My golden retriever is 10 months now . Always happy , adrenaline derived . I have never left him home alone a single day , working from home , never went out , took him along on trip , If I go he go. If he would be a Human , he could've been the best one . . Such a gentlemen

My Italian Greyhound is a true Velcro dog. I never leave him alone.We sleep together and since I’m retired, he’s with me 24/7 and I love it

Me either to the bathroom situation, but it's not because they're lonely. They've always done this & it's a common part of their breed. One of mine does wait for me right outside the shower & he absolutely loves my lotion. His favorite is Vanilla Bean Noel from Bath & Body Works.

Well researched topic and observations. Anyone taking up a pet should have full knowledge of the requirements, responsibility and well being of the pet.

Of course they do, we're lucky I'm retired so I'm home with her and if I have to go out she comes along with me. If I can't take her with me I just don't go out, easy solution. A friend of mine had a serious medical condition and needed to go to our local hospital so he took his dog with him. They wouldn't allow his dog entry so he sat on their steps with his pooch they gave in.

I am so happy to be retired and providing the best home for a dog with traumatic past and now has separation anxiety (aIso have a backup when I have to Ieave her for a short time, which is seldom). At Ieast when I was younger and had to go to work, I worked cIose to home (went home for Iunch) and had at Ieast 2 dogs to keep each other company, with access to the backyard.

Some times it's because they are old and not wanting to eat as much. My dog sleeps with me at night and during the day he's in my lap as he is now. Almost everything in this house has my scent on it so he has plenty of my scent to keep him company. Also it sometimes best if they do stay home because you can't take them into the store and you definitely don't want to leave them in your vehicle in either hot or cold days. Oh and he does have a friend to be with my brother's dog as we live together, my brother and I. God bless.

Ever since her sister passed..

So my dog have all 10 signs! But she never stay home alone , when I am at work she stay with my parents at a house with a big yard and two other dogs that they are playing together all day! When we returned home I take her for a walk and after that we playing together at the garden , but when we are go inside the home present all the above signs! Why ?

My doggie and I like to read together. The workbook called 30 Days to Overcome Loneliness by Harper Daniels is a nice meditation guide I like too.

My dog chewed my control just 1 time showed it to him screaming bad dog gave him a good spanking problem fixed I can leave any controller around and he won't fuck with it.

Hitting your dog is NOT the way to train him, that only made him afraid of you AND the remote it didn’t teach him anything YOU ARE not the person I would consider a good fur baby owner…. Just my opinion😤

⁠@@lynnnash1175i don’t spank mine very hard or often just when necessary but the reason why i rescued mine took him of the streets 6-7 months old mixed german shepherd but at first i had to discipline a little now he’s well behaved excited to see me because he better know that im the only feeds him everyday. now thats my opinion , discipline and reward

I'm so sorry to read this, you seem very proud of yourself for having spanked your doggy - you are a very bad pet parent : all you have to do to ensure good behaviour is explain things to them in a firm tone and repeat the instructions 3 or 4 times without getting excited; ignore bad behaviour and reward good behaviour with a lot of love and cuddles and praise and treats. Dogs are highly intelligent, loving and loyal - they will learn in no time just to please you. You have to have patience which you will have if you have a heart that is filled with love and caring.
