There was a robe in Ever Quest Online Adventures that was reputable by all classes. It was removed from the game, but they last the existing ones that people already had in the game for the people that already had them. Right up until the game shut down, those robes eye being traded and sold for thousands of dollars converted to in game currency.

I feel like this is just an advertisement for Entropia. It succeeded though, I haven't heard of that game until now.

It has to be. I know of items in EverQuest that have went for more than some of the first couple mentioned on this one. Have seen plenty of articles about things in WoW going for more than 1/4 of the things in this list. Either it's a not so subtle Entropia advertisement or the video creator failed to do any real research on the subject.

It's true, it's free to play, but you kinda need to invest some money into it if you want to keep going at a decent rate. Some people make alot of money from that game. For me it's a great social game and fun to play with friends. :) It's a good way to try managing very small businesses for people as it requires alot of time and difficult decisions. :)

thye say it's a free to play game, well lemme tell you, it's very much pay to play, because you'd have to spend several hundred hours to get to the point where 10$ would get you if you bought it. Even then, one mistake, and you lose your chances at making any money in general, because you do something wrong, then can't afford the in game money, to get resources to get more resources to make money for more resources... LOL

Some guy on a WoW private server made a sword that cost him over 30K and all his armor was also custom-made (you could add stats for money) , all-in-all, was worth over 100K. He was number 1 in PVP Arena. He would simply one-shot me and had RAID BOSS hp.
