Sharing my experiences over the last 11000 kms - Power is good for carrying loads but not for sprinting - overtaking from slow speeds is difficult but easy when already in motion due to 2 tonne weight helping with inertia, works like a pickup jeep, ample bottom end pulling available due to high axle and gear ratio but leads to bad acceleration speeds. - for ground clearance no matter how much they flatten the control arms , Gurkha will touch beneath whenever driven fast as the suspension is very soft. - after seeing the music system now I also want this screen❤ - electronics are irritating on this jeep, my power window has failed repeatedly , need to bang on the door to make it work 😅. -articulation is very limited due to strong anti roll bars that’s why it feels stable for the height but need for diff locks arises earlier than other jeeps with better articulation. -economy is definitely above 11 with proper gear shifting as per the engine character, I have managed to do above 13.5 kmpl as well when alone, I usually ride with 3-4 people onboard. -getting in and out becomes tiring at times and even middle aged unfit people struggle at times, but better than front entry 3 door jeeps anyday where front passenger has to move out every time for the rear ones. - interiors always look bad in videos but not in person, completely livable.

This is Under Power SUV .....one of the Worst Engine among all

Ye banda sahi hai ,usne jo gadi li us se khus hai..aur satisfied hai...

Force Motors is the GMC of India. Mind boggling products, but equally bad after sales.

I also own this new Gurkha. Average is 9.45 to 9.68 kmpl. Rest video is awesome.

@@typicallyvirgo yes, Mostly I drived this vehicle in all conditions including extreme off roading at my place with long idling if required. It may give 10 kmpl if these things done are neglected.

Red guy has love in his eyes when was looking around for cons. So sweet.

Almost ended up buying New Gurkha (it was love at first sight esp after having driven Thar Crde for 8 yrs which i still love) but when I measured the GC below the front lower arm after the test drive...it became a deal breaker right away! Unless Force does something to bring it to atleast above 220-225 mm in that area, there will not be many takers!

Owner statement is bit controversial. Firstly he said it doesnt matter if company has lowered car's bhp from 140 to 91 because he dnt drive fast. Now he said he opt for 4*4 because on hills 4*2 cars always stay behind 4*4 . For your info even alto goes well in leh ladakh.

Safari vx 3litre owner here and drove solo from Mumbai to kargil Amy Base and back...and not even coolant needed to top after return to Mumbai in 7500kms. Went via Manali and return home via Kashmir. Body roll was fun in leh kargil areas 🤣

I do have a Gurkha and we use it as our family car ..

Gurkha is definitely one of the best off-roaders! It lacks that finishing touches and also they need to work out on those swing arms to increase the ground clearance and a little bit more power will make a killer machine!

For tyre size for an off road vehicle, it's important to have bigger size SideWalls than the Rim Size. That's the reason in MM THAR, the City model has 18inch where as Adventure has 16inch. However the bigger side wall compensates the height of the tyre, hence Ground Clearence will be same for both

Fuel range pehle bhi nai dikhti. Admi yad rakhta tha ,dimag lagata tha ki last time ke hisab se is bar Kitna degi approx. Same with GPS , banda pehle directions ke lie spots learn karta tha patterns learn karta tha , ab hum kafi dependent hain. But kabhi kabhi Bina gadgets ke chalna chaie :D

Force needs to refine the engine and improve the interior and add ESP. The power figures for the fuel consumption of the engine is not justified,(pata chal jata hai ki puraani generation ki engine h). Thar on the other hand is not practical. Decided to buy scorpio N at the end.
