You should see them mince an onion; it doesn't work but you can imagine. Great for making apple sauce though. I think most of the weapon changes were based around the idea of them wanting to be able to limit how much elemental ammo/damage a PC can lay down....but still allow people to use elemental primaries. Also, I'm hoping the move of shotguns, snipers, and fusion rifles to the power slot means they can boost the effectiveness of these weapons. It would be nice to have a shotgun with a range of more than 2 feet.

Unfortunately lore videos don't bring in the views I need to sustain life while also justify the amount of time and work it takes to make them. Every time I try to pitch something to supplement my income like patreon or a merchandise store it has always fallen flat. I wish I could write more lore more often but I'm too slow and care too much about quality to take on projects of that size alone anymore. It simply takes up too much time and resources to produce to the level I want to deliver. Sadly KZread is a platform about quantity over quality. Those are not my values. I am a good content creator but a very poor KZreadr.

As a long standing Warlock, I am currently concerned about the degree of "spellcasting" that the Solar Warlock currently possesses. Even ignoring the massive shift from the grenade focused Radiance of a Sunsinger to the Dawnblade, I do not feel that our new subclass retains the mage motif enough. In general, Warlocks have had a focus on abilities and grenades especially so. While the push to greater differences in class is becoming more apparent with the class abilities as such, I am concerned that my favorite class is losing part of its identity.

Of course I'm not expecting the same abilities (although some recurring abilities also makes sense). As I said, even ignoring the departure from a Sunsinger's Radiance, I'm saying that I expected there to be a greater focus on grenades and melee for the Solar Warlock because Warlocks are supposed to be spellcasters. For Destiny, spells are abilities, ergo I was expecting Dawnblades to have at least a few perks that enhances cooldowns or strength of grenades.

I'm so tired of people complaining, saying it's just Destiny 1.5. It's not. The gameplay mechanics are similar because it's a sequel. Like uncharted, the sequels have new interesting stories, but play very similar.

soooo what transfers over from the first destiny? do we keep our characters or anything?

Not sure. Bungie kept saying a "fresh start" for players during the presentation, but ultimately we just don't know right now what that means exactly.

id like to see a fusion rifle in the kinetic. it cant shoot energy of course, so it would work like a flack cannon, firing little bits of metal almost like a shotgun. it would have a charge and would be more powerful than shotguns

I heard nightstalker, sunbreaker, and arc lightning are going to be in the game but they are still reworking the sub classes. I was hoping we would get more than 1 new sub classes for each class. 2 each would have been better but I do love nightstalker as a sub class especially in PvP. Destiny has some of the best gameplay in any game I have ever played. There story is where they completely dropped the ball along with the world being empty except for enemies though Bungie wouldn't want to show everything all at once. Bungie would want to save something for E3 maybe and something for the beta for players to see and fall in love with. Bungie is good at teasing just enough to keep everyone interested but not giving the fans too much. Always keep them wanting.

Is there a setting where the Warlock can use that healing ability while moving? My only issue with Destiny 1 was that there was not enough content at base game. As long as this problem is avoided I have hope for Destiny 2. With TerraMantis bringing up how the Destiny 2 feels like the first game got me thinking. Would it be better with Destiny would be like Elder Scrolls Online as in, there is just one Destiny game but the developer just keeps adding more dlc onto it?

That's exactly what Bungie does. But, they just make the horrible mistake of making previous content obsolete with each expansion instead of finding a way to still make old raids relevant to the new content.

I didn't notice, probably because that isn't a new mechanic. Bungie had dropship destruction in Halo 3, ODST, and Reach. Destiny 1 didn't have it because Bungie is now lazy corporate pawns. I'll be impressed when we can actually board and destroy enemy vessels. You know, kinda like the Scarabs from Halo? Until I can ram a Fallen Ketch full of corpses into a building full of more enemies, Destiny will continue having amazing moments and epic stories locked behind someone else's grimoire cards while I do the same old Strikes that have absolutely zero effect on the game world.

