I live in Tennessee right now, a state that has harsh laws against cannabis. Ironic, considering that in the 1980s and 1990s Tennessee and Kentucky rivaled the west coast in terms of both quality and quantity. It's been decades since I grew my last one, years since I regularly smoked. But soon I'll be selling my house, loading up my large camping trailer and moving it to the Missouri bootheel, a little over an hour away, to be able to grow my own in its front bedroom. I've worked hard, 60+ hours a week, for decades. I've earned my early retirement.

I smoked some KY weed in 1974 in a dry county for liquor even though Bourbon was made there. Anyway, it was very potent. The best domestic I ever had at the time and for a few years after.

I got some Slurricane from Michigan a few months ago and it is definitely a great high. After a little bit of a heady high at first it slowly settles in to one of the best feeling highs I’ve ever had after 30 minutes. Pain free, happy and upbeat yet relaxed without being sleepy. As it winds down later it will lay you down for some restful sleep.

Ohio here. We just legalized weed for recreational use! I am not as excited as I thought I would be, but I am glad to finally witness this wonderful plant finally be decriminalized. I'm a long time smoker , and at 41 yrs old , I finally got to experience a recreational dispensary out in Huntington Beach , CA back in 2020. I was like a kid in a candy store. The weed out there is on a whole other level , head and shoulders above the smoke here in Ohio

IDK but the classics are STILL popular and for good reason. Death Bubba, Pink Kush, Purple Haze, LA Confidential, Durban Poison, GSC, Grand Daddy Purple, Sour Diesel, and if you can ever find it, the original Skunk. Many more but these off the top of my head.

i dont know what they did with the cannabis in Canada since legalization, but strains are not what they used to be.. Sure they look nice and smell nice but the effects dont even come close to the cannabis we had back in the early 2000's. I will never forget smoking them good strains like pink freeze, bc big bud, skunk weed that you needed 2 bags and a plastic container to hold that smell back and that first batch of purple kush and og kush, holey moley that was some amazing cannabis and i find today they lack what those strains originally had, the stone is not even close to being the same, i find weed now makes you lazy, before you would smoke a indica and you would get that first wave of creativity then obviously the hard crash after but while the high was on, man it was something else...

It’s all about candy/dessert terps and high thc percentages now days. I find the new stuff comes on very strong and is anxiety filled. Lasts for a very short time and makes me irritated or annoyed. These are the cookies/gelato and runtz types. The old school Ak, widow blueberry etc.. made you feel great and lasted for hours.

It’s not clean meds anymore. Growers used to care about what they put in their product now that it’s mainstream fungicides pesticides plant growth regulators they don’t even flush their product so every hit that you consume you just want to cough because your body wants to reject all those impurities. Such a shame I’m with you man them krypto days were nice! I could stick a nug on the window on my car. It could stay there all week.

I didn’t like the samples of slurricane i got. I didn’t grow em myself though. I do rate in house highly though. I remember they did their first pre order drop years ago on a forum I used called firestax. I pre ordered a couple of fem strains. It was the first round of drops they ever did so no one knew what they would be like. A ton of people told me they were guaranteed to herm. Some even told me they hoped they all hermed which is such an asshole thing to say. I can’t tell you how satisfying it was to grow them out and everything turned out absolutely bangin without even a tiny nanner and going on the forum and tagging in the dicks to my grow journal and rubbing it right in the faces of all the dicks that said negative shit about the beans. To this day I still rate in house. They put out solid genetics and I would gladly use em now if I still grew. I still have a few beans left from them in the vault in case I want to do another grow.

@happybee7725 slurricane is not a power house thc strain but the terps are out of this world. Differnt strokes for differentfolks though. I have a bunch of stuff from ihg going now them a csi humboldt are my go to. I love searchingthrough s1 eltites . I don't pay attention to others when they say they get hermaphrodites. I personally do not really get them and if I do it's at the very end of the run where there are no seeds. I can't say never but no where how others complain. I think it has alot to do with the set up, food requirements , heat stress , rh and sometimes I see lack of light . It's easy to grow cannabis but it's not easy to grow great cannabis. Took me many many years.

