@@FEARNoMoreat the moment no. The only things that have changed was it went from a 4x4 to an AWD and a few new colors it comes in 🤷‍♀️ hopefully they will here in the future since a lot of us have some of the same issues in the Facebook group we’re in. Thanks for watching! 🙏🏻

We've had our 2022 Revel for 18 months and have never had one issue with the hot water while parking on any terrain. K02's are the number one selling all terrain tire on the market and ours run great. We put a new mattress on the bed. We never use the toilet paper roll. Stop, and put the van in neutral and the 4x4 will turn off with one try easily. The speaker wires are reversed. Reverse them back and that's fixed. The Revel is an awesome adventure van!. I recommend that you get a thicker skin if you are gonna own any RV. Sounds like you just bought the wrong rig for your needs.

I’ve been in the off road community for over 15 years and built rigs. We aren’t the only ones with these issues and we know this from the groups and people we travel with that also have revels. We still love this rig, all rigs have pros and cons and none are perfect. You must not have watched the other video talking about how much we love this rig too. 😊

LOL - I’m… why did you buy a vehicle that does not work for you? If you have a size 9 foot, and buy size 8 shoes, you are not going to be happy. You must have meet with a really good sales person if he sold you a vehicle that is too small for one of you and too big for the other. This video is entertaining listening to you say what you hate about the revel. Every van and RV has a purpose. The van is just that a van.

I can't argue about the toilet paper holder. Even our dealer couldn't get that to work, but we've never had any issues relating to leveling and water heating or leaking around the other storage compartment in the bathroom. The diesel heater can be tricky if it's not turned on very month (this in the owner's manual), but it has always responded to resetting the fuzes. Everyone is different as far as how we like our seat, but I'm short too and keep my seat back more upright, and I can reach the pedals fine. Maybe that doesn't work for you. I've heard good things about the Winnebago factory service, so maybe they could help with some of this.

Yeah we gave up on the toilet holder! LOL As for the diesel heater. We do try to prime it before we leave on trips so we know it’s working. Just this past month it won’t work at all. We been working with Elwell who has been amazing to work with, they are sending us out a new fuel pump that should fix all our problems hopefully with our unit 😊

That’s great! We did a lot of research on the revel since it was one of the first ones we saw then the Jayco came out! I would join the Facebook groups for them too and that will really help too with your research! 😊

Many of your concerns mentioned could have been weighed before buying one, by renting one out first or testing one at a dealership. With the Winnebago additions to the Mercedes Benz 4x4 Sprinter van, the Revel offers a fully functional and registered Class B camper van RV from the start. There are so many accessories for this model nowadays like memory foam mattresses (check canyon adventure vans). Each van has its trade-offs, though. It is possible to have a different water heater installed or request service for adjustments. The death wobble you are experiencing sounds like an unbalanced wheel. Many times you can fix that be having your wheels rebalanced. The beaker issue could be the investor not operating properly or pulling too much power for the 2000 watt inverter. The Revel is one of the most popular options, so if it doesn’t work the best for you, there’s a big market out there and there may be other options that work better for you. I hope others see this for all that it is, instead of what it lacks from your experience.

There are pros and cons to all RV/Vans. We also have another video that talks about what we love from it and in this video at the end we still talk about how we love it and wouldn’t have anything else but our Revel, but seems like you might not have watched the whole thing 😊

Using 4x4 often will help smooth out the gears. Just be patient with it and try to use it at least once a month.

