Thanks for this video. My wife has been traveling to Peru every year because she is from Lima and all her family still lives there. We are based out of New Jersey. I've recently started to travel to Peru every year as well and have been vlogging it. A few months ago we visited Huacachina and Paracas. Beautiful places that we hope to visit again.

I was in Europa and i love my country and miss my country when im far away because apart from everything you just said the vibes around here is different from europe. I feel happier here i see more people laughing talking walking chatting instead of whatching serious faces in from of a phone or acting like robots.

I do like the country as well, I’ve been there once and I can confirm your 10 reasons de love it. Especially the surprise was the cuisine and its variety so delicious 👍👍👍. I really want to go to Peru!! And your videos tempt me even more! :) I love the food already(thanks to Amazon I can find pretty much all ingrediants) and I'm passionate about history! I'm just a little worried about the water situation... Do you have any recommendations to help avoid getting sick? It would really reassure me as I know you have a lot of experience with Peru and South America. I would stick to bottled water and be wary of ice but I don't want to limit myself to much either as I really want to experience the food scene, ceviche, ahi de gallina, tallarine de pollo, etc...

Been enjoying your world travels for a couple years now. My dad is from Jesus Maria my mom from Arequipa. They are U.S. Citizens now. I was born in Jersey currently living in Los Angeles. I haven't gone to Peru yet. My grandma on my mom's side had 15 kids & then some of my mom's sisters had like 10 kids. So needless to say I have a huge family down there. A lot of them are here too though in the NJ/NY area. I like that you guys traveled to different regions of Peru & got a better feel for the entire country. The top 25 video on Peruvian food surprised me with several dishes I & some in my family never heard of. Keep up the great work you guys do. Your one of my favorite world travelers to watch. It's especially cool that your a couple too!

Audrey and Samuel, I was born in the Dominican Republic, but haven't been there in Ages..... I heard before about "la criminalidad" ha Subido bastante, but NOT in the Tourist towns, and I know there are regions where They cultivate flowers, and agriculture. But is mostly inland. The Dominican Republic is Beautiful Place, but You have to Research it before heading there and See if is something that you find interesting. The Dominican Republic has mountains ( Cordillera Central ), rivers, inland, Caribbean Sea Coast, and I think it has a dessert too.

Good Morning, If You ever Visit the Dominican Republic, make sure to Visit the Agriculture towns, like Constanza is One of them. But Main Dominican Dishes that You might find interesting are MANGU (made of green plantains and very famous dish ) make Sure You Get it with Salami Dominicano and fried onions, or Carne and Carne Sauce. Next, Habichuela con Dulce ( made of pinto beans and is a dessert made of beans, but is sweet, but is Unique to DR ). Dulce de Naranja ( made of the Orange Peel ). Another Very Famous Dominican Dish is MOFONGO - made with mashed green plantains and Chicharron. And, MONDONGO - real delicious dish. Also, is Berenjena. And Bacalao. There are So many dishes that You Can enjoy.

The Dominican Republic has Mountains ( La Cordillera Central ), Beaches with Turquoise Waters ( not All of them ), Agriculture, Ranches, and I think there is a Dessert. But to Stay Safe....Look for Tourist towns.

The BEST TIME to Travel to DR is when is Winter in Canada, because the Heat is Too Much in the Summer Months. It has Some Nice Waterfalls too. But You would have to REsearch it. And is Only 25-30 Minutes flight to Puerto Rico from there. And I think there is a Trip by Ferri or Boat that takes You from island to island....Good to REsearch it. Have a GOOD DAY.

I agree with all of your points. It's amazing how Peru, a developing country, has better food than England, a fully developed country. One thing I don't like about Peru, is that households don't have bins, the rubbish is placed in bags and left on the streets to pick up. I don't know why the hell they don't give every house a bin!! Another thing I don't like is how Peruvian Spanish is often spoken extremely fast and there's lots of slang and words from other languages, this makes it really difficult for those of us learning Spanish. I wasn't aware of a train network in Peru? Arequipa is nice, if very polluted in parts, spent a lot of time there, it's a beautiful city.

Thank you! Spanish from which country do you find the easiest to understand?
@disarmsox

Bolivia... they just speak just that little bit slower. Some peruvians were rude to me or got annoyed/impatient with me when I didn't understand their spanish. I don't think it's an easy country to learn spanish.
