  FF14 is actually on a two day maintenance not coming back online till the 28th for early access to dawntrail. During the early access period at least, I believe they said priority login will go to subscription players over free trial players, just in case anyone tried to play before the 28th/ the free trial for the next couple weeks <3

  I’ve actually started preferring my Switch for offline gaming because too many games I want to play require an online connection, even some single player games. Same goes for game purchases, if I see there’s DRM I just opt for the Switch version if I can.

  Boltgun is literally the best Warhammer video game I’ve played so far, to the point I even made a custom Malum Caedo mini out of the intercessor kit (which I had bits of lying around) and the sternguard kit I had just gotten.   So to play something like Elden Ring or RDR 2 a Micro SD would work fine and load fairly fast if shadercache is installed in the original Steam Deck SSD?

  Shader cache mostly benefits actual game performance. Load times from a MicroSD card will still be slower than using your internal SSD but in my experience load times from MicroSD isn't too bad. Major AAA titles will of course load a LOT faster from an SSD.

  I'm running into a similar issue. I'm trying to learn Steam Input by setting up a Steam Deck trackpad only config in No Man's Sky with paddles changing what the trackpad does but I can't access any custom layers I make while in the game.

  Just want to say thanks for this video because I got the Deck Oled about 2 weeks ago and I recently found out about the GPU clock setting. I also wondered about the half rate shading and thankfully you cleared it up to just not enable it. Thanks for the time saved and everything explained simply and quickly.

  I've played the entirety of the original release on my Steam Deck using Controller Controls and it works great. While some jumps are a little trickier on controller, I was able to play the game from start to finish with little issue. I'm actually planning on going back to this game since they just released a massive new content update for free.

  Oh this is great news. I read somewhere that a dude claimed it was designed for keyboard and mouse and had trouble with gamepad So glad to see this come to consoles. This game and Tevi, were both among those smaller indie not well known but fantastic games that kept popping up in game forums. Anyone played Tevi by chance? And is Rusted Moss worth the $20 launch price ?
