I've owned the CAT S60 and Xperia XZ1, both were pretty cool. The S60 was definitely a good rugged phone, if you were in a job like construction or something, you could get the most benefit from it. I wish Project Ara hadn't cratered. I love the idea of a modular phone. I also owned the Marshall London - that was a really neat phone, especially for music. Next phone I will get will either be a Lumigon T3 or the AQUOS Crystal

A lot of these phones were canceled because like mrwhostheboss once said "people like crazy, people share crazy but people don't buy crazy"

That’s cool. I owned a Sony Xperia Z3 Compact in another lifetime and it was alright as a phone. My first phone was a Sony Ericsson and that was kinda cool. As for your comment about GMO in food, I really can’t see what the big deal is. Genetic engineering is necessary in crop production to ensure it grows in substandard climates. It’s also good for adding nutrients to foods that would otherwise be devoid thereof, such as rice.

S60 is quite cool man, i'm so glad to see it in this list. i enjoy it, although the thermal is forthe coolness factor. if you just want a durable phone you might consider their other models. fake carbon back starts peeling off after a while but it's durable, fell many times on the floor and you don't have to worry about it.

Exactly, it looks like a render. In face some of the photos show the phone as charging on the screen but its not plugged in. Basically fake which makes me question the rest of the phones shown.

The light phone 2 is crap. No USB C and the E-ink display has a refresh rate that will make your grandmother roll over in her grave. Personally I like the look of E-ink display but everyday usage is going to be very frustrating. Just get the new Nokia 27(20/40)...the flip phone. You will still be able to use it normally while cutting down on your digital life.

These phones seem really interesting. Not to mention tempting, seeing how every normal phone I own is just an ordinary boring slab with a grimy touchscreen and a battery that barely lasts until lunchtime.

Its kind of disappointing that we still have to touch screens to interact with apps and content. Touchscreen was new 10 years ago. We could move on to gesture based interactions, since phones have ever evolving motion sensors, or to voice commands as a convenient alternative.

woop woop, i bought it about a year ago. worth every penny, fell quite a few times so it paid for itself :D tbh Flir camera is quite cool but i got it for the coolness factor. no practical usage for me in real life. still i enjoy the design and shape and durability of this phone. highly recommended, just be aware that any repairs will be a hassle if you dont have a service center in your area or country (i dont have for example).