'NEW'? the ark strider is just ark blade but with a pole and new animations. id be lying if i said i wasn't disappointed about this, especially when you consider that the warlock and titan got completely fresh classes/supers.

Lets just hope the nightstalker subclass gets a gigantic overhaul.

I wouldn't think that what they revealed would be the whole ham...that wouldn't be smart. I don't mind things being the same, I love Destiny and the same familiarities would leave less room for having to learn everything all over again. This at least would pay homage to the ones that dedicated their time to the first and hung in their for so long. Whether or not I'd be disappointed in the end, I'm still giving it the benefit of the doubt that the actual release will blow us away no matter what "same ole" stays with new shit we never even expected. Now I'm hoping they do have a contingency with the dry spells that have plagued Destiny 1, maybe it will be the greater expansive universe we get to explore now...who knows. I had thought the reveal didn't show "everything" either...but I understood it wasn't supposed to. I'm just crossing my fingers there is SO much more that will surprise me and make me a dedicated player all over again. We'll see.

All I gotta say is, no need to fix what isn't broken.

They buffed every sub class except the voidwalker. Voidwalker is gonna get shit on. RIP voidwalker.

They talked about something called "Guided Games" that is supposed to address that issue by pairing a group looking for a person, or a person looking for a group. It wasn't on display to experience for myself though so I don't talk about it here. Supposedly they're addressing that concern but we'll see.

The only playable warlock subclass at the demo was the Dawnblade. For all we know Voidwalker is gone. Yes, Ikora used it in the intro but Zavala also used the bubble and we know that's been changed out by the Sentinel. For now we just don't know all the subclasses or the changes to them.

Im just terrified that Destiny 2 is gonna have similarly garbo end game content. The game was fun but the end game was awful, and the story didn't really make up enough to make it worthwhile. Side note and a little story. In Destiny 1 I started as a hunter. I love sniper rifles, and early in the game, around level 7 I got a sniper. a lowly green, under the name of Gozen-C. Or something like that. It didn't seem that crazy until I hit a boss with a crit and over 900 damage. I didn't find a sniper that even compared in critical damage until I was max level and working into light level. And that is the story of Gozen C. The OP sniper I used to ruin bosses in Destiny. I loved that gun.

I heard so many dividing things about Destiny 1, but the more I see Destiny 2, the more I want to fucking get it. -I feel too many good games are coming out this year. Shadow of War, Injustice 2, Nioh, Nier Automata, The Surge, JESUS CHRIST MY WALLET XD

the grinding isnt fun because the grind your doing is uninspired, and a shooting simulator. its a borderlands clone that cant bring the same things that made borderlands great to the table. Hoping their "sick" weapons and abilities will sell it, even though theyre basically the same from the first. They havent showed much at all thats different from the First game. GL on playing a 660 dollar game youve basically already played again just to have the DLC announced 2 months later.

No one has seen the Voidwalker yet. We saw Ikora use it in the first mission but we also saw Zavala use the bubble and we know that's been changed out for the Sentinel. Point is, as of right now we just don't know how the sequel will affect all pre-existing supers. As of right now, no one has seen the Voidwalker from a player perspective or if it still even exists. All of the supers on display at the presentation, old and new, were roaming supers.

Okay I'm not saying I don't agree with you on some points but...here is the catch, just like any MMO they should NEVER drastically alter the gameplay. It's what roped us all in in the first play and we are all familiar with it. Look at WoW for instance, with each major expac, they give us more content to do, rebalance and majorly change things that NEED an update. when you try to re-invent the wheel is when you kill a game...WoW lost my business and devotion with Legion....they changed waaaaaay too much. I think their approach of streamlining the game and adding in NEEDED features like a fast travel map, and guided raids is fan-fucking-tastic and shows that they care what we think. My major issue with Destiny 1 was that there was a strict meta for raid and endgame pve content...you had to be either bubble, self rez, or tether classes to be taken seriously in a raid...this should not be allowed. If i want to chuck hammers or live out my sith fantasy of shooting lightning from my fingers in a raid goddamnit don't impede me!! endgame content felt soooooo overly structured it was hoking...and also the fact that the crucible was required for some endgame quests was annoying...I hate pvp and didn't want to be forced to do it...so I hope they fix that...all in all I feel like the updates were a huge step in the right direction because fans and newcomers shouldn't be stepping into an entirely new game...that would be a huge mistake and would kill off a large portion of the playerbase...

