I like how you saved the best for last… the wonderful trails!! The trails are maintained by the City of Lakeway and the volunteers in the Friends of the Parks! Also, the Lake Travis high school mountain bike racing team has won more state championships than the football team!

Ok, this was the best overview of Lakeway! you need more views lol. We are considering a move from NY and will be in touch if we do :). One question though: Is there a "downtown" in lakeway? shops, coffee shops, restaurants etc to walk around? If not, where is the BEST area for that? Not looking for chains...

You made my day, Dan! lol hopefully your kind comment will help my new channel take off faster 😂Lakeway's "downtown" is really the Oaks at Lakeway, which has a handful of non-chain restaurants and coffee spots. Vivel is great spot with crepes and coffee, you have several sushi joints, etc. Here's a link as well: www.oaksatlakeway.net. Looking to sell our recently built home on Canyon Lake and get in back to areas with more activities/trails/tennis/pickleball/conveniences. Looks like a great mix of nature and the activities!
