I remember reading something from John Tenta a while back, where he said he thought the Golga gimmick was supposed to be a punishment for jumping ship to WCW years earlier. It apparently didn't work because the big man really enjoyed it because he got to put smiles on kids faces. Because John Tenta may have been the sweetest man to ever be in the business. Also, that Hulkamania helmet may be the most gloriously ridiculous thing that I've ever seen.

He really did a great job of mimicking the other wrestlers. He would have been great for some DX parody skits. I think he missed a chance though as his signature move "Haas of Pain" could have had him being some sort of early John Cena "thuganomics" clone. He could have come out to "Jump Around" by House of Pain.

I can't believe how many times people have referred to Titus O'Neil appearing as "Pancake Patterson" (the nephew of WWE Hall of Famer and Legend Pat Patterson) being a *Gimmick*, or a failed turn, or a gimmick change that didn't land/was abandoned after 1 showing. I can't believe it because I *swear* it was incredibly obvious to me that it was a *bit* that Titus O'Neil did. A comedy spot to get laughs, a rib or just a funny idea that wasn't, I was *certain* ever meant to be anything more than a one-time (or at least a rare-appearance) comedy character, not an actual try for a new long-term character/gimmick.

So I actually really liked Charlie Haas' imitation gimmick when I saw it as a kid and I was CONVINCED that he would eventually come out one week as "The Haasbreak Kid" but they never did it and I'm slightly furious about it.

My very first wrestling video was called "Inside the WWF" with a few what were then, great TV matches and Johnny Polo taking us around the WWF headquarters showing us how the show is made. He was a manager in a few of the matches and did some commentary. His commentary career could have been brilliant if he'd not turned into Raven, dude was charismatic af.

The vignettes at Raven’s family home in WCW just make me love the idea that he’s Johnny Polo but older and more grunge.

Day 1 of recommending Adam my 10 lists that he should do sometime in the future: -12 most shocking kickouts in WWE history -10 worst NXT Takeover matches ever -15 WWE champions that should’ve held on to the belt WAY longer than they actually did -10 worst mistakes WWE made with Roman Reigns -10 best wrestling matches that lasted under 10 minutes -15 best in-ring wrestling debut matches of all time -Adam’s 10 most overrated WWE matches ever -10 Wrestlemania matches that should’ve been that years main event -12 worst sellers in wrestling history -10 reasons to look forward to wrestling in 2021 (I’ll be doing this until half of these ideas are done by Adam himself. Merry Christmas, Adam. Love you lots!!)

In fairness to the Hulkster, I'd get pretty conscious over balding, too. I mean, he litarally made the WWF arcade game feature him with all 8 bits have a full head of hair.