After talking to a few people and a few YT videos later lol you have to run it through the gears to get it to disengage. I also talked to Mercedes it just needs to break in which is scary since it sounds like it’s going to fall out lol thanks for watching! 🙏🏻

@@amandaandwhit - It would have helped if I spelled hear correctly, LOL! I’ve owned a few different 4x4’s, though never a MB. All required me to back up a short distance after taking it out of 4x4 mode to allow the center diff to disengage. Try it please. 🥰

We really went back and forth on the revel and storyteller. What it came down to was we liked the cassette better and we could just pull it from outside unlike the storyteller doesn’t have that and we liked the permanent shower. But that’s what works best for us. We got the diesel fixed and has been great ever since! Happy New Years to you as well! Thanks for watching! 🙏🏻😊

2 very different vehicles for different purposes. Hilux would be better at off-roading in general because you would have to do a lot of mods to a van to make it comparable to a truck for off roading. Thanks for watching! 🙏🏻

I still can't wrap my mind around the cost of these rigs. 50-60kish for the Mercedes sprinter van. 140k to build out the inside. It makes no logical sense to be charging those prices.

Completely understand. I really think it comes down to the time and labor of building one of these in general because it can take up to a year for someone to DIY a van especially if they are working full time. Thanks for watching!

It's actually about $70-$80k for the chassis (they put high end options on them) and they are in high demand. But your point is still valid, $140K after the build out is excessive. Especially since the coach build is most often the part that has shoddy fit and finish. Thor and the other van coach builders are the one's cutting the corners. I just bought one with less than a 1k miles on it and there was stuff falling apart everywhere on my ride home to New Mexico. LOL But most are easy fixes.

I had Goodyear Duratracs on our 4Runner and the van is about to be close to getting new tires and we’re going to put those on. We never had the death wobble with those. Even after balancing the KO2 twice now and still have issues over 65mph. Thanks for watching!

I don’t have any issues for diesel heater cause by the leveling, also don’t have any problems with braker or fuse when use hot water，you might need to contact service to check. Mine is 2023 revel on 2022 sprinter, purchased new, but factory mis wiring the garage lights and bed lights, garage lights never can turn off, and bed lights never can turn on, also last week when I did the winterizing, I figured out something was wrong with combination water switches, going to contact the service again…😂

We’ve already been in contact with timberline and troubleshooted with them, it just how it is which is fine now we know that. Since we go dispersed camping a lot, where it’s not level at all and it can cause issues. A lot of revel owners have this issue, we’ve learned that from the Facebook groups which has helped us a lot 😊

That water heater thing is a big con especially with a finicky level sensor.

Well now the fuel pump to it isn’t working and we are going to have to replace that ourselves because to have it done at a service center is like 2 months out 🙄

I took a llok at the Revel with they first came out. For me is was too overbuilt and confined. You have a large van with Prius spacing. So no it is not only confined for fluffy people

Yep, those were the troubleshooting the manufacturer told us to do before we did more with the unit. They also told us in the 22 revels some fuel pumps were installed with a gas fuel pump instead of diesel fuel pumps for the diesel heaters.

Thanks for the information. Next time go with an upfitter like ARV to avoid the buyer remorse and design what fits your needs and wants. Big investment to be unhappy 🙁. Stay safe.

Hot water not working because the van is not level? That makes no sense. I have 60k miles on my revel and never had hot water turn off. Did you look into error code? Maybe your fuel pump was not installed correctly. If hot water turns off, so does heat. Again makes no sense.

We have other videos on our channel going over the fixes we have done on the van. None of these vans come perfect off the lot. A lot of people have these issues from what we seen in Revel Groups and how to fix them. Thanks for watching!

That’s my point, you say you do t like the revel because it has to be level to use the heater. That’s not true, the van has an issue that needs to be fixed. You do t like that the van came with issues. You have channel and need to file something. After 60k miles in 2 years, I think the Revel is an incredible van. Yep, mine came with issues too. I fixed them and moved on. I also expected them, it’s an RV.

Van life is a different world and it's not for everybody.

I'm sorry, but It seems like you're reaching for things to hate. Everything could have been fixed by not balancing your own tires (who does that?), the warrenty, or realizing they stuck an entire RV with a full shower into a 144" wheelbase sprinter.

We totally get it!! It’s not for everyone. We definitely had to do a lot of work ourselves. We just had to have a new fuel pump sent to us for the diesel heater since it’s still not work 😂
