, I'm from VIETNAM but I can't possibly stop watching your videos🤣🤣🤣
I really love the way you spread Vietnamese culture to friends all over the world, chị Vân. Hope there will be more tourists paying our country a visit to feel the beauty of landscapes and the people here. I have learned a tons of vocabulary through your clips and still keep doing that=)))
rất thích video của chị vân vũ, chúc chị vân vũ có nhiều sức khỏe để tiếp tục ra nhiều video quảng bá về văn hóa, con người Việt Nam nữa !
EVERYTHING she says is correct about Vietnam. I'm an American and have fallen in love with Vietnam and met my Fiance there. It's about $1400 from the west coast of the USA but once we get there (about 18 hr flight) our currency crushes it. A cup of regular starbucks coffee in Vietnam is .80! I stayed in a luxury resort in Nha Trang (marble foyer, brand new, 8 elevators-you get the picture) in June 2023. It was only $50 a night!. Easily would have been $300 in the USA. FLY AROUND in Vietnam. Do not use buses or train. I do disagree with her renting a scooter-DO NOT DO THAT. Traffic is crazy. You don't know the rules. NEVER step back in traffic. ALWAYS MOVE FORWARD when crossing the street! GOT IT? ;) btw I was in Ha Long Bay (take the boat tours!) Ha Noi (see old French quarter), Da Nang (Hoi An), Nha Trang, Saigon and did a Mekong delta cruise. Younger people there speak English. Older people mid 50s and up might know some limited French. As foreigners don't try to speak Vietnamese it's difficult. Americans they like us there. Don't worry they have moved passed the war a long time ago and want to know us. Not just for money they honestly like the USA.
Thank you for the lovely tips. What was the monument at 8:26 please?
I am planning a second trip to beautiful Vietnam. How do I meet you when I get there? You have very good content on your channel
It would be great if you give some advises about language learning and of course 10 necessary phrases. Thanks for your channel, I like it 🙂