Here in Fla., I use 'Tru' for my supplies mainly..strain names change monthly..Go to any other dispensary and the strain names are all different than 'Tru'....

I just cured a 7-month run of Kushberry Moonrocks via indoor in coco. It makes a good king cone challenge.

@MrBossBlue Look for original landrace strains .Good luck,because they are very coveted .The original Columbian from the 60s and 70s is all bred out now.There used to be some very good Mexican strains too like Acapulco gold .But they are all history now too I think .You can find it ,but it's not the real deal .

What happened to enjoying a buzz, now its how baked you can get. Thats the difference in between the 60's & 70's and my daughter today! Enjoy it, not lose it!

For U.K growers looking for good auto's. Mephisto Genetics are head and shoulders above the vast majority in my experience. Barneys Farm have good genetics too. Mephisto though. Game changer and not so well heard of here in the U.K. They got a 30% auto if that's what you like. I prefer a good mix.

Mephisto is one of the few true breeders out there, autos, or not. Barney's farm are just clowns, white box seed sellers... They don't grow, it's not their work, and most is just shitty copycat rip offs which will be inferior to the original breeders offerings

@@AlJa-rb5hjMephisto have taken auto's to the next level. Really good plants. Forum Stomper, Super Orange Haze are the two I've harvested and smoked. Got a couple of Double Grapes on the go now. Barney's are what they are, easy to grow, good yields. Not as flavoursome as Mephisto. Better than a lot of other auto's I've tried though.

Barney's Farm are utter shit though, you might find OK, but you will never find awesome, and what is the point of (wasting time..) running seeds, if you are not going to find awesome? They don't breed, they don't grow, they are just a white label box shifter, users, loosers, con men. You can now get elite (US, breeder) clones in Europe, why waste time, space and risk growing mids

Then select just 25 proper standouts from that 100, and sell those seeds as Mephisto seeds.. Their rivals just sell the lot, from all 100..as it's just money to them. That way Mephisto are constantly moving the game forward. Fastbuds are also excellent, breeding the latest Cali funk into the Auto lines... Highly recommend as well. Instead of wasting time, money and space on Barney's, just buy the original, elite clones and grow funk every single time... 10 year grower here. 7 years of growing only autos. Based in the Uk After years of multiple genetics I can vouch for Mephisto beans hands down the best auto flower genetics. I also have to say certain strains by fast buds like forbidden Runtz and strawberry pie are also very good genetics. There are however fast bud strains that you want to steer well clear of. Like purple lemonade an extremely inconsistent strain that can be great or total rubbish!! If you want consistent results though Mephisto all day

good thing i isolated my blueberrynna as mother plant ...something like it is 1st place .......blueberrynna has special aroma, came out of lemon family plants mixed with who know what male 😅 sweet food taste better with it ...i'm smoking it as i watch ...and adds some freshness through that sweet mild gasy almost candy berry ...depends on growing condition it can become sweet like dryd resin and has amild aroma of some nice smelling grapes ....in one flowering it was like red aromatic vine over blueberry ....last year ....i cured it for 4 months ....this year outside its more fruity berry like and other elements is in smaller% ...it was supernice supersunny and warm september nd october so came out premijum big buds swallowed up ...20-30% biggerfatter buds then grow on my balcony and inside grow ...we thousands of miles away from US have no clue what all this weed on top 10 list tastes like in ilegal countries ...all i know i see ppl puffing some fat big joints and i cannot finish my small one only half of it ..... have no clue what %thc it has 😅 but its prbbly top ....strongest plants high i hade decade ago ....i stopped growing that seeds bcs it was too strong for me ....then .....one smoke wonder .i was more into uplifting types then and hade no place and space to grow it on ........world tnk to your governments in the spirit of antychrist and all their voters and tax payers that goive power and obey the program of that beast system for its gone .....i have 2-3 smoke wonders now creamy line so i dont cry much abput it ....and them is perfectly blanced not to couchlock you too much and not put you to sleep but balance u right ......weed is personal we must find what tunes us up and that is individual and changes

The “official” record stands at 33%. There have been several claims of higher percentages, but bear in mind a plant needs to consistently register at these levels to truly be regarded as the advertised percentage.

