Click on this video and scoff "yeah right, I bet I know all of them" proceed to not know the first one with the Konami code. I knew all the others but was pleasantly surprised to find out something new! Great work

Regarding the hand's placement in that one cutscene: remember that at the time of release, most people played that game on standard definition CRT TVs. Due to Overscan, his hand would not have been visible to almost everyone who played the game. It probably wouldn't even have shown up during testing on anything but devkit monitors, etc.

I was the guy who made a list about that error in 5:45! :) He's completely cropped out in the 3ds version and using letterbox mode it uses a much closer zoom and different framing to mixed results. I'd also made some notes on the water issue in some cutscenes in MGS3 HD pre MC. Letterbox mode fixed the effect and given a video from E3 2011 for MGS3 it seems as if the 16:9 fullscreen cinematics we are used ti were added late. Every shot in MGS3 HD/MC it slightly higher or lower than it should be compared to the OG as well and the character and actor names are improperly alligned. Proper head space and framing was seemingly restored or fixed in MGS3D.

I know we all have to pay the bills but jeez that was a long ad spot :p

Nexus Mods! Worked for me with Vortex on PC Master Collection! Also a must have is the MGSHD Fix. Optional but also highly recommended is the AI Slop Upscale!

You forgot another easter egg involving the Konami cheat code, you can even use it when starting the game while you're in the Konami logo screen, once you did it, the opening credits from the opening scene will be altered by showing the name of the people who made the scene instead of the main producers, you can even interact the opening scene by moving the credits with the left analog stick, you can also change the language if you press the L3 button, the fourth time you press it, the credits will be formed as a snake, you can summon figures with the right analog and change it with R3 as well and by pressing R1, you can make one of the backup vocalists say the name of the song

By the way thanks for making your videos. It finally motivated me to go and play MGS1 on duckstation and beat game for first time like a month ago. I will probably go for Meryl ending next time i play. The only issue i had is getting comfortable with the game. The oldest games i play are Klingon Academy, Half Life 1 and Age of empires 2 so MGS1 took getting used to. There is a good probability i will eventually get through every mainline entry after MGS1 now as I really liked MGS1 by the end.

Every single one of these. These are all old hat to someone who sank hundreds of hours into MGS3 on the PS2. Buddy of mine and I would share save files back and forth, constantly finding and learning new things. And this was well before either of us had Internet services in our homes. Including the Subsistence version.

I can't speak about the newer versions of the game. But I know that the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection on 360 and PS3 had both MGS2 and MGS3 in the subsistence versions, with all the bonus content, like the VR missions and Snake Tales for 2, and the Secret Theater and Snake vs. Monkey for 3

@@1Ocelot That's what I saw on my own research but tho The Sega Saturn version is uncensored and has English patch the art of pc-98 looks much better and sharp. I might sound ridiculous but is there any way to combine the art of PC-98 and the gameplay and the uncensorship of the Saturn version?
