For viewers who don’t know this sport; this guy is one of the most decorated players of the modern era. He’s won many titles with Real Madrid and has been starting for BRAZIL for a little over a decade. Until the last couple of years, he’d make the team of the year (or at worst maybe the 3rd best left back in the world) for that season.

Don't just say "many titles with Real Madrid". He is our (Real Madrid's) most decorated player. In all of our history he's the player with the most titles, 25, and he achieved this along the 19 years that he played for us. Having left the club only a couple of days ago... as nothing less than LEGEND🙌🏾

Thank God the USA will host another World Cup, imagine the amount of people who don’t know who this guy is, this man is already bigger than any NBA or NFL franchise. Played for the biggest team in the world, won almost every title he faced and became an all time left back in history. And he’s not even considered among the GOAT’s of football. Marcelo is legendary, and that’s a lot for the biggest sport in the world.

When I was an 8 year old boy and was falling in love with football this man's style and charisma enticed me to watch the game. And his style of play was so beautiful. Now I'm 19 and not as in love with football anymore but definitely still a fan of this LEGEND regardless of that

I was born and raised in the USA so I love this country I can’t lie and yeah I have Mexican origins but growing up I loved Football ⚽️ it didn’t get acknowledged like it is now but besides that ,Marcelo was one of those players that really made me love this sport and I use to play his counter position Right Back ,yes I’m a Real Madrid fan so of course I root for him in every thing he does You guys have no idea how much I love this player he’s done so much for us he is a Legend .
