Dr. Cox is is a savage and we love him for it. My favorite insult on yhis list is the musical rant, but my favorite ever would have to be when he hired the church choir to sing "Payback is a B."

My favorite is when he had Laverne’s church choir sing “payback is a bitch” when getting back at JD.

I’m sure it wouldn’t count as a comeback but I absolutely love when Jordan is at Perry’s apartment and he asks her ‘should I call you a taxi or just whistle and have the flying monkeys bring your broom around?’

It's regular-strength Tylenol. Here's what you do. Get her to open her mouth, take a handful and throw it at her. Whatever sticks, that's the correct dosage.

You missed the rant Cox gives once JD finally gets him to evaluate him. It's remarkable impactful.

Kelso's "I can assume you're at least 8 years old" is one of my favorite of these.

Dr. Cox could have a top 10 on his own. Top 20, really. So could the janitor.

I miss this show, all of the jokes get even funnier on a rewatch, especially when I know what's coming. Cox, Turk, Kelso and the Janitor are the funniest characters to me.

@@trinaq definitely not. Christa Miller is so funny. She brings snark and humor to mostly every scene she's in.

If I knew him in real life I would think Dr. Cox was a total AH but Johnny C. McGinley is just so freaking funny it's hard not to love Dr. Cox!!

I heard his character was described as “a John C McGinley type” before the man himself was cast for his perfect role and incredible performance!

My favourite line unfortunately doesn't fit into this category. It is actually hard to pin down. It appear towards the end of the series, when Cox and Kelso have developed a friendship without anyone knowing. At one point, Cox says to Kelso, "You're digging the hell out of this secret friendship thing, aren't you?" Kelso's reply? "Indeed. It's like having an affair, without all that exhausting sex." :D :D

Scrubs is one of my favorite shows. I love rewatching Seasons 1-8. This show brings me a lot of joy!

Excuse me, where is JD's "Shut up, shut up, shut up and shut up!" rant? That was my favourite. After being criticised by everyone for his attraction with Tasty Coma Wife, he tells off Dr Cox, Turk and Carla, and Elliot, in rapid succession with savage accuracy, then storms off, leaving Laverne to underline the moment by saying 'Did I miss something good?'

Not sure how anyone could miss JD’s legendary “so’s your face always make sense!”

Calling JD “Murder she wrote” was my fav name used, but the best one still has to be “they hate you bob from the bottom of your hoofs to the top of your pitchfork”!! That deserved a spot!

Thank you Ms Mojo for this amazing video. Scrubs is my favorite show of all time and I still watch seasons 1thru 8 a couple times a year. Dr Cox is a Legend.

Dr. Cox's rants will always be iconic! I try to use them in my personal life whenever I can. One of my favorite rants is when Dr. Cox tells J.D. that if he were anymore useless, he would be the wall in wich he was leaning against. But then he would be providing some jackass with a wall to lean against to reflect on what a jackass he truly is! Scrubs will always have a special place in my heart! It's one of the few shows that has made me laugh, cry, and feel just about every emotion there is.

The intro tho “he can dance if he wants to, he can leave his friends behind.” 😂

Dr. Cox, Janitor and Jordan had the best comebacks and Kelso is a close second...third... fourth?

The back story behind why Dr. Cox keeps saying he hates and can't stand Hugh Jackman is because John C. McGinley was in the top two of a very important role and lost in the audition to Hugh Jackman. It's never been confirmed which role, but that's the actors real life spilling into his character's life, and it was brilliant.

I agree with the number 1 pick is #1; and the “two thumbs” burn is in too 10, but the rest are not IMO. As a scrubs enthusiast, I don’t envy the task though….there are so many good ones! One of my faves is Dr Cox saying something to the effect of, “remember that moment for a bit ago? I’d like to cheat on that moment with this moment and raise a family of tiny little moments.” 😂😂

Scrubs was one of the greatest sit-coms on TV ever. Seasons 1-8 are absolute gems and I rewatch them a lot. We do not talk about the should-have-been-an-abortion that is Season 9

season 9 was a soft reboot/spin off and after 11 years time for yall stop being butthurt about it.

Ben: Look when you and Perry got divorced you made people choose sides. I chose him. Jordan: You're my brother! Ben: Admittedly that made it more difficult.

Those are indeed some of the best insults The one My Musical is one of my favorites from Scrubs and especially that part

Three of my favorite comebacks comes from Dr Kelso. 1. Paging Dr backbone to the bajingo ward. 2. By the way Dr Reed your patient Mrs Burke develop in urinary infection. Apparently it hurts when she makes a whizzy winkle through her sea biscuit. 3. Wow! Perry, people usually don't stop caring about what you have to say 'til after they've been here a few months! Oh, no he didn't!

Basically was just here to see if "I will if you will" was on the list. Easily my favourite burn of the whole series in a series full of great ones :)

Carla was easily my favorite character

When I ever need to think of an insult, I think of what doctor Cox would say, and sometimes it's less successful than others, But it definitely has affected my day to dayvocabulary, and phrases.

So true story I started calling friend of mine at school will be random girls names because I was watching the show and we were teasing each other because he tends to drive me nuts. He did it back just to try to counter me, Not actually knowing it was from a show. and we basically did it for the entire school year and I didn't tell him that we had done it and since then until we were right there in line waiting to get our diplomas. And one of the funny of using parts of it was there was an episode where Dr. Cox says. Sandy,(JD) what say we start our work day? JD JD points out That's technically not a girl's name to which Dr. Cox replies that it's short for. Sandra. I of course did the same thing. Not knowing that my friend also knew that Sandy was technically a boy's name and then I replied that it was short for Sandra and he got really pissed and I had to laugh cuz I managed to recreate the joke even more. 😂

I know this probably sounds like a digression, but it actually leads me back to my original point: Do I think you’re black? Naaaah.”

The calling of girls names was not something the writers came up with. In real life John C McGinley does this to his close friends, like John Cusack, who confirmed this. The only thing the writers did was make sure he didn't repeat names.
