This video showcasing the world's most expensive cars was simply amazing! I was blown away by the level of luxury and sophistication in each vehicle. It's incredible to see the attention to detail and the use of cutting-edge technology in the design and engineering of these cars. I can only imagine the thrill of driving one of these beauties. Thanks for sharing this video and giving us a glimpse into the world of high-end automobiles!

Hi 💐
When I was 14, I told my master mechanic Dad, that I hated riding the smelly school bus. So, he bought a 1959 Studebaker station wagon. He cut off the top of the back and made it a bench up front with a rumble seat in back, which sat out in the open. He ramped it up to make it have some 300 HP with a 289 engine block. Before paved roads to the beach they were mostly sand and dirt. So, I'd take all of my friends to the beach sliding all over the place as we hit the curves at high speed. It was great. Dad painted it silver and installed mag wheels. Back in the 60's, it was a big hit. It was a small town and the police were afraid of my Dad because of his massive build so they never said a word seeing me at age 14, drive 20 miles to school. I had the greatest Dad and I miss the days we raced 1/4 mile, stock and demolition derby. He started me racing at age six with go carts that he built himself.

The Tucker 48 has always been an awesome car to me. I'd love to own one somehow. I know one big issue with those cars is the suspension. They use these solid rubber blocks that flex, instead of springs. Nice and tight when new, but when they're worn it sounds like a nightmare.

Fun fact: Last car number 1 The 1955 Jaguar was the same car actor James Dean had ordered; was in route to be delivered to him when he met his fatal encounter in the 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder. Rumor has it, he was supposed to be driving the Jaguar, but do to it’s delay of delivery he had taken the Porsche 550.

9:25 - nice to see the Bugatti Royale here; back in about 1984, when the one that soon after sold for for $9.7 million was residing at the Briggs Cunningham auto museum in Orange County CA, I was hired to repair and recolor its leather interior. From that point on, rather than have to compile a list of all my customers for my resumé - all the various high-end auto aficionados, body shops and upholstery shops, etc., that I did this kind of work for - all I had to say was "I restored the interior of the $9,700,000 Bugatti Royale," and that said more about my mastery of my trade than all the rest...

The D type Jag was the first car to use disc brakes, at 24hr Le Mans race Mercedes, Porsche etc were still using drum brakes the Jag could brake much later going into corners without brake fade, it took at least 2 or 3 years for the others to catch on, plus the Jag had plenty decent top speed on Mulsane straight around 180mph from a 6 cylinder engine, think they won 3 years in a row!!

Propellers are powered, essentially, by a twisted inner tube. You get that innertube twisted up, nice and tight, and let that mofo go, it will spin the bejeebees out of that propeller, sending your plane or boat off into the sunset, at a rapid speed. Jet turbines work in a similar way, with a more complex system of innertubes. That system has tube winding and counter winding, that is self resetting, so you can go further and faster.

My bus on the way to school in the 1960s passed a car dealers in Ilford Lane. There was a beautiful blue Jaguar E-Type Fixed Head Coupé on the lot. I decided it was going to be mine just as soon as I finished school, got a well paid job and a driving licence etc. Then one day it was gone. I never did own one. Now, I couldn't get in one. But that E-Type is still the most beautiful thing I've ever seen.

@@exessex3522 first engine I rebuilt was an inline 6 out of a 1972 E type. That was in the mid 1970’s. Getting machine work wasn’t a problem, the problem was getting the bits and bobs for the cylinder head when the nearest Jag dealer was 75 miles away and their parts department didn’t carry anything except service parts and parts for cars still under warranty. The wait for valve guides and seats was six weeks and shipping was 1/3rd of the total ticket. I don’t miss the “good old days” one shitting bit.
Now that's a machine right there

@owenh1713

Yeah.. "Jagwire" (shudder) was one of the reasons. But other reasons are an unfortunate lack of research before making the video and an equal lack of solid fact throughout the video. (Like for example.. The Ford GT40 was NOT engineered in America - It began as what was essentially a small volume British sports car named the Lola GT. This was fitted with a Ford V8 engine and then British and American engineers collaborated to uprate the rest of the mechanicals to end up with the Ford GT 40 Mk 1 - The "Gulf" was not part of the model designation, Gulf Oil were initially the major sponsors of the Ford Team for Le Mans, that's all. Its a Ford GT40 Mk2 in Gulf Oil colours.. that's all)
