It is a Greek word.
By no means demure in nature nor elision in her words, her voice made him feel effervescent as he imagined to be with her by the inglenook in his house on a cold winter day. While swimming in the lagoon, oh so lithe, and each stroke so mellifluous reflecting her opulent upbringing, he realized she was quintessential to his being. This meeting purely by serendipity had changed his life.

What a peculiar choice of a favourite word.
My favourite word in english (or one of them) is "envelope" - not because of its meaning, just because it sounds exceptionally sophisticated to my German ears 😄 (might be because we call it BRIEFUMSCHLAG - it's got the rough German R and the hissed German SH in it, also the part "Umschlag" is a term of the word group "to hit" so... Yeah. Not as beautiful)

Fair, as in beautiful or juste... that’s my favorite word, it’s of pure English etymology, comes from old English’s Fæger, meaning pleasing or attractive, and pronounced like Feh-yer (roll the R), æ is pronounced like A, as in ash but with an American accent (not like British “Aw”)

I find the word "Conspicuous" kind of beautiful . I recently learnt it and I am using it a lot in writting essays .
Lucy has remarkable articulation which is very appropriate and meaningful from the standpoint of teaching; she has all the capabilities and that's why she is well competent teacher!!!!!!!!
