Great video! I would recommend adding the torque rating of the engines when available instead of just the HP

There are some serious winners here. The Volvo, and some other great machines. But that Mack is a beauty. And a beast too. Excellent list of unleashed power

That Mack (the last truck ) is absolutely gorgeous I drive that as my everyday OTR truck. Love the lines just needs more power but that’s easily fixed

The Tatra model T 815 has long been replaced by the T 815-7 model, it is supplied to the army in 4x4, 6x6, 8x8 configurations and for special purposes also 10x10 or 12x12. The Army of the Czech Republic buys them with a ballistic cabin. The Belgian army has ordered several hundred CF Military vehicles, these vehicles have a Tatra chassis, 60% of which will have a MAN cabin and 40% a TATRA ballistic cabin. The Belgian army requires PACCAR engines. The gearboxes will be either TATRA or ZF. Tatra vehicles are used by India and Israel, for example, and Nexter also buys chassis for APC. Tatra has the best chassis of military vehicles, where others do not pass the Tatra passes.

This system is very common on trucks in Sweden. It's called "lastväxlare", something like "cargochanger" in english.

We have the Mack trucks, only complaints we have is it's not designed for driver comfort. Leg room is the worst.

Tatra with its unique chassis is the BEST truck in the Solar System and most likely throughout the galaxy. Please also note SPG Dita, Titus, Patriot. All these vehicles are based on this unique chassis solution. That is why, as my colleague before me says: "Where the second best truck ends, that 'TATRA' begins. We Czechs say , "TATRA does not know its own brother". Yes, too much is special.

Totally agree, nobody in the world makes that unique chassis & that is why it was used in the Paris-Dakar in the 80`s.

Where's Oshkosh, Unimog, Isuzu, Mitsubishi etc. The Mack entrant looks like they were told of the pageant at the last minute and quickly cobbled up a military truck from their civvy version. Lol

When it comes to U.S. made military Heavy Trucks no Oshkosh 8X8 were ever mentioned! It's much more capable than the Mack!

Its just like how they mentioned Ashok Leyland Guru from India instead of the other trucks like TATA LPTA 3138 8X8.

Amazing how some of these trucks have less power than a honda accord. I get alot of it has to do with crazy low gear ratio's but even still..

Torque is more important than HP with big trucks. HP correlates to highway speeds and torque to grunt power in towing and payload. Torque gets you going, HP maintains speed.

How do you say incredible military trucks without mentioning Oshkosh?

Pretty much yes… The Mack is cool… but not much… The scania french tanker is mind boggling on many level. Firstly, the French have Renault Trucks and Renault Truck Defense who can perfectly provide the tractor. Can be sure it’s a european “free market” law that obliged them to crap on their own brand like a psycho stepmother abusing the husband former children… Then you have the machine gun on top of the cab. On a tanker truck Which is the last vehicle to be in or around in case of ambush/firefight…

Oshkosh is the bomb. They got it all for getting the job done in the worst conditions. Most of the others look like green painted FedEx trucks.

MACK is a very good truck, but compared with military trucks, the off-road capability is slightly insufficient.

I'm surprised that no one is used electric power system will microwave receiver so they could directly microwave power to to recharge it

I hope your mocking it. It’s the worst truck there bar none. Ooh! Dual fire extinguishers! That’s amazing. Wow! A sloped hood! That’s increadable ! Notice it was the only thing not all wheel drive. Comparatively small wheels. It’s a high way tractor painted green. Pick any other truck.