But does it have moth people?

I pre-ordered Destiny Vanilla. This time though im holding out untill release. Im afraid that this will be pretty much the same game, even with better, more interesting missions. Im a PVE player, and i was so excited about Destiny, and hocked on the hypetrain. Unless this games comes with enough content, and story out of the box, im done with destiny.

Jokers Layer he uploaded a vid of him using it in PvP and it was crap but I think it would still play worse than most guns in PvE. I am more of a scout/pulse rifle person myself so I will probs never get around to playing with a gatling gun but I will try one out if it is the best weapon I have near the start of the game.

Noah Stronach I would consider myself above verage at fps games. So I don't think my skill level is why I found the game frustrating when it came to pvp. However I should be more specific. What was frustrating about pvp was trials. I found it difficult to succeed without using the same gun everyone else was using.

Well, when you only take part of a sentence and not the entire thought which is there for context I can see how you can say that. But I was talking about how Destiny played mechanically (gameplay). You're talking about design and balance. That's two completely different things. Of course horde mode at every pathway is bad design and your ghost needing to unlock every door while you wait is terrible design, upon many other poor design choices and weak balancing. That doesn't mean the game didn't play and handle near flawlessly.

If you notice, I don't cover PvP in the video. Or at the end when I'm talking about the aspects of Destiny I love I, again, don't mention PvP. I don't talk about PvP because I don't have the knowledge to do so, there's much better channels out there for that. I play Destiny for PvE, community and Raiding, I dabble in PvP but I'm just not a fan of Destiny PvP. The entire game would have to be reworked for me to enjoy it, it would have to resemble something closer to Overwatch with snappier cooldowns, more skills and a broader range of classes. As Destiny PvP stands right now, it's way too boring where Meta builds/loadouts rule the day. That's lame and uninteresting to me. I want the unique way I play my class to be what wins a match, not the fact that I don't have a perfectly rolled Matador 64.

So if the first Destiny ripped people off with lies and the like, why would you preorder Destiny 2 unless you're okay with said deception and dishonest business practices? Anyone who preordered must have deep pockets or bought the game after all the dlc was released in a $60 bundle.

What a waste... im all for Destiny 2 but i cant believe they just turned the golden gun into a Last word while a much better idea would be a Dual Golden guns super. Imagine the possibilities.

gameplay, crucible blah blah blah all of that could have been done in a dlc or a big updatr like other games have done. To me its still the same dog with different collar. Bungie its still avoiding the big question..... How long the campaing will be??? How many quest will it have??? I dont want to finish the game in 2 hours. The super just looks fancy but its the same thing.

Psh you're not even at 1000 hours? I quit playing April 2016 already had 3000+ hours across 3 characters.

In the time from September 2015 (Destiny's launch) to April 2016 there's a total of 5840 hours across those 8 months. Minus 33% of which would equal 8 hours of sleep each day is 1927 hours of sleep across those 8 months. The remainder is 3,913 hours. If you didn't bathe, cook food, go grocery shopping, chew food, get your hair cut, hang out with friends, watch TV, play any other games, surf the internet or do nearly anything else in your free time other than play Destiny that whole 8 month period I'd be inclined to believe you. If that is the case, you have a problem.

The main problem with Destiny is freaking aim assist ,I'll even call it an auto-aim, Bungie give us at least the option to turn it off completely. ...
