Yes tenor died in 88, a year after I was born. I'd even heard of general echo and tenor and nitty gritty's deaths as well as Jacob Miller and Hugh Mundell. Police is accused of being in those twos death

I was little and people were bawling. I wasn't born when Bob marley died so can only imagine especially watching his funeral

It's not a matter of protecting our artists half of them get into a lot of things and lie about them on tour in NY my youth each of them just have to stay focus on the right thing

The slack lyrics and gun lyrics of some dancehall artists hurt the poor of Jamaica the worst. In this sense dancehall artists who sing these lyrics are enemies of their own family, friends and communities. They truly know better but corrupt their fans for the money. Having grown up poor it is understandable that they do this, but still results in an act of mental violence against their own friends, family and community.

Why because he apparently said he'd pay the killer for a crime he committed then went back on it? That's been around from the start. I was born a few weeks before Peter died and always heard that. Edit, a few weeks after

They blamed Nitty Gritty for getting him involved with dodgy people. Nitty Gritty was also killed allegedly by another well known Jamaican artist

For example King Tubby and Junjo Lawes were bigger Producers by far than Roach, As these were known to a wider Population worldwide and all over Europe, Roach was only know to the Younger Generation, Tubby and Junjo have a bigger Music Catalouge.

I knew Carlton Barrett and Junior Braitwaite. Braitwaite was killed by the same "entities" who killed Bob to prevent him from making any claims to Bob's $$$. Closer than you think. That's all I am going to say. Karma a lick dem now though.
