First thing i did was put a 1tb in my daughter's steamdeck😁 then jsuax plate, screen protector, skelly themed skin and lastly rubber case, ordered the stuff way before i got her the deck😅

I'm watching this video on my docked Steam Deck.

First, I thank you for this informative video. You're right. . Play some games first, then figure out the extras. But at 8:25 I was hoping for a cut from Master Tatsu from the original Ninja Turtles movie where a kid ran into him, feared for his safety, and then Tatsu says "go...play."

Is there a tutorial on tweak settings on steam for optimised perfomance?

Just bought one on sale last night...😝 Got the 512gb model.. Couldn't pass it up because of the sales going on at 20% off.. looking forward to checking it out when it arrives..

😂my wife just came in the house with mines. Couldn’t decide if I wanted the new one or the old version since it was on sale. I don’t really care about the upgrades on the newer version. She got it for $300 512 GB and threw in $20 for him to hold it until she got to him. She even got me a 512 Samsung Evo card ($29 Amazon) a kit that comes with a case, thumb caps, grip sticks, touch protectors ($6 Amazon) and a skin ($15 Amazon) to apply on my deck. First game i downloaded was GTAV & Mon Bazou. Its winter sale as well and R* had most of their games on sale so I got GTA 4, Bully, LA Noire all for $5.99 and I grabbed Sleeping Dogs & Saints Row 2 for $2.50 each. Epic games also gave the new Saints Row reboot out for free so I got that too and a bunch of demos to try out. I’ve been playing GTAV Online as well since I only modded it on my PC which is great because now I can have my mods on PC & a unmodded version on my deck. I own a lot of games on series X & my ps4 so I also add Xbox cloud play & remote play for PlayStation as well. I love this thing & my wife for surprising me on our anniversary! Happy holidays everyone!

So I cannot FIND the GE-Proton it doesn’t matter how I type it. It never pops up? Kinda frustrating :/ bc a lot the games I’m trying to play that are “Verified” don’t work at all and I was hoping to try this.

The application you want in the discover app is called "ProtonUp-QT" Which can help you install Proton-GE.

If theres one thing I can suggest, get other emulators than EmuDeck, since it is practically malware since you cant delete the files once you install them.

@@donniedarko4497 It's possible that not everyone will need the extra benefits provided by CU, especially if only emulating retro games or playing indies 😉 Also, CU doesn't install PowerTools or Decky, so that was definitely worth a shout-out here just as much as the rest of these tips.
