To blatantly rip off YT indie geek culture critic MauLer, these matches aged like a fine urine sample...🙄 BTW, I know McMahon & his "booking committee" (Frak you, Vince!) are notoriously tone deaf, but how in Hell did that weight machine hanging stunt get on the damned show?! For a guy who basically disappeared ANY references to the Benoit tragedy on his programming, that bit is unconscionable.

I still haven't forgiven WWE for their transgression on The Fiend by having Goldberg run through him like some jobber. This is why we groan when legends come back to WWE, because they will always put them over the guys that's there for the long-haul.

Would you rather have The Fiend being fed to Roman Reigns and had his entire momentum and credibility stopped dead in its tracks? I would say that WWE did this on purpose to distance Reigns and Wyatt from one another, because there would've been riots if "Superman" Reigns won the title from The Fiend.

I was genuinely actually starting to get behind her for once near the end of the storyline. The logical payoff should’ve at least been a tables match at TLC, but not even that happened. They just had to make Charlotte grand slam champion immediately upon her return from vacation. She’s really coming across as an entitled, spoiled bitch. Watch her beat Asuka *AGAIN* at WM.

Adam : I still remember you FREAKIN OUT on R Truth vs Curtis Axel at Fast lane 2016. I hope you remember that match.

that elmination match should of been Shayna coming out at number 5 and killing everyone. Waiting 5 minutes heckling the crowd and having a 15 minute match with Asuka and still winning.

It could have just been Shayna vs Asuka in a 20-25 minute No Holds Barred Match with Shayna only beating Asuka, but Asuka fighting and fighting until she is put to sleep

Even when people go “But this got ratings and attention!”, I still look at this and go... why though? Like in the point of Wrestlemania, a dream match between Goldberg Vs Roman (which still didn’t happen) would’ve been just fine without the title.

@@r.a.s6410 I'm afraid the same could happen. Sting hasn't wrestled in years, and Rollins retired him, unfortunately. If he does wrestle again, he has to be careful. We don't want to see an icon paralyzed, especially in AEW, a company with a more TV-14 ish style.

Honestly, I forgot a number of these matches happened and the fact that, at some point, Ricochet was even US Champion.

The thing about Asuka attacking Baron Corbin during the MitB is because, for some reason, Corbin was trying to stop Asuka from grabbing her briefcase.

Just remember, they put the title on Goldberg after he almost killed The Undertaker in a match

The worst part with the PPV matches really was that there was no audience. The cheers, pops and boos from a live crowd always was an essential part of watching the shows.

When talking about Money in the bank match Adam sounded like Cornette

Goldberg's entire career was his worst.

Easy fix for the Fiend v Goldberg... Have it be just Bray Wyatt. They're in the ring, bell rings and... The Fiend seems to struggle a bit, but eventually Bray Wyatt's joy of meeting a childhood hero becomes too much, he tears the mask off with a smile, and SPEAR. 1,2,3. Now you've not only protected your new monster, but built for another match where your NEW SUPERNATURAL MONSTER can beat a grandpa. But for all of this, you'd need Goldberg to put over anyone that isn't Braun Strowman or himself, and let's be honest, he'll stop headbutting doors before he puts someone else over.

Honestly they missed the ball in the women's chamber to build Morgan up as a potential challenger. Like it's Baszler's match but why not build up someone in the process so Baszler has a eventual challenger down the line

Braun Strowman vs Goldberg or The Swamp Fight between Bray and Braun should have been here instead of Edge vs Orton

Not that it was necessarily bad, it was boring and way too long, shred its runtime by 10 to 15 minutes with all the relevant spots still in there and it wouldn't be here at all.

lol agreed , The WWE and Universal champions were good this year , Hurt business was amazing , The legend killer returning and having 3 rivalries that were amazing , Bray vs Braun rivalry , The family storyline between roman and jey... i can go on but yeah it was a great year its just people always love to complain about everything even tho we should be thankfull for how these wrestlers entertained us during a pandemic

The List makes sense except for Edge vs Orton, Yes it was long and they went around the Centre a lot and there wasn't many spots, but I think that the first and last points help it, it was an Emotional Build of a match, they had the oppertunity to tell one of the best story's in a match and they did a fine job IMO, the quiet moments, the legit pain they both felt, the parts where it was their face and noises that told the story, they didn't need Spots or crowd popping moments to do what they wanted. IMO it's one of the best matches of the year

ADAM- I'm not sure if Baron would agree with this because he might see his career in a different way than we do. But yes, I think that he deserves better. Perhaps a main event push, certainly a push in a better direction. But again, being fans, we don't know what goes on, behind the curtain. He may be happy. Also Adam, you're spot on with this list. I actually would put in money in the bank in my top 5 for cinematic matches of the year tbh. It was goofy but it was a lot of fun seeing wrestlers in a different light, almost like a reality show

I literally was shaking in anger lol after the results since I was a big fan of Bray then and of thr Fiend now. But I try to console myself with the thought of Bray's tweet after the match, he explained in a poem that Goldberg was not part of his plan, he wasn't necessary for him. His goal was facing Cena and he wouldn't been able to face a humble Cena who gives way for others on a championship match at Mania if he was still champion, so he needed to go down to Cena's level to face him. That's why he intentionally lost, he was even back up after Goldberg defeated him to show that he wasn't much hurt.
