Yeah so I'm somewhat of a firearms historian and after watching all 3 seasons of Narcos, I just couldn't get over some of the small arms used in it because they weren't even around back in the 80's and 90's but that Hollywood for you.

But the Galil was around in the 80s and 90s? The south african R4 was based off of it which was used in the Bush war during the 80s. And the UZI which is quite common in the show was also around in the 80s and 90s. Which guns were used in the show that weren't around then?

I can justify it. If Pablo Escobar was american, he would have get away with everything he did. He is only a "bad guy" because he threatened the most powerful people of his era, and because he was colombian.
2:24 I can’t find anything on this, can u give more info on the cassette I wanna get that playlist damn
The accent of pablo in the show as a colombian my self kills me, the only reason I recommend people not to watch the show. “El patron del mal” is a way better show

"His biggest victim"? Huh, and I was thinking it might be all the people he had brutally murdered and tortured.
Lol I still haven't watched NARCOS but watching PABLO ESCOBAR a Netflix series avaliable in Spanish ! Seems authentic and quite more interesting
Haracio Carillo incorruptible? He threw people out of airplanes and killed children... You got the wrong definition of incorruptible.
"... in words that convey -a mixture of generosity and- extreme Narcissism...." I feel would have been better....
Related to the actor who played Escobar's comments referenced in the last video, I'd say that all drugs should be legalised and regulated, with addiction treated for what it is: a public health issue, and with that in mind, there should be treatment available for people in a socialised healthcare system. We are a bit closer to this with alcohol and look at the state of things during the times of Prohibition (of alcohol - and let's remember that alcohol is a drug). The illegality spawned monsters like Al Capone, who was almost the archetypal Pablo Escobar of his day. It allowed the mob to thrive and drugs today allow for OCGs to wreak havoc upon the planet, due to huge levels of supply and demand but, more crucially, gigantic profits. It is for these reasons, amongst others, that drugs are kept illegal: the prohibition model allows for law enforcement to play cops and robbers, whether it is under-covers busting small time street dealers to try and catch bigger fish, but only usually catching what LE sometimes call "low-hanging fruit", big busts that catch a few hundred keys coming into a dock and a couple of "players" taken out, even though there is another shipment on it's way and there are always new players, eager to get into the game. Prohibition also employs correctional officers, lawyers, judges, private prison shareholders - the list goes on, but the biggest winners in the drug game are, naturally, the banks. That drug money doesn't get stashed under mattresses - it has to be cleaned, and as such, it flows into the supposedly "legal" GDP of nations and the world economy in general. There are more arguments in favour of legalisation from the point of view of creating a better society, cutting down on the grotesque levels of violence and the corruption of the drug trade, amongst other things, but the powers-that-be like it just the way it is. It keeps everybody rich and happy, unless you are an addict, an expendable street dealer, an innocent victim of a shoot-out - endless victims, but the banks don't care. I admire the actor for his performance of Pablo Escobar but also for his stance on drugs and I can see how he came to that conclusion, by studying his character. Anyone with half a brain knows that the "War on Drugs" is a joke - just a money making machine like any other war. They even say this in the show.
