I had this kind of love for 40 years with my husband. I was a very blessed woman. I miss him very much, and I would do anything for just one more day together. Even a good marriage is never easy...There was a lot to learn at first, but we both respected each other, and worked out our differences. We never went to bed angry or upset, and most of all we showed each other how special we were by leaving little gifts laying around the house for each other to find....Sometimes it was just a simple daisy from the yard, or a note telling me how he loved what I made for dinner or a text when he was at work telling me he was thinking of me. I don't know what I did to be loved by such a man.

brenme35 No he did not cheat. He had a lot of past baggage he couldn't let go of. His ex wife. they both own a house when they were married after their divorce. He bought her share out. But she never moved out of their house which was totally his after the divorce. However she got remarried had a child. She continued to live in the same house with her new family. She had my ex wrapped around her little finger they refuse to pay for anything for the house. While we lived together. We were only married for 27 years. It's nothing for anyone to make fun of. I died inside for many years. I had never endured such deep pain. But it was a long time ago. His ex wife, himself , her husband and their son all continue to live in the same house as one big family. He had no backbone to stand up to her. She won. I lost the love of my life. . I've never dated since. Have no desire to do so. There you got your questions answered.

Aaaaww thats really sad..i actually had a similar situation early on in my relationship but Thankgod when i told him i cant do the back and forth either wrk it out with your X or move forward...we had split and he went back and realised that she didnt and could never love him the way i did...I wasnt gaining anything by being with him..I had my own place and my daughter i was doin it alone and could of continued...but once he saw for himself we wrked it out and are now married and expecting a son...But it makes me feel bad when i hear someone else has gone through this because i remember how said i was when we split and i would cry myself to sleep and ask god why this happen to me? but i realized it had nothing to do with me...It had to do with him not knowing what he really wanted. I really hope something amazing happens to u and who knows when u least expect it u might find your true soulmate...God Bless love!!
