Actually the killer clowns was real especially in Minnesota I live on lake superior and there was numerous groups of clowns seen and arrested from numerous places. Cemetery's and schools even church's and in the middle of the woods. They always had some sort of weapon as well from something simple like a blunt baseball bat and as far as machete. Multiple people were kidnapped during this time our missing persons increased by 14% during that time and most of which were children. I know they did hurt quite a few people as well but I don't believe anyone was killed in my area but Minneapolis on the other hand did have murders.

Me and my brother were on a country bike ride one day and we came to a bridge we needed to go over and there was some dude standing there in a clown suit (This was in the middle of the crazy clown shit and this trail was in the back end of nowhere) We just turned around and cycled back down the trail and then noticed the person was running after us... We didn't see any weapons but it was eerie as fuck after seeing some of the shit happening in America 🙃

In high school during the clown craze my friend went off to do something then came back sprinting, screaming “clown! clown!”. I fell into swamp water trying to escape. Couple years later he told me there was no clown. I got a nasty swamp infection in my leg for no reason lol

Story time about the clowns- back in 2016 me and my family went up to Sydney to stay for a few days we only lived 1 hour 30 away and we loved it there the first night we got there we got a room and my parents were going to watch the news and that’s when the clowns appeared on the news killing and frightening children, and later that night the hotel we got a text message from the hotel staff saying that 3 clowns were outside the building it terrified us we put cabinets in front of the door in case they could get in and We all hid in our beds till it was over next morning we saw 20 rooms had been broken into 2 of which were the rooms next to us so instead of staying a few days we stayed one day and left that morning

The killer clowns were freaky. When that was going on a friend and I were walking to our cars on our college campus-which is surrounded by woods- and we heard a really creepy laugh and saw a clown with a butcher knife come from the woods. It started coming our way so we ran and hit every emergency call button we passed until a college police officer stopped us and had us get into his vehicle while he and another officer confronted the clown. It scared the crap out of us, because the dude was high as hell and had apparently attacked another person before he came on campus

Something similar to the UK petrol crisis happened here in South Africa a few months ago. A lot of the disadvantaged citizens broke out into a mass riot, started looting all the stores and destroyed infrastructure. For obvious reasons remaining stores and businesses had to shut down temporarily for their own safety, with the exception of a few. With the realization of food scarcity due stock deliveries not being able to get into the affected cities .. people started to panic buy, emptying remaining store shelves and gas stations. It was mayhem. But fortunately it was short lived as things settled back down just over a week later

Engineers were working to fix the problem long before it became something the public even knew would be a problem. My father was a progammer who worked on fixing the issue. Also a big factor for it being passed as a rumor was that the general public didn't really understand how y2k would affect a computer's functionality and assumed it would be a lot worse than it actually would have been if the bug wasn't fixed.

I remember the time when everyone talked about how the world will end in 2012. Good times !!! 😁😁

Y2K Didn't occur, but it was only due to thousands of hours spent by programmers updating computers to ensure they weren't affected

Yes the killer clowns started as a joke but it did end in a lot of bad situations and violence

Remember the whole 2012 thing. I was 12 years old and in grade 6, and just ended up forgetting all about it in the end, and it got to 2013 and my friends and family would always say "well we're still here". The clown thing felt like only yesterday. Remember the clown incidens where everyone dressed up in clown costumes scaring people? can't remember if it happened in 2018 or 2019. Remember here in Australia people were doing it, wearing clown costumes, people filming them chasing peoples cars just to scare them. Was a weird time. Thankfully I never encountered them, but was a bit scared that these people were psychopaths or something.

I remember the killer clown thing, such a fun time, growing up I idk why but enjoyed the clown thing and the 24 hour challenges in toys r us
