I think it is because Adrien can be controlled and forced really easily as he was literally manipulated and controlled his whole life but how Marinette responded was UNBELIEVABLE as she had a crush on Adrien for years!

In my opinion, Mari did good. Mari wasn’t toxic, I’m pretty sure if you see your husband/wife cheating on you with another person, you’d do the same as Mari. Seeing your partner cheat on you is so painful that it’s like you don’t even need them to explain. Once someone cheats on a relationship, there’s no reason to stay. They could resolve the issue by talking with each other after a few days. And who knows, what if Adrian was lying? Adrian doesn’t have evidence to tell Mari that he didn’t cheat, Mari saw Adrian kissing Lie-la with her own eyes.

@@TheLakey bro- I'm not picking sides but Marinette is clearly wrong too, she didn't even let adrien explain, a relationship deserves to have trust by both the people. If Mari doesn't believe adrien, then I dont think they're meant to be, if Mari has been dating adrien for so long, she should damn know well that adrien wouldn't cheat on her especially with lila. The fact that Marinette did not believe Adrien shows exactly how much trust they have in this relationship. Marinette clearly overreacted. I feel bad for Adrien honestly. Its clear she'll overreact due to the fact she saw a photo and saw it with her eyes. If you think it's easy to just trust after witnessing something like that shows you know nothing about relationship, if Adrien happened to have cheated and she just trust him after it'll lead to a different and a horrible outcome.