Never had any of these strains, but would gladly try. Especially the Banana Zkittles. I’ve had other strains of Zkittles and they are all excellent on the ones I’ve sampled.

The fact that sometimes it’s 35% thc on a site and 21% on an other is crazy I don’t’ get it. Obviously every plant will not have exactly the same amount of thc even if it’s the same strain. But the difference of information on strains between différents sites on internet is too high

I'm in the UK and I WISH I had access to even half of these. It's mostly stardawg here

That's why I grow my own. As long as you don't sell it. The filth will struggle to get a warrant for a tent grow in the spare room. There's only so much Albanian Stardawg I could smoke.

Thanks for the video 📹 Please make another 2024 strain video 📹 that focuses on Sativa 🙏 I prefer sativa and sativa leaning hybrids for 75% of the day. Those strains are much better if you like to smoke weed and get things done or participate in a physical activity. The indica strains are great for bedtime 🌙

I can vouch for Gary Payton. Some of the prettiest buds I've seen out of about 500. (All organic with proper genetics) It had a silver under-coat and were nice big, dense nugs.

I smoked coming up in the 80's but with Work/Family Life after High School, smoking weed was just not an option. I'm disabled and retired now (Perm Brain Damage after TBI on the job took me out) and weed just became legal in my area last February 2023. I've tried a different strain just about every time I have purchased and haven't quite narrowed down what suits me best. Sativa seems to be my go to. Tried a Hybrid 50/50 Mac1 yesterday that kinda takes me back to my High School parking lot in 82' that I'm buying 7more grams of today '-))

Please look into transcranial photobiomodulation. There are plenty of studies on PubMed, and reliable lights are usually $100 or $200+. I hope you the very best for your tbi. Vagus nerve stimulation and other noninvasive brain stimulation modalities could be quite useful for you. I'd do some research. All the best! Hamblin and Naesar are both some of the top researchers for transcranial photobiomodulation.

Go to Brothers Grimm and get 3 packs for 15 to 30 bucks, go to greenpoint seeds and get deals all the time, dont do overseas, ILGM or be buying 100 dollar plus packs until you get to know the plant.

GMO cookies, I’ve had it before at 27%. I currently have garlicane, which is GMO cookies crossed with slurricane and it’s amazing. I recommend both.

@@pcdoctor48home grown is the way to go. I bought some from a pot shop after I smoked I knew it was hemp laced with Delta 8. It was like a bad acid trip at work. Didn't finish work horrible experience. Happened in south Cali.

You might as well just stop using the word sativa and Indica and what they’re effects are now because they’ve come to find out that those words really don’t mean anything. Well, they grow different and have different size leaves but other than that you can’t predict what one strains gonna feel like based on whether or not that one is sativa and Indica.

Yea, people mainly grow indica cause it flowers faster, sativa can take an extra 6 months to flower completely.

indicas typically grow shorter than indicas. so better for indoor grows.

Wooz I live in Canada where it’s totally legal coast to coast The pot is far from being stronger now then before legalization It’s cheaper,,,, but not even close to strength of street pot I’ve 45 years of experience with it

I know of one not to try. Back in 1968 we bought was called a "brick" of marijuana it was compacted weed that was wrapped in brown paper and tied with string. It was more or less a pound and cost $200. Back then they were not big on scales, and you could buy a nickel, a dime or a lid. What they did was to cut down an entire plant an inch from the ground and put the plant in a manually operated devise that would compact it all into a "brick" about the size of a shoe box. When we opened the paper wrapping, we saw the complete plant stalk and all. It was so dry it was a day or two away from being pulverized into dust, the leaves were covered with mud and the only thing it was good for was a door stop. We jokingly called it "Mexican Ditch Weed" and tossed it into the nearest trash can.
