Pink is a massively underrated color for menswear. Especially for darker skin.

If you have lighter skin tone wear a pink buttoned shirt, unbuttoned with a white crew neck tee under it. That will help break up the brightness of pink. Wear some darkish blue flat front chinos shorts with it as well. With some white sneakers with brown gumsoles, or some brown driver loafers. The trick with pink is to wear something that tones down the brightness of it. Its a great color. Goes with more things than most people think.

You’re on point about summer dress for older guys.

I agree with everything except tank tops and muscle shirts.

I wear my Yankee jersey up here in The Bronx and I'm in my 50's but honestly that's what I wear once in a while with some denim shorts and some white sneakers but other than that I follow this guy's tips. Been doing it for years. I'm cool with the cargo shorts, but they can't be baggy. That don't look right

I definitely agree with not wearing slides or sandals in a casual setting. My rule of thumb is, I only wear slides around the house or on the beach! I always thought it was ridiculous to wear them unless in those situations! Keep up the good work bro 👍🏿

Flip flops are good for showers too; prevents slips and athlete's foot. I also wear them if I'm just going to hang out at a friend's place.

I live in Tucson, AZ, and I have worked in the Phoenix metro area. 100% natural fabrics are typically better in the heat. Tropical weight wool pants and cotton dress shirts aren't bad in the heat. Also, stay hydrated.

Most things you stated I agree with. However i must say i like baggy clothes. Not extremely baggy but say some loose fit pants that is slighly wider than normal in the leg or a shirt that is maybe one size bigger than normal but it still has a athletic fit. I find those clothes more comfortable than others.

I got all these styles down except I do wear flip flops by timberland. I live in Phoenix, Az, and it’s over 110 degrees just about every other day. Always over 100 degrees at least until October

Jeff, what do you have on summer hats/caps?

I keep it simple in the summer in The Bronx: denim shorts, white ot light colored t-shirts and white sneakers.

Lenin and cotton for suits are a must

Beard dying. Explain to these cats that are 40+, (Tyler Perry, Kevin Hart) dying your beard actually makes you look older. KH seems to have come around and starting to embrace the salt/pepper look; but TP looks crazy.

Great video. Thanks very much. One thing I noticed in recent years is that some brands of men’s short-sleeve shirts are too wide around the waist. They are not form fitting at all. More line pear shaped. You need to find the right brand for your body type.

When he talks about alternatives to jeans I would also recommend certain joggers. The BYLT Everyday 2.0 pants are stylish casual option, and my favorites (especially if you’re in shape). The Cuts AO joggers are a bit more casual than the BYLT pants, but still a stylish, comfortable option
